I just wanted to post a high recommendation of your employee Delvon- my husband had booked an appointment for free water testing, without knowing that I'd used a water softener system in the past and hated it. So he walked into a house that by all accounts WAS NOT interested. Turns out, I just didn't understand how they worked and what benefits come from having one installed. Delvon was great at explaining everything in a way that was educational to us both, and we are so glad that we let him walk us through the benefits of installing a system in our brand new home. I had a bad experience with Nuvia water technologies, Incorporated. The sales person stated the monthly payments would be $135-$145 a month and rushed me into installation within a couple of days. Later I received the financing terms which were substantially higher.(Like $23.000). I did not agree to the terms and did not proceed to sign Financing. I notified Nuvia that I wished to cancel. Nuvia now wants me to pay out of pocket to have the system removed. I have tried to communicate with Nuvia, but they are unwilling. Nuvia should not have installed the system until financing was agreed upon and signed, which I did not! Now they will not remove the system without trying to make me pay. read more

Scam horrible company just in debt 8k and i have to fix what they messed up to my house

The after service blows for Nuvia. We had our system installed in October 2023. We recently noticed some sediments from our drinking water faucet installed by Nuvia. As this is not what we expect to see from their purification system, we then called their service hotline 800.838.0028. I was told by their representative that service should've been scheduled for us on the 18th month of the system being installed, which never happened. We were also told that we will need to pay 250 per year to replace our purification system filters. I have a couple of issues with this: 1. They missed our 18th month service by 5 months (they didn't even schedule us for one yet) 2. They didn't mention anything about the 250 yearly payment during their sales presentation. One of the talking points they had was about the "savings" we will get with their system installed and this was NEVER mentioned. The customer service representative was supposed to give me a call back after speaking to a manager but that call didn't happen. We received a notice in our mail that says NOTICE OF PARCEL ON HOLD with a parcel number on it. Initially, it looked a bit fishy, but I decided to still call the number on the notice. When I called the number, it was not a postal or delivery company like I thought, but this company called Nuvia Water. They wanted to schedule an appointment to come and check out my water line and essentially sell me their product. This is an instant turn-off to me, because this type of marketing is deceiving and predatory. There was no parcel on hold for me, this was just a way for them to get me to contact them and if I scheduled an appointment I would receive my parcel and gift card. I cannot speak to the quality of the service they provide, but if this is the means they rely on to get new customers, in my opinion this is not a good reflection of the company. I would hope to hear by word of mouth or by reputation about the services this company provides, but instead I receive a deceiving notice, as well as look on Yelp to see other people with similar experiences. read more

