One of the only salons open on New Year's Day and the ladies here are absolutely lovely!! They were able to take me and my mom as walk ins. I got a gel manicure and my mom got a gel pedicure. Our nail techs were so friendly and helpful! Mine helped me find the perfect color to wear with my bridesmaid's dress for this weekend and was so quick and professional while doing my nails. Prices are very fair and the work was quality! Great little spot right on Branson Landing. Definitely recommend! read more

The people were nice and welcoming, but the person doing my feet cut my toe about 5 minutes into the pedicure. After that she tried polishing my toenails with old polish. Ended up having to remove it, and I simply replaced it with clear polish. I didn't want to chance it. read more

Look elsewhere. Very low inventory of gel polish. Had to choose 5 different ones before I got to a color they had in stock. Tech was absolutely annoying. Asian lady whose husband helps her get water ready and grabs polish. She would slap you hand away if you tried to scratch your leg then would giggle like it was funny. The salon is very clean and the staff are friendly. They have a huge selection of nail polish colors. Our nail techs were both very friendly and fun to chat with. Made an appointment for my daughter and I. My daughter was taken care of pretty quickly by a man. He did a great job. I waited 50 minutes after the scheduled appointment time to get in a chair. The woman told me the polish I wanted on my nails was not available so I had to pick another one. She said I should try no chip/dipped. She said they would match. They didn't. There was pink in my toes and a peach on my fingers. I really wanted clear in my finger nails but she convinced me to do the dipped. So I did. On my toes, four of the nail color fell off after two days on my toes!! A 5th one fell completely off the next day. They used the Dremel to take off the cuticles on my fingernails and toenails. It was $215 for 2 manicures and 2 pedicures. Not worth it!!!! read more

This is the first time I've gone to a nail salon in 2 years and most likely my last ever again. I wanted to get my nails done for vacation and just had the worst experience. The tech was nice for the most part but halfway through I noticed streaks, uneven lines, lumps, and worst of all black hairs all throughout the polish. I had to point out the black hairs and she mentioned me washing my hands, which I already did after filing? It's almost like she was ignoring the fact they were there. She then proceeded to just file down the spots on the white (thumb and ring finger) with the black hairs and paint over them in lumps, but there was still hairs under the clear on my left hand. This was 30 or 40 minutes into her starting, and she starts to grind the polish off my left hand after I told her for a third time there's hairs in my polish (noticeable BLACK hairs). She only ground off 3/4ths of it and was about to start painting them again!! I just let her know I was just going to go and asked if I needed to pay anything. She said no, but I still feel the need to share these pictures so others don't have to go through the same experience. She cut my finger too which I get happens but never said anything about it or tried to get it to stop bleeding. Just overall bad. read more

If you don't want to read the full review. Read this: Don't go to NV Nail unless you want to experience an extremely unprofessional work environment and leave with horrible nails that will not last. I had an appointment Thursday 9/14 at 4:30 pm. I got there and they got me started right away and the man did a good job on the design that I requested, but those were the only positives from the experience. Shortly after getting started, the receptionist's boyfriend arrived and the man that was doing my nails requested that he go and buy them alcohol, so he did. When he got back 6 out of the 8 workers there began drinking alcohol which is wildly unprofessional. (The man doing my nails did not.) They brought the alcohol out in the main room and were being very loud and obnoxious about drinking. I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. The man finished my nails and after I left I realized how horrible they looked. Bubbles in the paint, totally different shapes, my thumb nails different lengths, half of the tips aren't fully connected to my nails so they were already starting to come off, and the polish was already chipped off. I didn't want to go back and experience that again, but I paid $78 dollars. I called the salon Wednesday 9/20 to request a refund. After sending the owner, Brandy, pictures of my nails she said I could get a refund. First, she requested that I send her a picture of my credit card, to which I said no. She offered me to come in after 5pm on Friday 9/22, but I worked until 10pm. Today, 9/23, I called and asked if I could come in to get my refund. The person that answered the phone said the receptionist wasn't there and I wouldn't be able to come in. Then she told me I wouldn't be able to get a refund. I explained that Brandy, the owner, already approved it and I'm not sure why I needed to go into all the details again. She proceeded to tell me that she was also the owner, it did concern her, and I needed to be nice to her. She tried to tell me I wouldn't be able to get a full refund, and then tried to tell me I couldn't get a refund regardless because it had been past 3 days. In the end, she did give me a full refund and she was able to do it over the phone, without a texted picture of my card, without me going in, and without the help of the receptionist. I do appreciate NV Nails making it the situation right. However, I will never recommend this salon and will always recommend going somewhere else. I'm read more

