It was decent, but haven't been there three times and having to repeat my order and still not have it come out right as a little discerning.

I would have loved to have ordered a bagel. But Im a type 2 diabetic so bagels are a rare treat. Instead I went with Da Boss - chicken cutlet, mozzarella cheese, and penne vodka and a side of fries. I had this delivered for my lunch break. First, all my food was hot when it arrived which does not happen often with a delivery order. I had my options of bread and went with the hero for an extra $1. Nice thin cutlet, bread held up with sauce. For my own preference I would have liked more penne and sauce. Looking forward to being able to try a bagel soon/ read more

Awful experience here! The people at the counter are not friendly at all, they are a little overpriced, but sadly their bagels are actually pretty decent. I asked for extra spread on my bagel, and it wasn't even extra and I was charged for it. Will never be back. If you want poor service and want to be disrespected, this is definitely the place for you! read more

We ordered from here the other day and were pleasantly surprised. They are the best bagels I have had in the Danbury area and the closest to an actual NY bagel. They are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The prices are a little cheaper but much better quality than nearby competitors. Great variety of bagels, cream cheese, baked goods, etc. I really enjoyed the scallion cream cheese. Want to come back soon to try a breakfast sandwich. read more

Hands down the best bagels in the Brookfield area! This new gem recently opened on Federal RD in Brookfield. True NY style bagels that you can't find anywhere else. They have an extensive menu serving breakfast and lunch in a casual setting. Aside from their fresh bagels, they have regular deli options, smoothies and fresh juices as well. The owners are so kind and the service is quick, even when they're busy. They have a handful of tables inside to enjoy your food, and accept online orders if you're taking it on the go. Go show them some love! read more

First time trying this place and I was impressed! I ordered a BEC on an everything bagel and the cheese was nice and melty. Typically fresh bagels have a good crust to them so I don't ask for toasted but this bagel was missing that, its crust was soft. Therefore I wish I had gotten toasted. I took a sesame bagel home for later and toasted it and I got what I was looking for! The people were nice and I will definitely go back to try other items. From what I saw everything looked very clean! read more

Oh my bagel! Went in for a couple bagels and they actually had green olive cream cheese fresh!! Hunks of olives just the way I love it. Only thing better would be walnuts but I can add those at home. Asked them to toast the hell out of my bagel and THEY DID!!! Fabulous bagel cooked just right and then toasted to perfection. So excited for this new spot in town!!! Ate too fast for a pic. I will next time. Great spot to hang out if you have the time. A must try!!! read more

Meh, this is nothing like an NY bagel. I think that the impression is if you boil the bagel then it's NY. CT loves making these enormous doughy bagels and that's NY. There is a delicate balance between the ratio of dough and a crunchy outer with an NY bagel. It's very much about the water too. The price was more than anticipated and the bagel was fine. I would try it again. The staff was nice. Still on the hunt for the best bagel in this area. Probably just will continue bringing them back from LI. read more

I come here every week or two and buy half a dozen bagels. They are always excellent. Unlike other bagels, their bagels freeze are enjoyable after removal from the freezer. The counter help isn't perfect, but unless you're a Karen get over it. They sell a great product and they are pleasant. As a general rule. I recommend them highly. It is a 20-minute drive for me and I don't mind making it. read more

Very pleasantly surprised. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to see so many selections available in addition to the standard fare menu. I enjoyed a Portobello mushroom sandwich with melted cheese, cooked red peppers, lettuce and a peach smoothie. The staff were all very friendly and brought the food to my table. I would say a little on the pricey side but I thought it was worth it as I don't usually get the opp to treat myself. The place was very clean and bright with a few tables. There are tables outside as well. read more

While not exactly "Ny best bagels" , I have several Ny bagel spots that I consider the best, these are pretty good. Especially compared to the other bagel place. Garlic and herb cream cheese was definitely not cheap on the garlic and very good. The bagels themselves, a little on the fluffy side but very soft and actually tasty. This is definitely my new bagel spot in the area read more

Love this place. Bagels are by far the best around. Used to stop in every other week or so on the way to work until I moved to the other side of town. Now it's a special treat. All the bagel flavors are delicious, especially the blueberry. My coworkers rave about the jalapeño cream cheese. Nicest family that owns/runs it as well. Keep it up, Kevin! read more

To the man who stole our money and left my family with nothing to eat this evening. You sir, are a thief and I can only hope they rethink the status of your employment. My mom is a single mother and makes ends meet with the help of food stamps (SNAP) so we tried using the new NY Best Bagels' program where you can get leftover bagels for a much lower price. What a mistake. We paid in advance but when my mom went to pick up the food the man inside was nasty. He pretended the bagels we paid for didn't exist, then when shown the receipt told her it was "too late", that they "didn't have anything" for her and refused to refund our money. Hard earned money that should have gone towards our next meal. Again, you sir are a thief and I can only hope your employer sees this message before you take the company down with you. Those bagels may have been an inconvenience for you, but they were a meal to me. read more

It is a VERY disorganized establishment! after ordering my food items, I proceeded to the register to pay (which is pretty standard everywhere else) and a Spanish female employee kept telling other customers to cut in front of me so that they could pay! After 10 minutes of this I decided to take my money elsewhere! As I was about to leave, the lady called me up to finally pay. After I expressing my dissatisfaction with my experience, she told me that people are supposed to pay once their orders are complete! I then told her that that should have been expressed by the server who takes the orders! The food is expensive and for no reason. I rate the food a 4 out of 10. I will never be back! read more

"NY Best Bagels" but it's the flattest bagel I've ever had, cream cheese was good though. The man who made my bagel, super nice! The girl who took my payment made it seem like she couldn't give a crap about being there. All she said to me was "What'd you get" instead of maybe asking her coworker what my order was or saying hello to me and asking nicely. She was rude and looked miserable. Maybe put someone else on the register. I'm sticking to Bagelman after this. read more

Excellent chicken salad sandwich. So fresh!! I enjoyed every bite or I would have taken a picture!

Great bagels. But over $9 for a BEC is wild. Not realistic lol might at well just go to Bagelman.

While enjoying the food they offer - I am disappointed in their $10 min rule. Barely ever do I carry cash and paying $7 for a bagel I should be able to pay with my bank card. On few occasions now was forced to order more food than I intended to eat because I did not have cash on me and needed to use by bank card. Perhaps lowering that requirement to $5 would be better for some of your frequent clients? read more
