This was later so a lot of the bagels were purchased
Brian V.

With a name like this, I thought it was part of a chain, but I think they might be a smaller operation - possibly the only location or maybe a franchise? It's not that much of a biggie as long as they have quality bagels and have friendly service. The vibe here is like a small neighborhood spot. I came in one morning before work and wanted to try the eye catching rainbow bagel. I ordered that with plain cream cheese. Just a fun, visually appealing bagel (FYI - the colors do not change the flavors, so it's essentially a plain bagel). I also got a container of their chives schmear or cream cheese because I had a bunch of bagels in my fridge at home. Both the bagel and the different cream cheeses were great. The folks working here are just really friendly, so this is one of those places that I love supporting. Also, there's a good variety of fresh bagels every day as well as different flavored or type of schmears. There's also some breakfast sandwiches for the folks that are more hungry and want all the fixins of a more elaborate meal.

Such a cute spot! If you're looking for a legit bagel spot, I highly recommend coming here! They have a variety of fresh bagels, breakfast choices of sandwiches/platters, salads, etc... The prices are super reasonable and you can taste the quality of ingredients. I really appreciated the team greeting us, giving us space to review menu, and thoughtfully asking questions so that our order is correct. The level of detail this place shares gave my husband and I a wonderful experience! Will definitely come here again! (FYI - we ordered the "sunrise bagel", plain bagel and cream cheese, iced coffee, and hot chocolate) Cleanliness: 5/5 Food quality: 5/5 Seating - there are tall tables and regular tables so plenty of room. Parking - plenty of parking as it's part of a business plaza.

Jalapeño bagel Egg w/ Cheese plus avocado

My husband and I really enjoy this local naval shop for their breakfast sandwiches. Yesterday I got the egg and cheese on jalapeño bagel with avocado and it was pretty darn good. The bagels are soft and yummy. The services is good, no complaints there. Location is very chill, with quite a few tables to sit and eat.

I finally got a chance to visit this Cafe, and it was well worth the visit. In my opinion, NY/NJ by far, have the absolute best bagels, breads, and pizza of course. So, whenever I hear of a place that boasts on that "NY style," I try and visit. I ordered the jalapeño bagel, toasted with cream cheese, and it did not disappoint. Although the jalapeño flavor was very subtle, I appreciated it because it was evident throughout the entire bagel. The service was good, Nick was very pleasant. It's a nice, clean spot, with that deli appeal. I rate this place a 4.5. There's a very small reason I'm not giving it a 5, but not something I'm willing to share because it would be insignificant to most. I look forward to my future visits, because as of now it's the only place that I have been to for bagels that has even come close to the true NY style. I highly recommend this place.

Chocolate milk ?

Ordered 2 bagel sandwiches and a vanilla almond milk coffee. Wasn't until we were 20 min away and we tried the "coffee" realizing they gave us CHOCOLATE MILK and wrong bagel for one of the sandwiches. Disappointing and expensive mistake‍....

Sausage egg and cheese on a plain bagel

Tried their bagel sandwiches for the first time. The bagel options were a bit limited, but the texture was great. They mixed up my order, but quickly fixed it. Overall, a pleasant experience with friendly and fast service!

Incredible prices!

I am a bagel snob and these are great ones! Nice chewy skin so you know they are boiled and a soft yet dense inside. I tried the ubiquitous everything bagel which had a nice balance of toppings including the unusual oats. Good service, and a small yet inviting eating area. When I was leaving I complimented the owner on the great bagels. He told me he has them delivered from New York!! that's about as authentic as you can get.... Super reasonable prices for what you are getting.... I will be back...

CTA bagel and Bagel with Lox
Rony Q.

