I just wanted to post a high recommendation of your employee Delvon- my husband had booked an appointment for free water testing, without knowing that I'd used a water softener system in the past and hated it. So he walked into a house that by all accounts WAS NOT interested. Turns out, I just didn't understand how they worked and what benefits come from having one installed. Delvon was great at explaining everything in a way that was educational to us both, and we are so glad that we let him walk us through the benefits of installing a system in our brand new home. Scam horrible company just in debt 8k and i have to fix what they messed up to my house

The after service blows for Nuvia. We had our system installed in October 2023. We recently noticed some sediments from our drinking water faucet installed by Nuvia. As this is not what we expect to see from their purification system, we then called their service hotline 800.838.0028. I was told by their representative that service should've been scheduled for us on the 18th month of the system being installed, which never happened. We were also told that we will need to pay 250 per year to replace our purification system filters. I have a couple of issues with this: 1. They missed our 18th month service by 5 months (they didn't even schedule us for one yet) 2. They didn't mention anything about the 250 yearly payment during their sales presentation. One of the talking points they had was about the "savings" we will get with their system installed and this was NEVER mentioned. The customer service representative was supposed to give me a call back after speaking to a manager but that call didn't happen. I tried calling different Nuvia numbers today and my call was never picked up. 951.444.0914 951.734.7400 I also tried calling the sales person who presented to us but it appears that the number no longer works. We received a notice in our mail that says NOTICE OF PARCEL ON HOLD with a parcel number on it. Initially, it looked a bit fishy, but I decided to still call the number on the notice. When I called the number, it was not a postal or delivery company like I thought, but this company called Nuvia Water. They wanted to schedule an appointment to come and check out my water line and essentially sell me their product. This is an instant turn-off to me, because this type of marketing is deceiving and predatory. There was no parcel on hold for me, this was just a way for them to get me to contact them and if I scheduled an appointment I would receive my parcel and gift card. I cannot speak to the quality of the service they provide, but if this is the means they rely on to get new customers, in my opinion this is not a good reflection of the company. I called and spoke with a representative. We spoke for several minutes and I tried to ask what package they had being held for me. The rep tried to schedule me a water testing appointment. I explained to her that I did not appreciate the post cards they send in the mail which have the appearance of coming from the USPS. The cards state that you "have an unclaimed package to pick up which is being held." These business practices and behaviors are unprofessional and misleading to the public. This company also reported my previous review and had it removed citing the fact that I did not interact with them. In fact, this is a legitimate review based upon a direct interaction with this company. A phone conversation with the company's representative constitutes a clear cause to provide a customer review based upon my experiences. His honesty and integrity in telling us we realistically didn't need to do anything blew me away. He could have easily told us we needed to replace this and that and made money off of unsuspecting customers, but he did not. This earned my respect. While we did not use their full service (yet), we will definitely consider Ron and his team for any future water treatment needs in our home. After speaking with them it seems they are just trying to sell water systems. If your water systems are good, why not let them speak for themselves? Just noticed that my principal hasn't reduced much after making 13 payments and total $2500.... Loan amount / principle just went down by $500!!! The contract doesn't allow to pay off the principles, but payment toward total interests of total 12 years loan first. Bad contract. Nothing like mortgage loan and annuities. If I could give a negative number I would. From the District Sales Manager Gilbert, to the salesman John, to the installer Jose. Everyone of these men dropped the ball more then 1 time. This has to have been the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. Go somewhere else if you want a water softener, I had mine installed last Thursday, the install ran into the night, I had to go out in the rain to see what I will need to do. I asked if someone could come back on Friday and the installer said "no, it's easy come on". The installer left the big box the filters came in on the side of my house along with pipe that he used. This one was all yellow, and from a company called Hague Quality Water out of Bellflower. The owners name there is Paul. Both Hague, and Nuvia are running the same fake "missed delivery" scam mailer scheme. Then you call in, they ask you about your home/people in it, and want to make an appointment for a water consult. I've read numerous other sites saying they come out and give a bogus report about your water, etc. BEWARE. Business practices like this are only done by people/companies you DO NOT want to be in business with. Just sketchy all around. Pretty frustrated with the whole thing, and will be reporting to the BBB, as well as our HOA. Hopefully our HOA will send out an email or something regarding these fake mailers and sketch business tactics. Nuvia, and Hague out of Bellflower both operate this way. We did not make a purchase, but we wanted to leave a review specifically for Hector Ovalle. He was extremely friendly and professional from the time we called to schedule our consultation to his check-ins to confirm the appointment and finally the actual day of the appointment. He thoroughly explained everything during our consultation and gladly answered all of our questions while doing his presentation and water analysis at the same time. Overall, Hector was definitely the most professional and friendly out of all the folks who gave our free consultations, especially around not making us feel dumb around basic questions while being good on time and keeping things straight to the point without pushing us on any sales. Although we did not make a purchase simply due to a competing bid that we couldn't pass up, we'd recommend at least giving Nuvia a shot and if you can, working with Hector as your representative for the experience alone. Our neighbors have both Nuvia and other competitors in the area and seemed comfortable recommending all of them (which is how we got Hector's number in the first place), so it seems like you can't go wrong from a product standpoint and should go with what makes you most comfortable and whatever is a good deal for you. Nuvia was not the most expensive out of all our quotes, but they definitely were not the cheapest. With all of the above in mind, we'd love to give Hector a 5 out of 5 for the rep/service experience alone, but because we didn't purchase and are unable to comfortably comment on the actual experience of the product and the follow-up service, we left it at a 4 for now. read more