My sister and I came in together for walk-in pedicures because it was a special place we used to go with our mom before she passed away. I haven't been here in many years. We walk in and 7-8 employees are sitting in the pedicure chairs on their phones. We figured it was their break time, that's fine. They assign us to two chairs and get started. Then all of a sudden, all the other employees are yelling at the employee starting my pedicure because she has an appointment coming in. Literally YELLING. She is arguing with them that it's not her appointment, so they bring the big appointment book calendar to her. AND THEN SHOVE IT IN MY FACE.. to tell me I have to wait because she has an appointment. I just got here?? How is it my fault? And THEN, a male employee points his finger at me and says "YOU have to wait!" First of all, I completely understand I was a walk-in and come second to appointments. I wouldn't have minded waiting. But the way this was handled was so unprofessional and stress inducing. The whole atmosphere in there was tense and the employees kept bickering the entire time! I came to relax and remember times with my mom, and there was NO relaxing. The only reason I didn't walk out was because they had already started the service for my sister so we tried to salvage the time together and laugh it off. The quality of pedicure ended up being fine. But absolutely do not go here if you want to relax, they clearly have a very unhealthy, unprofessional work culture among their staff. read more

Just don't waste your time here and listen to the bad reviews you've read. I read so many and thought it can't be that bad. Whoops. had an appointment and as soon as I sat down the owner kept trying to sell other services to my daughter and I. We sat down and the clean up on my nails was 15 seconds. A quick pass with the drill and that was it on each nail. Absolutely no cuticle clean up (which I have bad cuticles that you can see in my photos) so I knew this could turn out bad just from this. I've had my nails done enough to know this wasn't right. Got to the acrylic part and it was clear acrylic, not pink like the nails, which I have had plenty of times so you couldn't see my natural nail underneath and be able to do the desired design, I asked will that be clear in the end. He said no I'll put polish on to cover up, so I went with it, one coat of a light pink polish covered nothing and they looked the same, so he started tipping them and they were thick tips and when I pointed it out he said your nail beds are too small. Yes I do have very small nail beds but when I get designs other places they have always used a natural looking pink acrylic powder so you couldn't see where my nail started underneath. If I showed a pic of what I wanted other salons have matched it, without pointing out my small nail beds after they have started and telling me they can't do it. The end result you can see, messy messy cuticles, then flooded cuticles with fell polish cause the tips looked so bad I had him just paint my whole nail with each color, and the nails themselves are lumpy and bumpy. Super unhappy with it the next day, I always wait to see how I feel on day 2, I called to see what they could do if they could give me a refund because I was very unhappy they said they want to just "fix them" I could t come there for that and they said we are very busy right now and couldn't stay on phone and I had to come in or there was nothing they could do. I have been going here for quite a while and never have any problems, but yesterday i went in to get a full set and i had asked for my current acrylics to be soaked off. She sat me down in the chair and didnt soak them, she took a piece of acrylic nail and dug it under my nail trying to pop it off and ended up taking my real nail with it she proceeded to try and tear the nail off and i had to tell her to not touch it anymore and then she tried to do it to the rest of my nails and i told her again i wanted them soaked off, she soaked them off and apologized but now im missing a nail and still had to pay for the service. Pedicure on Mother's Day. Wasn't bad, wasn't good. Scalding hot water, Lasted all of 10 minutes and costed nearly $50 and still tried to update for gel polish. Looking for a pedicure where they actually take care of the cuticles instead of just nipping away at the residue the product creates. Seems like the standard these days. I get being short staffed like 90% of Branson. In a tourist town, a sucky attitude like that will get you nowhere. What a mistake going here! I got the classic pedicure it lasted maybe all of 20 minutes and I had to file them more later myself (this after asking while there to round corners more)! my husband asked for the one with hot stone ,tech couldn't speak English, he also got same crappy 20 minute "Classic"..... While visiting family out of town my boyfriend and I decided to relax with a pedicure. NV Nails is conveniently located at the Landing shopping center. The technicians are all super welcoming. The one who greeted us helped me decide on the honey spa pedicure. The smells of the soak were amazing. They were very attentive and seemed skilled at their trade. The massage chairs were heaven but the best was the hot stone massage. I will definitely be adding that to my list of must do when I'm back in town. My daughter and I visited from out of state. The place was clean and inviting. A lady at the front was friendly and welcoming when we came in. The worker assigned to me was obviously in a terrible mood - huffing and sighing the entire time, and her mannerisms were that of someone frustrated and put off. My daughter had the sweetest lady working with her. She spoke so kindly to each of us and seemed happy. The pedicures start around $35 but my lady instantly tried to sell me on the milk and honey ($62) pedicure. When I declined, she seemed mad about it. They only provide shellac colors to look at after you've been seated, then let you know shellac is $15 more, each. Where we are from - you choose your color first. We are used to workers who take their time, massage your feet and calves and making sure your cuticles are addressed. They didn't really do any of that. The polish does look great but the over all experience was not a worth the $57 each that it cost. Enjoyed the day with my girl but I'm not sure it would be worth a second chance. read more
