The level of service at their location was so innept RUDE and sh*t from virtually every employee…read moreall the way up to their manager, that I honestly question the legitimacy of the positive reviews. They have dropped the ball with our order at EVERY LEVEL. "Angry" doesn't even begin to cover it. They have ruined my daughters bday, our entire Holiday season, family gatherings ARE SHOT bc we will not have a functioning Kitchen . An order placed by the way *IN AUGUST* for an uncomplicated, relatively standard u shaped small/ sized kitchen layout. Beginning of August- Husband got a referral from a coworker. We called up to find out information about their cabinets and began the initial process of having them assist us with a design layout for our *SMALL* *EASY* VERY UNCOMPLICATED kitchen layout. One Standard U- shaped design with a medium kitchen island. So essentially, 5 small uppers and 7 bases (including the kitchen island) Should be easy....RIGHT?! NOPE. The woman took our file, we went back and forth tweaking and making small adjustments, and then she subsequently decided to sit on it for two weeks DOING ABSOLUTELY F*CK ALL, and then went fraulicking off into the sunset to go on vacation, without communicating any of this to us. Radio silence for two weeks. End Of August- *We* have to email and call them multiple times find out what the hell is going on with her "design" so that we can place an order. (This is when we find out about her "vacation") This becomes a running theme in our dealings with them. End of August- Somehow our file ends up in the hands of the manager. We are back to the drawing board again, picking out cabinets and a new layout. We quickly decide on the European modern style cabinets. Grey bottoms, white uppers. August 27th. "WOopsies!" BTW, he says, this whole time that you guys have spentselecting a cabinet design, we've neglected to mention that these particular cabinet styles are out of stock, so they won't come into our warehouse until the middle of October. "Fine,..... but YOU'RE *SURE* THAT THEY WILL BE HERE ON OCTOBER 19TH?" Oh yes, definitely. We prepay, and then begin the demo process of tearing out our old kitchen cabinets. This means, No stove, no oven, no floors, no nothing. For TWO MOS we've been basically cooking everything out of a microwave, in anticipation for our cabinets to come in. So naturally, October19th comes and goes. No phone call. Now we are nervous and peeved. Ok?...Why haven't they called us? We give them another weekend to get in touch. IM PRAYING they got this right, and there must be some legitimate reason we haven't heard anything yet. Tuesday rolls around, and WE call. The manager does everything humanly possible to avoid us. We leave msgs. "Oh hes not in the office" "Oh, he's currently in the warehouse processing your incoming delivery" Still no phone call back. Unbelievable We are pretty laid back easy going people.. By now, we are officially really, really pissed off. Eventually, via a series of convoluted email chains we find out exactly why dude has been avoiding our phone calls. "WHOOPSIE" it looks like half of the cabinets that you've paid for are missing, and the rest of your delivery won't be here until the beginning of January OF NEXT F*CKINGYEAR At this point, our patience reservoir has been exhausted. We demand some sort of refund or compensation for this inexcusable level of apathy, lack of communication, and incompetence. I have left out SO SO Much out in this review. Somehow my husband works out a measly 5% discount for our troubles...but *ONLY* if we gave him (the manager) the green light that very night with the plans. My husband responds and gives him the green light within ten minutes (its literally timestamped in the emails) Within those ten minutes, MIRACULOUSLY the manager had a death in the family we are told, and had to immediately flee from the store and catch a flight to California within a ten minute time span, so our laughably pitiful discount that they offered FOR Essentially RUINING OUR ENTIRE HOLIDAY is now not available. Amazing. So we are left back at square one. No cabinets, no apologies, no nothing. They've Wasted MONTHS of our money, and our time, and then basically spit in out face. We will probably have to rent a hotel for Thanksgiving. THANKS GUYS!! Yes, I will be elevating this to their corporate headquarters and making a complaint with the BBB. Every morning i wake up and am furious and heartsick.

Working with Brian Novak at United Wholesale Supply Inc was a true pleasure. Brian came out to my…read morehouse with a couple of colleagues, to see what my home looked like before my remodel and to measure and discuss my cabinetry needs for my kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms. Although there were a few missing components when we opened all of the packaging containing the cabinetry, Brian made sure everything was as it should be in the end and got me everything I asked and paid for with no argument. He even made a few deliveries himself. Brian was professional, extremely knowledgeable and helpful when I had questions or concerns. He had me come up to his office / warehouse location to look at some examples of what United had to offer, which I would recommend others do as well. He "always" responded back to me when I sent an email or called even when he was ill or on vacation. He explained things when I didn't understand so I could contemplate what I wanted, and we could go forward from there. When the remodel was complete, Brian and his colleague, Jade Hemmings, came out with a professional photographer (at my convenience) and took photographs. Jade made sure I was given copies of the photos taken, which was sincerely appreciated. I would highly recommend United Wholesale Supply Inc and anyone lucky enough to have Brian as their sales associate, would be lucky to have him.

We had four bathroom granite countertops installed by Pius Kitchen and Bath. Most of the process…read morewas excellent, but surprisingly, our experience ended on a sour note such that we will not use Pius again and recommend caution to anyone who does. Sophie, the manager at the very nice Pius Tacoma showroom and our only contact in dealing with our project, was very helpful in all aspects of selecting the granite stone. A trip to the Pius warehouse in Seattle 's SoDo neighborhood near Century Link Stadium showed quite an impressive operation as we selected our stone panels. The installers did an amazing job of measurement, stone cutting, and tight fitting installation - but that is when things began to go wrong. Pius has great prices but be forewarned, they only install and are not responsible for anything other than putting the countertops in. You are responsible for tearing out your old countertops and preparing your home with floor coverings to protect from dirt and dust. That's OK as they made it clear that is how they operate. And there is a lot of dust from cutting the countertops in your driveway or front yard that they "try" to clean up "as best they can". Our problem and deep disappointment and let-down was their refusal to address the inadequate final cleaning of the countertops. The installers left a residue of fine dust and a thin film of glue that blemished the luster of the countertops. The head installer did wipe down the countertops with acetone but never changed rags and left a covering of dust and film. We asked him about it as he finished, and he said we "could use Windex for a final cleaning". OUR MISTAKE - We should have insisted right then that he redo his cleaning to remove the dust and film because as we found out after he left, our attempts with Windex did not remove the thin film of glue on the countertops. We emailed Sophie detailed pictures and videos of the blemished countertops along with observations proving this was dust and a film of glue that should have been removed by their installers. And we asked her to send someone to inspect and fully clean the countertops. Additionally, a 3rd party contractor we used to remove the old countertops who is a contractor Pius routinely works with also told Sophie the countertops were not properly cleaned. To all this, Sophie never called to clarify our comments and instead emailed a response that what we were seeing were "normal stone defects" they could not take out. Her comment was totally false! We researched cleaning products and to our great relief, we were able to clean the dust and film from the countertops to our full satisfaction. However, the blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and owning up for something they were responsible to handle soured us from doing further business we were planning to do in remodeling our kitchen. We will never use Pius Kitchen and Bath again and don't care how good their prices might be. If you still decide to use Pius, be sure to observe and carefully inspect the final cleaning and insist the installers fully clean your new countertops to the same luster you see in their showroom.
