Now we can take a shower and drink clean water!

Devin came to install the water system and even though the job was difficult because the dirt was so hard he finished the job perfectly. He was a very kind and professional young man. He deserves a praise for his integrity for a job well done.

One of Nuvia's many barely-legal mailers designed to trick you into thinking it's a legit postal notice
    Scott S.

For Austin Texas area residents, the number 512-828-3323 is now one of the numbers used by these people as part of Nuvia's deceptive marketing tactics. Picture is one of their fake "parcel on hold" postcards. If you're reading these reviews because you want a good RO system, I happen to own one made by APEC Water Systems, made in the USA, and they charge about 1/10th what Nuvia does.

I called and spoke with a representative. We spoke for several minutes and I tried to ask what package they had being held for me. The rep tried to schedule me a water testing appointment. I explained to her that I did not appreciate the post cards they send in the mail which have the appearance of coming from the USPS. The cards state that you "have an unclaimed package to pick up which is being held." These business practices and behaviors are unprofessional and misleading to the public. The representative continued talking over me pretending as though they didn't do anything improper. This company also reported my previous review and had it removed citing the fact that I did not interact with them. In fact, this is a legitimate review based upon a direct interaction with this company. A phone conversation with the company's representative constitutes a clear cause to provide a customer review based upon my experiences. This review should not be flagged for the simple reason I did not purchase their business products further. I highly suggest they discontinue their unethical practices of mailing misleading fliers to the public. Many residents may not be able to readily identify that they are not legitimate. These business practices are extremely unfair.

Nuvia provided great service at one point, not sure what has caused the turnaround with poor customer service. But a pc pipe that they installed busted. So they charged me to come out and repair the weak PC pipe. They fixed the pipe, but never turned the water system back on. In addition, I gave the guy discover card and i guess he didnt know how to charge it and never charged me. So i call today, to advise them about the repair man never turned my service on and they told me that had to charge me to have repair guy to come out to turn my service on. So i asked, so you are charging me for something your repair man forgot to do. They responded with, unfortunately we have to.

Believe it or not, this is a company selling water filtration systems. Stupid...

They sent me a notice saying I had a parcel on hold, it looked suspect. Before I called I did some research, found that this is what they do, trick you into calling them. I won't ever purchase a product that way. What an ineffective way to market your company Nuvia. Whoever thought of this, then had someone approve it, has really questionable judgement as it relates to marketing.

    Scare tactic

Got this in the mail and thought it was suspicious . Gave it s call and it's not a package at all. It's this company wanting to come into my home go test my water and give me a gift card. The fact they use this to get you to call is terrible and a lame excuse for a company. Just send a real advertisement card not some phony parcel fake slip. Don't listen to them - it's just pushy sales people trying to make their quote.

Their marketing is a mail scam
    Austin B.

They market themselves via a scam (seriously, it's on news sites and Snopes, you can look it up). Then in my direct interaction with them they had poor customer service. They send you a mailer saying "NOTICE OF PACKAGE ON HOLD" with a fake parcel number, exhorting you to "CALL WITHIN 3 DAYS OF NOTICE." Other reviews mention this as well, especially the ones Yelp hides. Their response is "yeah well other companies do this, too." Does that make it any better? If I complained about a mobster hitting my knees with a wrench and they said, "Yeah well Bobby 'Knee Buster' Piccatori does it, too!" is it OK then? After speaking with them it seems they are just trying to sell water systems. If your water systems are good, why not let them speak for themselves? Why try to lure people in with a supposed package on hold that you only have three days to call about? Why not put your company name on these mailers? Lemme guess, you're going to reply with some BS about how it's not a scam, you're trying to be ecologically friendly by not sending all homeowners some package for water testing. If that's the case... just say so on the mailer! "Get your free water testing kit." What a disgrace.

Nuvia water systems is an ingenious system. Our water representative Melvin came out to our home. He was insightful, patient, and answered all my questions. I always ask a lot of question. He tested several water faucets in our home and explained the entire process. Not only was Melvin very informative but the Nuvia presentation is one of the best I've seen in a long time. Water is if life but it owners responsibility to provide the best water possible. Thank you Melvin

I spoke to the manager. He said to contact him about your area. Here's his info. His name is James Ramert 714 234 6955. Hope this helps.

Can anyone that works for this company give us a straight evaluation of the system that was already present in our house when we moved in (placed by previous owner)? We do not need the whole sales pitch, just need someone to look at it and explain.

Well I don't work for the company but it depends what system you have. If you got the salt less tank, all it does is remove the harsh contaminants from the water. Same with the salt tank. Only difference is the salt of course. If you got the 5 stage…

How the heck do i get new filters and why is my water from outdoors releasing a clear sticky film?

First of all, he was super quick to respond. Within 1 minute of sending out a request, he responded right away with a call. At the end, we decided to go with the DROP city smart water, which is a conditioner and water softening system. To go with it, we also opted for the RO installation. If you have extra to spend, definitely get the RO water. It's the waterdrop x12 and really expensive if you decided to get it on amazon and install it yourself. Installation took around 6-7 hours for everything and Ken takes time to explain how to use the system thoroughly. He answered all my questions on the spot. The price was extremely reasonable as well. Not saying it is cheap, but it is a great investment for your home. I already started feeling a difference washing my hands.

