Will not be returning to this salon. We asked for the basic pedicure. It was just ok. I get much better peds n our home town for less money. The real kicker was my sister was paying for mine and her pedicures with one card and one transaction. They charged her 2 separate 4.00 charges as a convenience fee for using her card to pay. A total of 8.00 for running her card. She told them there should only be one charge since they only ran the card once. Not a good experience at all. I made an appointment for an acrylic fill. I had never been here before, but I am local and thought I would try them. When I first sat down at the station, I immediately noticed how filthy the table was. Additionally, all the tools and bottles he was using were dirty as well. His nails were dirty and ragged too. I seriously should have left then, but I really wanted my nails done. The fill wasn't great. He pushed back my cuticles aggressively and it was very painful. He left the acrylic very thick and totally squared off tips with sharp edges. I had square ovals when I walked in. At this point I was just ready to get out of there. Then as others have mentioned, there were multiple up-charges for "shaping" and "cuticle trimming". A $30 fill ended up costing $52. I won't be returning. read more

Welp, last night i went to book a nail appointment on their website. The price was to be "38$" no harm no foul, well.. we walked in and got seated everything going great! All was well until time to pay.. We were charged for "Nail shape" ??? never been charged for that before... We were also charged for gel, when we weren't told we were getting gel.. Turns out when we walked in we were immediately given gel colors leading us to believe it was the norm.. I say all this to say that we were misled into paying an extra 22 dollars... This place is absolutely horrible. I have gone here multiple times and have never been happy after I left. Same goes for multiple family members and friends. The woman who greeted us at the door was very rude and was audibly saying how she didn't want to be there. The pedicure was fine but EXTREMELY over priced for how short it was. I never want to back. My tech was super pushy over and over trying to get me to buy things I didn't want. Then, she painted my toes a color no where near what I chose. When I told her she said she'd just "paint over"! I'd chosen a light pink and she'd painted them brown! She seemed put out that I would ask her to take off the wrong color. Then she proceeded to grumble for 10 min. Hands down the worst service I've ever received. Melissa, the nail tech, and I agreed the job she did was extremely poor and I was very unhappy. She tried to convince me to come back two weeks later. I kindly declined and said I wanted them fixed that moment. She refused and said two weeks. So I began to leave and said I'd pay for the job when I came back and she fixed it. She chased me outside and demanded I pay her for her job because it "wasn't her fault." So I paid the $40 and tipped her just to prove a point. I then went to a nearby salon and told them my story. Without even naming NV Nails, they said they receive numerous clients from them who are incredibly disappointed with their product and that NV Nails has a reputation of calling the police on their disappointed clients. Should have listened to the reviews. Made appointment for daughters and I for the services we wanted a day in advance and wanted pedicures and manicures. Clarified how many and exactly what we wanted so that there was no confusion. Now we are sitting in pain due to skin nips on both feet from horrible pedicures. The woman who did mine did not have any personalized tools so hoping it doesn't get infected. She also didn't use any kind of blood stop or antibiotic once they were bleeding just water from my feet bath. While getting gel manicure(which we both have) my daughter needed one acrylic put on(which we told everyone was needed beforehand) for a broken natural nail, the tech became very rude and then tried to rush and cut my daughter skin on that finger. Again no packaged personalized tools so again hoping for no infection. They also did not do any soak off of old gel with acetone and foil as we have had for years. Used dremel to get old gel off and it was painful and gel dust all over us. Beyond frustrated but should have listened to reviews. This was in the area we were going to be shopping and eating so thought it would be fine. Salon was very unclean as well. read more

