Justin McElheney was honestly amazing! His presentation was very thorough and detailed. Even a year after getting Nuvia, the customer service is above and beyond. I have the water softening system and the reverse osmosis alkaline drinking water. I don't know how I ever lived without Nuvia. My hair and skin feel so hydrated thanks to the soft water used to shower and the drinking water is also great! I highly recommend it. I am an advocate for making sure I get my daily water intake and in doing so I have had to endure some awful tasting water. Let's be honest we all know we need water to survive but we want it to taste good too. I have spent a lot of time and money searching for the right water that would hydrate my body and taste good. I like to think of myself as a water connoisseur. And in all my searching I did find good water but I was still looking for great water so the search continued. I wanted to remove all contaminates starting with E. coli, chlorine, parasites, fluoride, heavy metals, trihalomethane, petroleum, pesticides and more. I was also concerned with the alkalinity in my water I wanted to raise the PH level between 8 to 10 because I believe high alkalinity can help slow the aging process, and "we all want to stay young", regulate your body's pH level, and prevent chronic diseases like cancer. Sounds impossible right? We are very satisfied with our purchase of the Nuvia water system. We purchased the whole house filtration system for our 3k sq. ft home and the under the sink, two gallon reservoir alkaline system. It is most enjoyable to bathe and wash our hair with the water knowing that it is free of chlorine and other pollutants that are called additives as well as being able to dispense this same pure water from a tap with the extra benefit of it having a pH 9.0 and higher. The whole house system required a nearby electrical outlet that we did not have. The technician stated that it was customary to drill a hole through the house to access a nearby outlet on the inside of the house. As I did not want a hole drilled through our "brick" house, they sent over an electician by the name of Jeremy H from Allied Premium Electric to assess the situation. He was able to tap into a nearby electric junction and install an outlet where needed. All the workers from Nuvia and Allied Electric were very kind and courteous. In fact, we have called Jeremy H from Allied Electric to perform other work at our home. I highly recommend both of these companies for your water and electrical needs. read more

All I can say is wow! What a scam! No actual water test is performed... using a TDS meter to tell you the total dissolved solids is not a water test. The salesman or "water expert" will only perform the test if everyone in the house is watching or they won't do the test. Next they will repeatedly ask you questions about how would you feel about giving this cloudy water to you family and having them bath in it. Asking someone a stupid question like that repeatedly during what was suppose to be a free water test which is actually a long sales pitch with a heavy dose of guilt in front of your family if you don't buy in. Oh... also you pay for a lifetime supply of soap. All kinds of soap. Laundry detergent, bath soap, dish soap, etc... they want to lock you into a monthly contract. There are many ways to approach city water, hard water etc.. Dealing with this nonsense is not one of them. Yes we fell for the notices they sent when we bought the house. There notices were waiting in our mailbox like it was something important. Scammers! $9,500!!!!! read more

Horrible business practices! I am still waiting to hear from ERIC in customer service department from the Texas office. I have an open investigation with them for a year now and nothing has been resolved instead I have gotten the run around. I am over paying for a system my neighbors are paying thousands of dollars less than. Since I have not heard from any one at Nuvia in houston I started my own investigation and I have gathered several work orders from neighbors that purchased the same system, even identical work orders with significantly lower prices. Something is obviously wrong and they are not trying to solve or resolve this issue. I will be notifying my HOA this week of NUVIA's fraudulent marketing practices. They send new home owners neon color post cards URGING them to call because of water contamination, NOTHING states it's from NUVIA if fact they make it seem it's from the city by using neon post cards the same colors the city uses, when you call they gather your info and tell you they will send a technician out to test your water. As a chemist by degree and understanding TSS/TDS, pH indicators, etc. my sales person Osdward Rodriguez rushed through his presentaion couldn't really answer basic questions pertaining to water chemistry, his presentation and the indicators he was using. His equipment was soooo dirty I could see residue from previous presentations. The only reason I bought the system was because I already new about the water in Katy and a water softner system was on my to do list. I'm paying $11,500 and my neighbors are paying $6,200, $5,800 and around that margin. I have collected 2 work order receipts from neighbors and I'll be collecting more! read more

The equipment and drinking water are awesome. I've noticed a huge difference in my water quality and my family's skin from having soft water. It was definitely a wise and great investment after buying my 1st house just recently. I did have a a number of issues during the installation progress that was awful and a bit stressful. However, the company did try to make up for the issues and were completely nice. I wish more could have been done due to some damage to my cabinet that will never be the same. I've accepted it but wish it did not happen. I am glad I went through with getting the system even with all the issues. I know the company said they are working to improve the issues I experienced. Justin Mcelhaney was the water specialist that came to my house. He is extremely informative and a true specialist with the amount of information that he knows. Any question I had he was able to give me a thorough and prompt answer. Hs was easy to understand and didn't make me feel pressured at all, he really does have a passion for pure clean Water. I can already feel the difference in the water but he came back out and did another test today to make sure the quality was good. I got a water softener for the entire house so even my hose when I water my car will be a spot free rinse without needing to be dried.we no longer have to squeegee the shower either... Our skin and hair quality are much better with the hard minerals taken out. We also got a reverse osmosis system for filtering our drinking water which filters out matter that is .0002 microns or bigger. But I was worried that there wouldn't be any beneficial minerals in the water with it being so pure so he added an alkaline filter as well to bring the ph up to 9.5 and it's the most delicious water you could ever taste, the same as the expensive alkaline water youd by in the store. Since I drink a lot of water this will actually save money, not to mention the 3 years of cleaning supplies they throw in for free. read more

When it came to brass tax he didn't give us the grand total and we ask for the total and gave us a different number. Once we said yes to the whole deal without knowing the grand total they install the equipment before signing any type of paper. So by doing so, we are trap by keeping their services without agree on the price or pay a big cancellation fee. Mind... BLOWN! My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting our water specialist, Myron McVea. Myron was very prompt and direct with facts about the "water" we currently receive from our city. Not only did he educate us about what's in the water, but he did so by proving it to us through different water tests. We even had the kiddos sit down with us to watch, it was very interesting and fun, but mostly saddening and unpleasant to find out how bad our water actually is! Even the water that we thought was good coming from the fridge, was just as bad as the tap! Not only were we drinking this stuff, but we bathe and wash our clothes in it! Arrrrgh! And the worst part..... The government, doctors and plumbers know how bad the water is and they still don't say anything! It's all about the money people, open up your mind! It's called job security! Fortunately we had Myron as our specialist. He did such a wonderful job with explaining everything, and you could tell he wasn't in it for the money, he just wants to help others live a healthy life.
