The Gallery Salon in Branson is wonderful. I live in Southeast Texas but travel to Branson on a regular basis. During my latest vacation there, I decided I needed to change my hair style. Not having knowledge of salons, I relied on Yelp for help locating a good one. After reading reviews I chose The Gallery and quickly obtained an appointment there. They got me in promptly with a very talented hair stylist who used the picture I had obtained from Pinterest of the new style I wanted to give me the new look I was seeking. The salon owner was there and made me feel very much at home with his friendly personality. The Gallery has many stylists and offers a wide variety of services. I don't like to write reviews like this but I have to because I am SO unhappy with my hair. I came in to see Keri last Monday for a cut. I had seen her once before & was fairly happy with my hair. This time I brought in 2 photos & specifically told her I wanted to KEEP the length & that I did NOT want a pixie again as I've been desperately trying to GROW IT OUT. I specifically said I did NOT want bare ears as I'm new to the area & it's getting cold. For whatever reason she did not listen. I watched her cut & was liking it until she grabbed some tool I later learned was a texturizer. That was when she started cutting TOO much off. I immediately turned & told her I didn't want a PIXIE & now my ears are bare AGAIN! By then it was too late. Instead of being dramatic about it all, I told her it was fine, I wasn't happy with it, it's not what I wanted, she told me in 2 weeks it would look the way I wanted. I didn't come in to have a haircut that day for it to look the way I wanted that day in 2 weeks or a month. That's ridiculous. Instead of feeling confident & happy, I feel completely insecure, I'm sad I didn't feel heard at all. My hair literally looks like someone took a weedwacker to it. It's uneven AND extremely short!!!!! Not only will I not go back to this salon, this has happened too many times now the last year, I don't think I'll EVER feel safe getting a damn haircut again. I came from out of town for my elopement & I had a wonderful experience! Tracy did my make up, I showed her a picture I told her what I was looking for and what I didn't want and she nailed it! Absolutely loved it. Lesa did my hair I showed her a few pictures and told her to work her magic and she did not disappoint! It's looked Gorgeous! I almost want to drive 4 hours just to get my hair done by her for my root touch ups and I myself am a stylist! Amazing staff here also and super cute salon. I've been going here since before the tornado took out their previous place. Great people, lots of services. They go above and beyond. I've had the eyelash extensions and they were beautiful. Jackie does my color, highlights and cut. She's awesome. I always leave feeling pretty. She is so kind and listens to what you want done. Never once have I left disappointed. I've had a pedicure done there too and it was great. They have a special that I really want to do. It's spa treatments and light lunch. I'd love to feel like a queen for a day and I know this would do it. I hope they still have this at Christmas time because that's what I will be asking Santa for. read more
