MB Staffing is the BEST!!!! Polished polite professionals that really care about their people. I have worked with several staffing agencies in the area, including SPARKS and Randstad, and this agency has to be the BEST hands down. I originally came to MB Staffing when an assignment with another agency came to an end in June 2015 and was introduced to recruiter Jeffery Hebert who truly is a miracle worker. Within approximately a day, of applying online, I was contacted by Jeff to come in for an interview at their Chinatown office and a few days later was contacted regarding an assignment he had for me (Note: Prior to MB Staffing, I had applied to dozens of companies and would never hear back from them or would go on interviews only to be told that I was "overqualified"). Jeff has always been down-to-earth, humble, and honest in my interaction with him which is like a breath of fresh air in an area like Washington, DC. Every interaction I've had with the staff is nothing but positive and refreshing from the extra effort they put into every little detail of their operations: from the follow-up phone calls from dedicated team member Priscilla, checking in to see how my assignment is coming along, to other team members like Josh adjusting their schedules just to make sure people are able to pick-up their paychecks. Even on assignments, I hear nothing but positive responses and smiles when the name MB Staffing comes up. A few days ago, I was on the Branch Avenue (Green Line) train, coming from a current assignment in Maryland, when I overheard a woman sitting in front of me mention how she was working with MB Staffing on one assignment, how she couldn't get home because the train stopped running, and how the recruiter at the agency picked her up in his own vehicle to make sure she got home safe. The lady was moved almost to tears that somebody had thought so much about her safety for an assignment and how you don't really come across people like that anymore. Already having an idea of who it might be, I leaned in front of the seat smiling slightly and asked, "Excuse me miss.....sorry to interrupt and get into your conversation but who was the person?" She replied, smiling and trying to hold back tears, "His name is Jeffery. I'll never forget that name; he truly is a good person. I was out of work for 2 years and he really came through for me." I smiled back and said, "I'm with MB Staffing too and Jeffrey really is a good person. When I didn't have a position, he definitely looked out for me as well." I truly have never seen anything like this before and would highly recommend this staffing agency to anyone who is dedicated, hard working, and really wants an opportunity to succeed. I just want to say, that MB Staffing is the BEST!!!! I have worked with them over the years and each and every time I have not had any issues. Jeffrey is the best at what he does, once he gets to know you and your skillset he works hard to put you in a place that will work for you and the client. The staff is kind, hardworking, professional and knowledgable about the job industry. If more companies treated you like MB Staffing treats their employees then Temp agencies wouldn't have such a bad name. MB Staffing is the fist agency that I've worth with to seek employment. Honestly, I really didn't know what to expect. After being laid off for almost a year (and working from home PT), I decided to give it a go to get back in the full time work force. I must say that I was pleasantly suprised. Jeff Herbert is phenomenal. He is professional, courteous, and considerate. He knows his job and works very hard to make sure that I continue to keep assignments. I have been employed ever since my interview with the agency. At this time it's been two months. Both assignments were very pleasant and in professional enviroments. I go into to Mb Staffing every other Friday to pick up my check and each time I am surrounded by MATURE PROFESSIONAL MEN AND WOMEN to do the same. It sounds like you were rejected, or Mr. Hebert screened you and determined that you were not a fit for Mb Staffing Services. Working with MB Staffing can be summed as an interesting experience. When I first started with them, they immediately assigned me with government positions that payed well. Within that time period I was currently in grad school which made it difficult to juggle both responsibilities. I didn't know how they were going to handle the news of me leaving so soon but when I let them know I needed a break from the job sights, they completely understood and told me to come back when Im done with school. I have been with Mb Staffing since August 2012. They were able to place me in a prestigious position with DC Government that has lead to me to some other great opportunities. Mb Staffing has extremely professional staff that give great attention to correctly matching an applicant with an assignment. They have the formula down pat! I disagree with the negative reviews I have seen about this company, and would say that these individuals may not have had success with Mb either because their qualifications did not properly match any available assignments, or because they were not persistent in reaching out to Mb who receive many applications daily. Mb Staffing is the BEST staffing agency in Washington D.C.. The staff is very organized and professional. As for assignments, they have always placed me in a great working environment. The timesheet process is very easy and I never had any issues with payment. The office location is very convenient, as it is just a few steps a way from the metro (Gallery Place). Mb Staffing placed me at really spectacular place called SPI: Plastics Industry Trade Association and because of that I am now the Assistant to the Office of the President a permanent employee. I was only looking for part time work. When I went into the Gallery-Place Chinatown office the experience was pretty straight forward. I took a few computer tests which were pretty basic.
