Was seeking employment at a staffing agency to help me continue to grow in customer service and to earn extra cash . However, after emailing Colby Hood if 11am would work to interview I was approached with, I'm guessing an attitude to type in all caps that they only interview from "NOTHING LATER THAN 8AM or 10AM." There wasn't and "Unfortunately, we cant accommodate that time, we only perform interviews at 8am or 10am Monday-Fridays.. not "NOTHING LATER THAN 8AM OR 10AM." The interview went well, they acted like they really liked me, but they were too slow to apply me to positions. I've worked with several temp agencies before who were usually much quicker. My staffing agent said she'd send my resume to a couple positions - one I wasn't so interested in and one I was very interested in. She finally called me about a week later to say that the one I wasn't very interested in wanted to interview me in person... but I had already accepted a position elsewhere so I had to decline. She then said, "Okay, so you don't want me to send your resume to the [other position I was really interested in]?" I said "No"... but I feel like she should've done that initially! Oh well. Was given the runaround several times trying to get into a specific firm, an insurance firm called Foundation Insurance Group, well they don't like Gay people and the interior of the office was "segregated accidentally"(according to the boss) and I tried following up with the rep I had at NVT but that person will not communicate with me since the end of that assignment, To everyone wanting to get into the work force please look at other temp agencies, There are more options out there. I have been a resident of Senate Square for more than a year. Before that time I was a resident of another Bozzuto Property. The neighbors are great. Mark the manager has been really good to us. Neighbors are mostly good. Location is excellent. However ... Jacqueline Moore (northern va temp). is by far the most unprofessional concierge I have come in contact with. Linden is amazing along with the concierge in the Lexington building from 4pm - 8 pm. Not only has Jacqueline Moore insulted me, but also my 16 year old son to the point that he does not want to pick up his dry cleaning for school from the front desk because he must encounter her. I have never dealt with a more condescending person than she. I am displeased with the response of management as she apologized to my son and me while rolling her eyes and looking away. My name is not sweetie as depicted when signing for deliveries nor should my son have to wait aside while she assists other residents with respect while the come and go with their deliveries as she watches. I do not pay over 4K a month to listen to her rants as she disrespects and degrades my family. I will follow up tomorrow and speak with as many neighbors as I can to see if any other minorities have dealt with this. I don't care to hear her swear to her lord or god when all I want is customer service at the front desk after a long day at work. I did not move into a building with 24 concierge to avoid going to pick up items a certain times while a certain concierge is working. My son come into contact with ms Moore twice tonight (as in the past) each time displeasing. I wanted to a bag of baby clothes to a neighbor. Told them I would leave them at the front desk for them. Sent my son down for the second time tonight (after his drycleaning). He was told to call the neighbors because she had too many packages. He is a child. We were trying to help a neighbor by giving clothes. We had no idea it would be another hassle and conflict. We have no idea why there is a tv screen and email alerting people of deliveries if we are required to call neighbors to alert then. Neighbors that we really do not know other than meeting in the hallway and at the buildings BBQ. I'm not sure why this company hired Jacqueline Moore, but I am unsure of the training obtained in customer service or not discriminating against people based on race or religion. I am immensely disturbed by her actions and disrespect. read more

Absolute WORST agency if you are the employee. They put too much emphasis on the client and not the employee, which creates an employee who hates their assignment and the temp agency that sent them there. They will frequently leave out pertinent information like hidden costs of assignments or correct contact information. Their staff is just not that professional. They are quick to argue with you about every little thing, even extremely minor things. Just not a good place to go if you are an employee. And not a good place for employers who are looking for satisfied staff. The attitude that comes out of an NVT temp is I'm quitting the second something better comes along so I will no longer have to deal with this agency. As a result you get unhappy and/or unreliable employees, even if they are professional they are looking elsewhere. read more

This is a terrible company to work for. They are very nasty unprofessional people. I have moved back to VA 3weeks ago and called their office. Unfortunately, I spoke to Dan who is very lazy and who said to send him my resume and I did. NVT@staffingagency.com how easy that was, as I sent it multiple times in span of 2 weeks that past and I called the office this man has not returned my calls and even have responded to my numerous email, instead he lies and said he never recieved any emails- at- all. July 072015 12noon I called the office again and finally spoke to him and he said I'm the one who is nasty and he didnt want to work with me because, hear this out~ I constantly called to follow-up after 2 weeks of unproductive response from this whole company. Funny it may seem, I worked with many Big Companies such as; Mercedes-Benz, Comcast, Hilton, Real-estate....Don't even know why I need an agency but to expand my network. People !!!
