We got the best relaxation couples massage. Best massage we have ever had! Highly recommend.

My husband and I could not have been more pleased with our couples massage this afternoon. We booked the 90 minute couples massage that included collagen treatment for hands and feet; back scrub/mask; and hot stones on the back. Our therapists took such good care of us. I am mobility challenged and can't be on my stomach, so started on my back with a bolster under my legs and then help getting on my side. So caring and kind! My massage therapist didn't have to ask me what hurt because she zeroed on on every spot very quickly and worked lots of kinks and tightness out. My husband and I were both puddles when we were done. He did fall asleep during the massage. I almost fell asleep about 4 times but thought I can't do that this feels so fantastic I don't want to miss a single sensation. Super clean and on time. Me and my wife booked the couples package, and we made an attempt to book online but the website was down so we booked via the phone for the package we wanted and the staff said on the phone that the package included a "90 minute massage" with no other context. We added the $15 hot stones to our existing massage appointment. During the massage itself after the scrubs and facial part of the package, when they started the massage portion of the appointment and begun to use the hot stones and used them for the entirety of the back portion even though this should have only been an add on not a substitution for actual massage work. This was very disappointing for multiple reasons. One, when I was able to get my phone to pull up the website, the packages for 60 minute massages say it is a "Swedish massage" however any package for massage a that is 90 minutes is listed as a "relaxation" massage as if this is a normal term and as if a customer is supposed to know that when you receive a relaxation massage it is not any kind of Swedish massage to work on knots, tight muscles, or muscle pain. Fast forward to mentioning our experience to the staff after the appointment we were told it was an extra $15 for deep tissue (not on the website it was scribbled in pen on the paper menu) and that our package was only for a 90 minute relaxation massage and not Swedish (again who would know the difference between those except the staff) i have never been to a massage business that used the term "relaxation" massage without telling us what it means in comparison to deep tissue or Swedish. So not only did we pay extra for the couples package, extra for the hot stones that took over the appointment, but we didn't receive a normal massage but a "relaxation" massage. (We were also told that only one staff member who doesn't work today does deep tissue so we wouldn't have been able to do it even if we wanted to) The staff did not offer any kind of compensation for the lack of communication and misleading website and menu listings other than a bottle of lotion, what a joke. read more

This is our 2nd visit to Branson, and we returned to this wonderful massage place. The staff is so friendly and listens to what you want. We have gotten couples massages both times, and the room is very relaxing. Massage therapists were so good and I felt much better afterwards. They have good specials online, but you need to make an appointment. I did so online and it was simple and I got a response within a day. The pedicurist wasn't working yet-not until April. That was a little disappointing since we got one last time, but we knew ahead of time. The massage was amazing and we would go back again! read more

We'd never been here before, and were so happy to find a small, quiet place with friendly staff to have this time together. We had a fantastic experience! Sabrina and Paula were both excellent. We were able to book a 2hour couple massage within 2days of contacting the spa. It was a 90 min massage, 30 min facial and foot/back exfoliation special with aroma therapy for $320. SO WORTH IT! My massage therapist was Tatiana and my husband 's was Paula. Both were professional and it was nice to relax away from the kids. Was travelling for the weekend and got an appt the next morning for a wax after calling and leaving a message - I had no faith I'd get a call back or that I would get an appt. on such short notice. Tatiana (I believe?) did my brazilian wax - the spa was clean, relaxing. Tatiana was so friendly and made the whole experience as easy and painless as possible. I don't know that I'll be back in the Branson area anytime soon, but I would definitely recommend City Spatique for waxing! read more

After spending 15 minutes reiterating to the girl on the phone when I booked that I needed a lot of focus on my lower back and hips since I'm later term in my pregnancy otherwise I wasn't going to book. She assured me that I'd get focus there because prenatal massages are supposed to work those areas. Not once did the therapist even touch my hips! She rubbed over my lower back with next to no pressure at all. I left paying way too much for a service that just dehumanized me further (if you've ever been pregnant, you know what I'm talking about). If you're looking for a generic experience with a massage therapist that doesn't care about anything but getting you're service over with, this is the place for you. But if you're actually looking to pay good money for a massage that is going to make you feel better, DO NOT go here. read more

My wife found City Spatique on the Internet during our visit to Branson, and we were not disappointed. Because, unfortunately, there is no locker room, changing room or shower. Granted, City Spatique is a day spa, and we understand that all day spas have limitations. My sister and I treated ourselves to the "Mother & Daughter" pkg, and made it sister & sister pkg! What a wonderful afternoon we had. Our hour long massages were in separate rooms as we requested. We later both agreed that our massages were wonderful! Soft music playing, comfy tables, and no chit chat!! Just complete relaxation. We had facials, back exfoliations , the sat nxt to each other on massaging chairs while we enjoyed our relaxing pedicures! Very relaxing. I am used to starting with massage followed by facial so you don't put your freshly cleansed face into the massage bed.. however I must say the cleansing facial was very nice and helped with my sinuses for the moment. Loved this place! My husband and I are visiting for our BabyMoon and we did a 90 min couples massage with a prenatal for myself. They opened up their store on their normal closed day with so many requests for the weekend. That just shows these people truly care about customer service! The massage room was so relaxing and the massage was heavenly!