The lady that answered said she would forward my info to an Oscar. Oscar called me about an hour later and went over the entire system and the cost. His price was about $500-$1000 cheaper than local competitors. With good pricing and probably the best yelp reviews I decided to go with him. Installation was about a week later. The installer came around 11am and took about 8 hours to install the entire system. His install time too longer than originally quoted but I'm glad he took his time and didn't miss any steps. When it was all done he educated me on the entire system. It's pretty much a set it and forget it system except for maintaining certain salt levels. Within days I felt the difference in my skin. He took the time to explain everything to me in detail, answered all of my questions, and gave me a very competitive price compared with the other companies I spoke with. What I appreciated most about Chris was that I never felt like I was talking to a salesperson. He was straightforward, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely seemed interested in helping me choose the right setup for my house rather than just trying to sell me something. I came away from our conversation feeling like he was someone I could trust. Then Mario came out to do the installation, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. Mario was incredible. Our installation turned out to be more complicated than expected. The location we originally thought would work would have softened the water going to the outdoor hose bibs as well, which I specifically did not want because I use that water for my trees and landscaping. Mario caught this before doing the installation. Instead of just installing it where we originally planned and moving on, he stopped, explained exactly what he was seeing, and helped me figure out a better solution. He found another possible water line at the back of the house and told me he could test it first. He even reassured me that if we cut into the pipe and discovered that the plumbing wasn't routed the way we hoped, he would put everything back the way it was and wouldn't charge me for an installation that didn't work. That gave me a lot of confidence. We tested the line, and fortunately it turned out to be perfect. Within about 15 minutes, Mario was able to demonstrate exactly how the plumbing was divided: this line supplied the inside of the house, while the other line also supplied the outdoor hose bibs. That meant we could soften the entire house while leaving the outdoor water untreated, exactly how I wanted it. Mario was extremely patient, professional, knowledgeable, and just genuinely pleasant to work with. He could have easily taken the faster route, but instead he took the time to make sure the system was installed correctly for my house and my needs. That kind of attention and integrity is something I really appreciate. Between Chris taking the time to educate me and give me a fair price, and Mario going above and beyond during the installation, I couldn't be happier with my experience. Five stars without hesitation. I would absolutely recommend Sparkling Fresh Water, and a huge thank you to both Chris and Mario!

No big problems, just a series of small ones that led to a lot of inconvenience and a more cost on our end. 1. They were supposed to arrive at 10 a.m. on a Tuesday, but forgot. My son had taken the day off and had to take an additional day the next Thursday. We'd already been without hot water a week at that time. When my son finally called and asked when we could expect them, owner said he forgot about our appointment. Worried he might lose the job, he apologized over the phone and offered to give us a discount amounting to a day's pay for my son. My son told him they could discuss it when they arrived to install the softener. 2. My son lost a vacation day but not any actual cash so after thinking on it, he decided he'd spread some good karma and tell the guy that we forgave the mistake and that no discount was necessary. But neither he nor I had the chance. The owner would not look me in the eye and quickly walked away when I tried to talk to him. I use a cane and was not going to chase after him. Before the job was finished, he took off leaving the technicians to finish and collect the payment. I'm guessing he took off because he didn't want us to bring up the offered discount. 3. ** On a positive not, the technician that oversaw the job (owners daughter?) was friendly and knowledgeable. In fact, she finally went to the hardware store herself after their electrician kept coming back with the wrong part. (They had to install an exterior outlet for the softener). 4. Our system was not able to be installed in the garage do to access to our main water line. Instead, it was installed on the south side of our house, in all-day direct sunlight. Now we need to figure out some way to shade the softener as direct heat can damage the tank and the electronics in the control valve. In addition, where it is placed, the discharged water flows to our our lemon tree and line of cypress trees. We had to choose losing our trees from the softener salt ($10 a bag) or going with the more costly potassium salt ($40 a bag). We chose to save our trees. 5. What they did not tell us is that people with kidney disease or those on certain blood pressure medications, including the one I take, can develop a dangerous, sometimes deadly condition known as hyperkalemia when ingesting extra potassium. I now need to buy bottled water to drink and cook with. 6. The day following the install, we had a leak in the yard and sprinklers that did not work. The leak was a broken sprinkler pipe, possibly from their electric tamper or digging for the softener line. The sprinkler issue was caused by a broken valve in the box where they hooked into the main line. Thankfully, my son was able to figure out the problems and fix them himself. In all, our experience with this company was neither bad nor good. Just OK. It would have been nice if someone apologized or at least told us they broke the sprinkler valve. Mostly, I'm disappointed that the owner (Carlos) went out of his way not to make good on his offer to give my son a discount for the day he took off work -- even though my son planned to turn it down. His actions speak more to his character than his initial apology and offer of a discount when he thought he might lose the job.

After booking an installation appointment, the technicians arrived on time and two technicians installed the system in like 2 hours (which is fast in my opinion). One of my neighbors bought a softener system and hired a plumber to install the system as a weekend side hustle and that guy needed like half a day. They take Zelle or check payments.
