I just went to Color Nail's with my aunt, sister, and niece yesterday. We had an amazing experience! Their shop is clean. They had all 4 of us out in an hour and a half. They did 4 pedicures, 1 fill, a gel manicure and 2 face waxes. Our nails look beautiful, but I wanted to brag on Tina. She did my pedicure. I get painful ingrown toenails around my big toes. I'm not sure what type of voodoo she did. She took care of my ingrown toenails with barely any pain. Today, my toes don't hurt at all and look beautiful! Quite disappointing. Unexpected charges are the most frustrating however, when receiving a pedicure with a lotion massage, they do not remove the lotion from your toe nails prior to applying polish, causing the polish to bubble within a few hours. What looks to be "nice" ends up being a mess. They become frustrated because you don't want to spend the extra $15 for gel polish.....the same gel polish is $5 for a manicure and $10 for acrylics. They lost my business! I've been getting pedi's here for the past year. The last one was really bad (uneven nails, chipped nails after a couple of days, etc.) The kicker is: I made an appt with Toi for a full-set; Appt was @ 5:30 pm. I know he was told I was there. He was finishing up a pedi , which is fine. Then he went and started a fill with another customer. OK, I understand you can run late. At 5:50 another customer walked in and low-and-behold he called her back leaving me just sitting there. Thanks for wasting my time! I really appreciated the fact that Toi began on my nails and immediately identified the type of nails I have (the curve), he didn't start up selling me anything which was a huge plus. As Toi was working on my nails he began to explain this and that to me regarding the condition of my nails, I agreed with EVERYTHING, still NO up charge or pressuring outta what I simply came in for. Yup, my guard's where up because IT happens quite often, nail techs will say "You have a nail about to spit or your nail is lifting" before you know it a $45 walking is now $75 because of the length, color, size, width, hight, shape , shoes ect! And there's how a situation happens! Y'all know that's how they do. I wouldn't come back here for a free promo! We are in town for a quick get away, my wife wanted to be nice to my daughter and get her nails done. We should have known it was going "South" with the call to check their time. We called at 520pm, and a snobby lady, rudely goes "Weeelllll what time is it" my wife responds "Almost 5:30..." cut off by the lady and goes "well yaaaaaa we can then cause we are open"( this lady hates her job and complained about customers and her co workers in front of customers, as we find out later) We walk to the location and see several techs work, Mu daughter wanted her nails dipped and a camo design which she was told no by "Snobby" another tech through an interrupter said he couldn't do it either. Said they wouldn't do a dip because it is not strong as a fake nail but still no camo. The kicker they had camo nails in their display case. My daughter ended up some awful white color that looks like it came from a $1 Shop, which is fine because while it's money down the drain because they wouldn't listen, my daughter will have to remove them before practice in a few days. My daughter is in competitive gymnastics and cannot have long nails thus why we wanted a dip,NOT fake. Additionally the "Snobby" lady complained the entire time we were there about everything. Unfortunately because of barriers I am not sure if the staff completely understand what she is saying. Let me start by saying I'm from Texas where nail salons have beautiful chandeliers, large flat screen TVs, stocked bars and it's more of an experience. If you're not used to all of this then consider my review a 4 star rating. Salon was very plain Jane. Two tiny TVs on the walls were off. It was clean though which is obviously super important. Now, let's talk masks. There was a sign on the door mentioning that they were required, I assumed it said under government mandate. Some of you will be happy to know that masks are completely optional. Several technicians were maskless and guests seemed very happy to go maskless as well. That said, we choose to wear our masks in public, especially when interacting in close proximity. I'm this salon there is no plexiglass divider or any kind of barrier so you can literally share breathing space here if you'd like. Our technician was respectful and after asking my 13 year old if she wanted to wear her mask (I responded yes for my child) she went and put one on also. My daughter and I had pedicures and they were great. The massage chairs were in great condition. Overall, if it were not a pandemic and I wasn't used to our local posh salons my rating on nails alone and cleanliness would've been a solid 4.5 stars. read more

I came in for a pedicure. Lam was my technician. He started out friendly enough, but he needs some TRAINING on cutting cuticles!!! I have never had someone actually HURT me! I accidentally jerked my foot away 3 times. He cut my toe and stabbed me more than a few times. My toe still hurts this morning. When he was finished painting my toenails, he said, "sit here." Then he left, went to the back and didn't return. After 15 minutes, l asked another tech where he was. He was told to ring me out. The lady there told me he doesn't speak English. I told her someone should have told me l was done. No one offered me any apology for having me sit and wait for so long. I will never go back! So my experience was so bad at this place, so I walked in and they told me it was gonna be 30 to get my pedicure, there was at list 7 people in front of me and I didn't believe that they were gonna be done in that short time, I waited for 1 hour and half till I finally was seated at the pedicure station, they have a obvious problem overbooking costumers, then I asked the nail tech if she wanted me to soak my gel polish on my toes so it will be quicker for her and she told me no, when finally she seated in front of me with A DRILL!!! However, when we got there, they weren't able to serve all 3 of us simultaneously, and only did two of us at one time and the third person had to wait 45 minutes before being served. They did, however, let the third person sit in the massage chair and soak her feet while she waited. We appreciated that.