I had a younger gentleman do my pedicure from the time I walked in the door until we left made 0 eye contact anytime I would speak to him ... it felt really uncomfortable. I was on vacation with my sister & best friend they set a timer as soon as it went off they were pushing us out the door. Everything was terrible & rushed. We had paint all over our toes- the quality of the nail polish is cheapest brand out there so the outcome looks poor. We paid $115 with tip for all 3 and just absolute nightmare with sanitation too. We made the best of it while we were there.... this is the first time I've ever written a bad review on a business .... it was that bad. where do I start... they seem to have sanitizing in place for covid but they do not. The nail tech that gave me my pedicure did not have a mask on, did not use the screen and even got up mid pedicure to go answer the phone and did not clean her hands after. The actual pedicure was PAINFUL. I literally said ow 5x and the tech did not care. She used a dry sponge and scratched my feet and dug forcefully into my nail bed. My sister still had numerous dry patches on her feet and they said they could not fix it. Not exactly sure what we paid for. Needless to say, spend your money elsewhere. I was a little concerned about coming here due to all the poor reviews. It turned out to be a great experience for us. I took my 3 daughters for manicures with the dip powder and they were very accommodating. I did make a reservation in advance and they did all 3 girls at the same time. i have come here 4 times and i only come when in desperate, but listen. LITERALLY every time i have come, i have not been happy with the outcome. i went today, and one hand looks amazing, but the other hand looks terrible. i have the acrylic all over my skin and he redid my thumb 2 different times and it still looks like a platypus tail. i'm not gonna post pictures because then i'll feel bad bc they could see this, and they'll know who it was. The receptionist is very nice. Over 3 visits had problems with nail technicians understanding English. But the last time really was horrible. Half way through they said we are closing soon so you need to pay now and leave a tip. I paid $37 plus $5 tip. She left the top of my toe nails not filed smooth. She never put any lotion on my feet...I guess because I said not to put lotion on my legs. I was studying and not watching closely. I said don't do a top coat so it will dry faster. She did 2 super thick color coats and 45 min later they still weren't dry after I was home and I got lots of dings in the polish. I left a message on Facebook and they were nice about coming back in...then they made it almost impossible for me to come in at a time that worked given I have fibromyalgia and often am in pain (you come now...no, I can't) and then we hit horrible weather with snow and couldn't leave. My recommendation is find somewhere else. read more

Horrible! I just moved to Branson and was looking for a new nail salon that was convenient to my work. I stopped in to get my nails done and was all but called a liar by three techs including the owner. I told them I had dip on my nails and they kept insisting that it was gel. As she started doing my nails she was doing dip but not using the lights between each coat. When I asked if she was going to use the lights to dry/cook she told me no you only do that for gel see I told you you had gel. After several dips and my nails looking gritty I asked again. She said this is the way we do dip and don't worry it will last for 2 to 3 weeks. Needless to say the next day I already had a cracked nail that then chipped off. I went back and asked to get it fixed, I got a finger in my face telling me to wait when I approached the receptionist desk then I was told the next person would help me and get it fixed for me. After waiting for 20 minutes I was approached by a technician who then told me no I would have to wait for the person who did my nails the first time. I again was treated rudely at this visit and now at five days since having my nails done I have two nails on my left hand that are cracked in chipped and I have one nail on my right hand that was chipped that I went to have fixed that I have now had to cut down. Polish is dull and looks like it's been on for weeks. Never again! They missed out on a regular customer. read more

We were happy to book for three pedicures while on vacation, especially since the salon was busy. There was a decent wait past our appointment time, but we were patient and they got us set up as soon as possible. One woman brought us the service menus, to which we all said we wanted the exact same service and no gel. She got to work on my toes, but it was another 20 minutes before someone came to work on the 2nd person in my group; 25 minutes for the third (who's massage chair didn't work). The woman for the 2nd pedi did not confirm what service she was getting and assumed it was gel. When my unknowing friend asked why certain tools were being used and found out she was well in to a gel pedicure, the worker simply said, "oh, well it's only $15 more dollars". She was charged the full gel price, regardless of having specified to the initial staff what was desired and not getting the service asked for. It was just assumed that she would be willing to pay more. I also was charged $5 more than the listed service price without any added services. My third friend is the only one who received and was charged for the service booked. It was a disappointing experience and not one I would return for again, since we each got very different treatment even though we went in for the same thing. The actual pedicure was nothing special, either, and the process of choosing a color from a bunch of color cards made picking a color challenging. My color turned out much brighter than the sample card showed. The employees were nice and the place was clean, but the service (in a vacation destination spot, no less) left much to be desired. read more