Nuvia provided great service at one point, not sure what has caused the turnaround with poor customer service. But a pc pipe that they installed busted. So they charged me to come out and repair the weak PC pipe. They fixed the pipe, but never turned the water system back on. In addition, I gave the guy discover card and i guess he didnt know how to charge it and never charged me. So i call today, to advise them about the repair man never turned my service on and they told me that had to charge me to have repair guy to come out to turn my service on. I explained to her that I did not appreciate the post cards they send in the mail which have the appearance of coming from the USPS. A phone conversation with the company's representative constitutes a clear cause to provide a customer review based upon my experiences. This review should not be flagged for the simple reason I did not purchase their business products further. Ron, the founder, visited our home and showed us things we didn't even know we had in the house! He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and extremely friendly. His honesty and integrity in telling us we realistically didn't need to do anything blew me away. He could have easily told us we needed to replace this and that and made money off of unsuspecting customers, but he did not. This earned my respect. While we did not use their full service (yet), we will definitely consider Ron and his team for any future water treatment needs in our home. Didn't have it, sent me a link to fill out a form and said will receive the card digitally. Not true. The link doesn't work, I have called 3 times within last two months, they keep saying someone from customer will call to resolve the issue. No one has called. They lure their way into your home with falls promises. Sales person came to my home in 2022 and made all the promises. They would follow up with me for the services and then retest the water to make sure it's working. After I bought the $10k system. The sales man ghosted me. After the first year they did call me to schedule the first service. The tech came, did the service and took my payment. All good, so I thought. I recently noticed my water pressure dipping in the house and realized I haven't heard from Nuvia since 2023 and the system probably needs a service. I first called after business hours and had to leave a message. No call back. I called again today. 7/10/2025. They tell me I still owe them $300 from the service they did two years ago. I explain I paid the tech. Was told their system doesn't show that. I ask when the invoice was sent? I'm then told, because they had a change of system, they didn't bill me until 10 months later in July of 2024. I point out that it's wild that they are saying I didn't pay the tech, but it took them 10 months to invoice me? Didn't matter, I have to now go to my bank and find the payment from two years ago that their tech stole. They lied to me during the sale and then their tech stole from me. The contract doesn't allow to pay off the principles, but payment toward total interests of total 12 years loan first. Bad contract. Nothing like mortgage loan and annuities. I called the number on their annoying mailers, and the person who picked up was trying to lure me to book an appointment for water testing. I very kindly asked to be removed from their mailing list, and she continued to pitch to me. I politely reiterated my request to be removed and wished her a nice day, and she said nothing to confirm that my wish had been respected, nor did she properly say goodbye, just hung up. Nothing against her, I'd be grumpy to have that job too, but this is just such a waste of everyone's time. They solicit you, ask you to call them, ask for private information, access to your private home and your precious time, with a shady carrot dangling on the end of a stick, and then they ask YOU to wait on the phone while they "look up your info." They market themselves via a scam (seriously, it's on news sites and Snopes, you can look it up). Then in my direct interaction with them they had poor customer service. They send you a mailer saying "NOTICE OF PACKAGE ON HOLD" with a fake parcel number, exhorting you to "CALL WITHIN 3 DAYS OF NOTICE." Other reviews mention this as well, especially the ones Yelp hides. Their response is "yeah well other companies do this, too." Does that make it any better? If I complained about a mobster hitting my knees with a wrench and they said, "Yeah well Bobby 'Knee Buster' Piccatori does it, too!" is it OK then? After speaking with them it seems they are just trying to sell water systems. If your water systems are good, why not let them speak for themselves? Why try to lure people in with a supposed package on hold that you only have three days to call about? Why not put your company name on these mailers? Lemme guess, you're going to reply with some BS about how it's not a scam, you're trying to be ecologically friendly by not sending all homeowners some package for water testing. I received the same fake postcard on my door, thinking I had missed a package that arrived before we moved into our new home. I also received ANOTHER fake post card/"service notice". This one was all yellow, and from a company called Hague Quality Water out of Bellflower. The owners name there is Paul. Both Hague, and Nuvia are running the same fake "missed delivery" scam mailer scheme. Then you call in, they ask you about your home/people in it, and want to make an appointment for a water consult. I've read numerous other sites saying they come out and give a bogus report about your water, etc. BEWARE. Business practices like this are only done by people/companies you DO NOT want to be in business with. Just sketchy all around. Pretty frustrated with the whole thing, and will be reporting to the BBB, as well as our HOA. We did not make a purchase, but we wanted to leave a review specifically for Hector Ovalle. He was extremely friendly and professional from the time we called to schedule our consultation to his check-ins to confirm the appointment and finally the actual day of the appointment. He thoroughly explained everything during our consultation and gladly answered all of our questions while doing his presentation and water analysis at the same time. Overall, Hector was definitely the most professional and friendly out of all the folks who gave our free consultations, especially around not making us feel dumb around basic questions while being good on time and keeping things straight to the point without pushing us on any sales. Although we did not make a purchase simply due to a competing bid that we couldn't pass up, we'd recommend at least giving Nuvia a shot and if you can, working with Hector as your representative for the experience alone. Our neighbors have both Nuvia and other competitors in the area and seemed comfortable recommending all of them (which is how we got Hector's number in the first place), so it seems like you can't go wrong from a product standpoint and should go with what makes you most comfortable and whatever is a good deal for you. Nuvia was not the most expensive out of all our quotes, but they definitely were not the cheapest. With all of the above in mind, we'd love to give Hector a 5 out of 5 for the rep/service experience alone, but because we didn't purchase and are unable to comfortably comment on the actual experience of the product and the follow-up service, we left it at a 4 for now. read more

Marcellus explained what each item was, quizzed me on my knowledge (I'm a closet nerd, so it was fun for me.), provided references online for me to read and review, and options for when I am ready to purchase.