I need my system fixed and was able to book an appointment immediately. The service technician was friendly and professional.

I originally called in only because they sent a postcard telling us that we missed a parcel (and I happened to be waiting for a package). Once I realized it was a water company, that advertising tactic didn't really upset me since the person who answered said that a gift card was set aside for us and a free water test was offered. I thought that we had nothing to lose anyway to get our water tested and to find out more about water filtration systems and the costs. My husband pushed back one of his meetings so that both of us could be there for the appointment as they requested. A water specialist came to do our water test and was very clear in her presentation and did a great job showing us what was in our tap water vs our Brita filtered water vs clean (bottled, reverse osmosis) water. It was very eye-opening, and my husband refuses to drink Brita filter water now! My husband posted photos of our water test on Instagram and 2 of our friends also want to have their water tested now as well. We were convinced of the benefits of getting the reverse osmosis system and of Nuvia's being the best quality with a lifetime warranty, but because of the cost ($1,500), we weren't able to make the commitment that day. For new homeowners they offer free organic household products like soaps, laundry detergent, and cleaners rather than a discount to the price of the system, and is only given if purchasing the house water softening system ($5,000). We had just made some large purchases for appliances (and have some appliances that we still have to purchase), so we prefer to wait a few months down the line, but it was very informative! read more

I had a very poor experience with Nuvia and I received quotes from 3 different water filtration companies. A man named James Ramert told me he was the manager. I could tell he didn't want to be there and give me a presentation. He said other people were supposed to be working but they called off because of the rain. I could tell that he loves his family very much because he was talking about his wife the entire time (my contractor was there working in the house and he can confirm). James gave me the bare minimum about the water filter and was not transparent about the financing. He kept telling me that signing the papers did not mean that I was locked in and it was not a commitment... I learned that he was very wrong after speaking to the other two water companies. I called James to cancel the filtration installation system but he did not inform his technicians. Due to James' lack of empathy for me, I had a credit check on my record, a finance account that was almost opened and a lot of stress trying to cancel the installation and paperwork. I had to talk to three different departments and people in the company just to get it canceled and only 2 of the 4 people I spoke to seemed to even care. I tried calling James Ramert 3 more times to help resolve the issue but he never picked up the phone again or called me back. I'm sure the water filtration is a great product but if you want to be treated like a decent human being, I recommend picking another company. read more
