My daughters and I were visiting Branson on vacation, and decided to get pedis/ manis for some pamper time. I looked up nearby nail salons, and decided to call this one. She was able to get me and my 2 daughters an appointment in just one hour from when I called, which was fabulous! And upon arrival, several employees greeted us and were very friendly and welcoming. We had 3 different employees (one each), and they were all very sweet, professional, and gave us just what we wanted. The salon was clean, in a great area but with easy parking, and we have nothing bad to say. I recommend this salon if you live in the area, or are just visiting! read more

I'm here visiting and my darn nail broke. I called the desk and the place they referred me does not do dip nail. I called around a bit, finally! Quincey took me as an appt. He is new to this salon but did dip powder nail in Texas. Only 2 in Branson do them?!? He originally was doing it differently than I'm used to but ended up just doing the French manicure in powder 100%. Ladies-this is the person to go to for dip. He said most do acrylic here? Why?? So much harder on your nails. Very reasonable, pleasant. Only suggestion is: boy is this a smoking salon-meaning a lot of their people smoke and I don't like the smoke smell at all. I have gone here since 2000. It was good then, but is now under new ownership. They do NOT stand by their work?! I have spent 100's of dollars this year, going from red to blonde. I went here to get lowlights, after finally getting my hair to a gorgeous platinum. The stylist put toner on my hair and turned it an ashy gray?! I came back the next day to have her restore my blonde. All she did was put a different toner on it, but my beautiful blonde hair was gone? Then... she went on vacation for a week, so the owner said I had to wait for her to get back, before he would refund my money?! My hair is ruined, and they didn't even care to fix it...without saying they would need to charge me MORE money?! Finally, they refunded my money, but...the manager told me they would not be providing any services to me in the future?! I was a customer at this location for 23 years, and then... goodbye?! What happened to the integrity of doing your job well, taking pride in your work, and caring about fixing a problem you created?! I am truly disappointed to see what this place has become. Well one of my family members actually recommended this to me and my family. the first 2 people who worked with me were great, this was in fact my first time getting acrylics so i had no knowledge of what to do and they explained it clearly. the second person who worked with me, the guy, was very sweet and kind, but ended up cutting my cuticle and it hurt very badly. when i moved on to the painting job. this was a much younger girl which gives no excuse, but she was super sweet, but her painting job was awful!!!! mine didn't come out as bad as my sisters, but my sisters we took off with non-acetone nail-polish remover. all in all i think this place is okay, but the nail painter really needs to work on the paint jobs read more

I wish I could give zero stars to this "business". Our woman who did our toes was great and friendly but their polish is WATERED DOWN! I sat under their light for 20 minutes and waited an additional 45 minutes until I put my shoes and socks on and it STILL SMUDGED. I called the following day explaining the situation and the owner CHRISTINE, tried to tell me it was my fault?! They seem great when you're there but their overall service is ran cheaply and unprofessionally. Absolutely the worst manicure I've ever had. The tech was not paying attention, talking with others, and cutting my fingers with his long nails. He caked the polish on and that caused it to be so thick it smudged. I have 6 nails messed up now. The owner or cashier was so beyond rude and charged me 5 dollars more for having the nail fixed. I told I was not paying that and she threw the money at me. I would not recommend this place at all! Horrible service and absolutely NO customer service. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