Nice small location in the middle of a busy plaza. Bagel with lox (4/5): had everything you need for a great bagel, but could've had a bit more cream cheese but that could be my preference. CTA bagel (4/5): standard cream cheese, tomato, avocado. Can really notice the lemon pepper and wasn't against it at all.

hard and dry ONION bagel

the service was alright my sister and I asked for two jalapeño cheddar bagels and were served cold hard onion bagels. also the latte was NOT a latte at all. we wasted 20$. definitely not worth the hype in my opinion. The bagel could cause serious damage to a windshield if thrown hard enough.

First time here. I came in around 12:10pm. This was the bagel selection at that time. I got the Egg, Turkey Ham, & Cheese on a Asiago Bagel with Chive Cream Cheese. It was nice and hot. It was so good! Will definitely be back hopefully a little earlier. Employee was very helpful answering my questions as it was my first time here.

Came for breakfast next door today but this place caught my eye in the corner lol best decision of the day! Walked in and was greeted. I was bummed cause I thought they had no more bagels but come to find out they could make a fresh batch!!! Man oh man these were some of the best bagels I've ever had! I will definitely be making the drive for these in the future!

Stumbled upon this gem while waiting for an oil change! Decided to get a breakfast pastrami wrap. VERY GOOD! The staff were super nice and helpful explaining the menu and different ways I can order. I'll definitely be coming back here.

Was in the mood for a bagel this morning and had been wanting to try this place for a while. After having experienced a bagel shop in NYC, I have been anxiously wanting to find something similar here in Southern California. Knowing full well how seriously NYCers take their bagels, I knew it wouldn't be exactly the same, but it was worth a shot. I placed an order for pickup through Yelp which is powered by GrubHub. I received confirmation my order was received, but never received confirmation my order was accepted, in progress, or ready. I ended up calling the store and they confirmed they had my order and it was ready for pickup. Parking in this shopping center is interesting. There's more parking in the back, which I would recommend. Or park further away from the shop because most of the stores in this center have designated parking spots coned off for their customers and several threaten to tow. The shop is cute and was actually pretty busy when I walked in. There's a good amount of tables and chairs available for dining in, most of which were already occupied by customers. There's a really cool photo of Times Square, above which there's a clock with Los Angeles time and a clock with New York time. I was greeted immediately and given my order promptly. I ordered the Lox on an onion bagel and added lettuce to try and make it exactly like the bagel I had in NYC. I think it would have been 5 stars if I hadn't had the ordering notification issues. The bagel had great flavor, but I think if I'd gotten to it sooner, it would have been very comparable to what I had in New York. The lox, cream cheese, capers, tomato, onion and lettuce--it all went together nicely. Next time, I think I'll come in to order and dine in to soak up some NYC ambiance. Thanks NY Bagel!

I knew I wanted a lox bagel and the young gentleman at the counter helped me with the vietnamese ice coffee which I THINK he recommended caramel? or maybe it was vanilla. Either way, it was superb. The interior is small but that's no worries for me, I enjoyed my breakfast at home. I appreciated that the pickle was wrapped separately. I love pickles but I don't want pickle juice infiltrating my bagel. Portions were solid and well balanced. The bagel itself was soft and crunchy and bit through without fuss. You know when you bite a bagel and it holds back? Not here. Thank you guys!! Next time I'm around, I'll be making sure to stop in.

ONE STAR** VIETNAMESE ICED COFFEE REVIEW ONLY…read more I'm giving 5th Ave Bagelry five stars because I don't like bringing down the rating of a small business. However, I want to be very clear that THIS REVIEW IS SOLELY ABOUT THE VIETNAMESE ICED COFFEE. If I were rating the Vietnamese iced coffee itself, unfortunately, I would give it 1 star. It's advertised as Vietnamese iced coffee, but what I received tasted like a regular iced coffee--watery, mild, and lacking the strong, bold, rich, almost chocolatey flavor you expect from a traditional Vietnamese iced coffee. Honestly, it wasn't much different from an iced coffee you could pick up at a gas station. The small ice was correct and appreciated, but unfortunately, the flavor just wasn't there. I really don't think this particular drink should be called Vietnamese iced coffee because it sets an expectation that the drink simply doesn't deliver. Again, this isn't a review of the business, food, or service--ONLY THE VIETNAMESE ICED COFFEE. I just wanted to give other Vietnamese coffee lovers a heads-up so they know what to expect before ordering it.

