NuWave Pools recently repaired and replaced the vinyl liner in my pool. After waiting 2 months for another company to come out, I found NuWave and contacted Jay Preston, owner. I put in 3 liners on my own over 30 plus years. I still had a constant leak. I finally decided to have it professionally installed. These people spent 80% of their time prepping the pool (which I never did). They found faulty or no gaskets around the steps. They showed up when they said they would and gave me a great price. Called me to make the appointment to install when the weather changed and came out when he said. Everything went exactly as he told me. What a disaster. NuWave botched a simple plumbing repair and offered me a discount pool closing by way of apology. I accepted, and it's the worst mistake I've ever made with my pool. NuWave closed the pool improperly and water froze inside the return line and the pumping station. I had to replace the filter ($750), the return line ($2500), and mudjack the patio where the seeping water caused it to sink and crack ($600). NuWave is bonded and insured, and even admitted fault, but instead of making things right they offered to do the repair themselves. Obviously I'm not letting these people anywhere near my pool ever again. read more