Ive been here twice and saw Gabby both times. First for a pedicure, which was fantastic. But her true magic is with bleach! She did phenomenal babylites all over. She is very educated in her field. Shes easy to talk to. And she made sure we were on the same page throughout the entire session. Best of all, she was able to deliver exactly what i asked for. I got a mani and pedi. The man that was doing my nails popped up every few minutes to get customers as they came in and to answer the phone. As a result, he left rough edges on my nails. Not a busy place so I was able to get right in. Double-checked the menu of prices posted before I committed. I stayed with my initial idea of polish change on hand and polish change on feet. Menu said: POLISH CHANGE $6 (and up). Of course I know better going into these places, but tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Started with feet: polish on, she asked if I wanted a design. I asked if it was $2, and she said $3 for one toe and $5 if I did both. Wow! That's a deal. Cuz who only wants a design on one toe?!? At that point, I asked if it would be $11, since $6+$5. Nope. Here's where the first "(and up)" comes in. Feet polish change is actually $10, so it would be $15 with design. When I pointed out what the menu said, the man explained that toes fell under the "(and up)" and it was indeed $10. I declined adding the design. Next we move on to the hands. She finished up polishing (sadly not the best job I've ever seen) and wrote down my price: $10 for feet and $8 for hands. I again pointed out the menu. She tried to explain (obviously this is the second time "(and up)" strikes again), but got out from a hidden drawer the REAL price list, which perfectly explained that $6 was the kids polish price and the adult price was $8. Frankly that's the menu that I believe should be posted on the wall and not the "(and up)". read more

I came in this morning to get my nails done and im going to assume he was the owner or some form of management greeted me in kind of a monotone greeting tone and i had explained how i wanted my nails done before he began and had to change the original color i wanted to begin with. i have severe anxiety and throughout the time i was there he was yanking my hands telling me to relax im sorry but doing that to me will most definitely NOT help me relax it will only make my anxiety worse. when he was using the drill with the attachments there was a quite a few times he went too far and it caused a lot of pain and i even cringed when it happened and he did not seem to notice i still have pain in both of my hands and had to go to the ER due to this. and the price i was charged OMG it was ridiculous they charged me WAY more than what the service was worth if i could give this place no starts i most definitely would. the equipment they used was NOT properly sanitized. $60 for a terrible and pain filled experience i most definitely will NOT go there again and i highly recommend to save your money and go elsewhere or travel to one of the many nail salons in Springfield. read more

I have suffered three years of the worst nail techs imaginable in Springfield. So I tried Hair and Nail today for the first time. Was the best mani pedi I have had since leaving Fort Worth. Melissa took her time, as did the young woman who did my husbands pedi. He texted me later saying he felt like someone had transplanted his feet because they felt so good. I am thrilled with this place and will be calling for appointments with Melissa again. All the ladies were so kind. Oh and the man in there does jump up and down all the time to get payments, and answer personal as well as business calls. So better to wait for one of the ladies. The facility is average but the nail techs are very rude and choppy with their service. As one would expect in this type of a salon, you think you will be pampered but instead you get distracted workers who constantly keep chatting among themselves n the receptionist was their uninterested teenager who looks at you in disgust like your invading her private quiet time. They only want to get the job done quick so they can get the next customer. Try and talk you into purchasing expensive add ons for a simple nail polish application. I had bubbles in my polished nails after it was done. Came out of the salon with dusty hands coz the lady who did my nails didn't even care to clean my hand. I would not recommend this place nor even go back myself. Even if I am paying 100 or 10 bucks for a service, you better give me respect and pleasant customer service along with it. read more

It took longer than I expected, and then when I got home, I noticed my cuticles were hurting. He had put on the wrong size for some of my nails. Woke up the next morning with my fingers swollen. I received an extremely sloppy manicure and did not receive the top coat on my toe polish. The staff are very nice people, but they are sloppy and too quick. I left with parts of my nail beds not covered and bubbles in the polish. She also did my design terrible and left was not identical to the right. I could have done this myself better. read more

I have been here a few times and the girls have done a good job. My last time I got a ticket saying my color (highlights and low lights) was $185 and this is without hair cut or drying my hair. I guess every ounce of hair dye costs as much as liquid gold. I was never advised every time they were filling the bowls w hair dye it was costing me 20-30 dollars. My hair is not that long, just below my shoulders. I have never been charged this much at this place. The girls did a good job but I couldn't help feel a bit ripped off. If I am going to spend over $200 on hair (including tip) I expect a glass of wine and a back massage. I probably wont' come back. read more