I ordered a cold brew with banana foam, and the cold foam was forgotten at first. When it was added afterward, it kind of threw off the whole drink. The final result tasted more like the dreaded coffee-flavored water than an actual cold brew, which is not ideal when coffee should be the main event. The staff is friendly, the menu is COMPLEX, and they have a lot of interesting drinks and other cool items for sale. It's worth stopping by once to check out but based on the drink I had, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back. However, one super cool thing is that when they make their ice cubes, they're made out of coffee so that when it melts, it melts down correctly. That's probably the only thing that's bad ass about this place.

We ordered two Spanish lattes, one with whole milk and one with oat milk. After our name was called, my daughter went to pick up the drinks, but no one acknowledged her, so she picked up the single-use paper cups herself. Since the cups weren't labeled, we couldn't tell which drink contained oat milk and which contained dairy. I explained to the employees that I cannot have dairy and asked if they could remake the drinks since we couldn't safely identify which was which. They told me the drink on the left was made with oat milk, but by that point, we had moved the cups around, and neither we nor the employees could confirm which drink was which. Instead of handling the situation with understanding, they seemed irritated that I asked them to remake the drinks. As I stood waiting, one of the employees commented rudely, "It's going to be a minute." There were only three other customers in the cafe, and they already had their food and drinks and appeared to have been studying for a while. When our drinks were finally ready, the cups had the words "OAT" and "WHOLE" written in very large letters. While labeling them was helpful, the attitude throughout the interaction was unnecessary and unwelcoming. When our food was brought to the table, it was set down carelessly, with an obvious attitude. We thanked the employees, but they didn't acknowledge us. When they returned to clear the table, they roughly grabbed the dishes and items, pulling them off the table in an abrupt, irritated manner. We thanked them again, but they ignored us. Even as we were leaving, we thanked the employees one last time, and they completely ignored us again. The repeated rudeness and lack of basic courtesy were shocking and made us feel unwelcome throughout our visit. Mistakes and mix-ups can happen, but how customers are treated when asking for help matters just as much. I simply needed to know which drink was safe for me to consume. Our bill was over $100, but my expectations for customer service aren't based on how much we spend. Basic courtesy and respect should be the bare minimum because we are customers who choose to spend our money at your establishment. Being acknowledged, treated kindly, and spoken to respectfully should not be too much to ask. Unfortunately, the employees' attitude overshadowed our entire experience. Spending our money at a business should not mean feeling like an inconvenience for asking a reasonable question or being treated with basic courtesy.

I was told they keep it in a separate dough hopper to avoid cross contamination, which is great, but it also means they won't make just one or two. It's a half dozen minimum, and it takes about 20 minutes since they're made fresh and separately from the regular batch. Once mine came out, they were warm and satisfying, not quite as fluffy as the regular donuts, but still a solid treat. Most of the coatings and toppings are vegan too, just skip anything with Nutella or a dairy based coating, so you've still got plenty of options to customize. A couple of flavors I went with were cinnamon sugar and a maple glaze with walnuts and enjoyed both. On a less positive note, they have a claw machine game near the entrance that took my money and never actually worked properly. I tried to find someone on site to help, but no one seemed to be able to do anything about it, and I've had a hard time getting a hold of anyone since to get it resolved. If you're going to have one of these machines in your store, someone should be able to actually help when it eats a customer's money. Staff at the counter were friendly and made sure to double check which toppings were vegan. Just know before you go, call ahead to confirm the location carries vegan batter that day, and be ready to commit to a six donut minimum and a short wait. 4 out of 5.
