My minor son broke down 10 minutes outside of thatcher on his way home to Gilbert. My husband and I were out of town and couldn't help him. Luckily a Good Samaritan stopped and it was someone he knew so they were able to give him a ride home. I called my roadside assistance through State Farm. They said it was dispatched. 9 hours later, I hadn't heard anything, so I checked my car's location. Still on the side of the road on an Indian reservation. So I tried to chat and they told me it would be 2 days. Then 3. Unacceptable. They told me no local tow companies had accepted the job. Called Nuttall's and they said they had not received a dispatch to accept or decline. They went and got it for me at 12:30 am so that it didn't sit out all night. And they said it was less miles than they originally quoted me so it was a little cheaper! Great company with great service. State Farm's roadside assistance-not so much! I was on a trip from California to Dallas Texas Feb. 24 when my pickup's wheel bearing broke in Safford Arizona. Nuttall truck arrived on time (actually a little earlier than estimate) and both John the driver and his helper were helpful, friendly and professional. They worked quickly to put my truck on the flatbed. They were very kind to me and my sister, and even recommended a good place to eat while the shop made repairs. An unfortunate incident caused us to use the services of Nuttall's Towing and Doni (the owner's wife) couldn't have been more friendly and useful. She answered all my questions and gave me great directions for finding them once I reached Safford. The price was beyond reasonable for towing and impound and when I arrived close to midnight her husband and owner was helpful and didn't even charge the extra fee for after business hours vehicle retrieval. Huge bonus was that the truck that had to be towed was full of some very expensive equipment and the owner made sure that the truck was well protected and stored in the back to keep the equipment safe. The best experience ever with a tow company. He is knowledgeable, understanding, and was so reasonable. I did not have to drive out to the vehicle with him, it was after hours and I drove up from Mesa as the people that were driving my van left it behind. I was able to head back home as he dropped off the vehicle for me at the auto shop in town. He gave me great advice about not staying and assuming that the autoshop would help me the next day. It took 5 days before I got a full diagnostics on the issues with the van. Please support this guy, finding someone knowledgeable and caring like this is, is rare. What an amazing experience! Our classic car broke down near Safford on our way to Springerville. We called AAA and they dispatched Nuttall's towing. The owner of the company knew exactly what he was doing in getting out car on the trailer. He towed us to a shop nearby where my husband replaced what he thought was the problem. We then got on our way, went about a mile and the car stalled again. We needed a second tow, this time to Superior, where we met up with a friend who would be able to tow us and get us home. When we got to Superior, Nuttall's directed the entire process of getting our car off his trailer and into our friend's trailer. The entire process was quick and efficient and he took good care to make sure our car was treated like our first born child! Never have I experienced such knowledge and experience along with kindness towards us and our car. AAA has a winner here in Nuttall's. read more

While pulling my UTV on my trailer on Hwy 191 my truck decided to stop running. AAA was called and a Tow was there to help me out within an hour. My truck was put onto the flatbed portion of the tow truck and my trailer and UTV were hooked to the hitch behind the tow truck. Floyd was very professional, friendly and helpful in passing along important information to solve my situation. The following day I learned that I had to have my vehicle towed 130 miles away to Tucson for the warranty to be valid. Floyd was able to help us out again. We had a blow out in the middle of nowhere Arizona, in a car that had an inflater and a can of fix-a-flat insted of a spard tire. Quick call to AAA to arrnge a tow and resigned our minds to the inevitable 5-6 hour delay in our trip. Our basic AAA package allowed free 5 mile tow and $4.00 a mile after that. AAA sent their nearest tow service from Safford Arizona, 42 miles away. The tow would be $160.00 (give or take). We asked about tire service locations in Wilcox Az, 20 miles closer. They said no tows available from that area and would need to go to Safford. Long story short, the tow driver & owner of the company expedited our call and arrived in a very acceptable time. He then offered to take us to Wilcox (halving his bill and doubling his work time). He even waited to make sure they have the correct size tire before he left. I would highly recommend this tow service to anybody that breaks down in the middle of nowhere Arizona. read more

These folks saved us! We took our fifth wheel down a BLM road and got our rig wedged between two rock/dirt walls. Within 10 minutes of arriving they had us out of there and insisted on waiting on us on the way out to ensure we cleared that hill. Very nice and professional. What truly amazed us was that they drove 20 miles from town then 3 miles down a dirt road and were still extremely reasonable. Just great folk all around! I broke down in San Carlos on my way to Safford from Phoenix. The service was just phenomenal. There was a minor delay in coming to rescue me but they called me to verify my location. They asked if I was safely off the road and they kept me updated as to the arrival time since they were delayed due to a crash in Ft. Thomas that blocked the road. Doni was a pleasure to talk with along the road and she insisted on dropping me off at home instead of leaving me stuck at the dealership. Just fantastic customer service! Great experience from this company. We had a vehicle that was completely immobile, didn't run and all tires were flat. We needed it towed about 200 miles from my deceased fathers property in Clifton to my residence in Phoenix. When we spoke with the lady who answered the phone she was extremely professional and lovely to talk to. I realize how far of a tow it was but she still seemed very willing to help. When the tow truck driver (I forgot his name) got to the vehicle, he was extremely professional and quick. He knew exactly what he was doing and took ownership of the situation. He got the car loaded up and was very nice and easy to work with. When he arrived at my house to drop the car off. He was very careful to place the car where we needed it and didn't gripe or moan not once at the large job at hand. Even after driving 200 miles to drop the car off and then knowing he had to head back to Safford, he was still very friendly and professional and did a very good job delivering the vehicle. I could go on and on about the wonderful service we received from this company. I've dealt with other towing companies in this area and I haven't been treated very well at all. 3/21/2018 Nuttall's Towing was called to remove our wrecked travel trailer from the highway between Safford and San Carlos, AZ after we were forced off the road by an 18 wheeler. Mr. Nuttall and his son was so caring and helpful at the scene of the accident and once they had our trailer back at their business. The Nuttall family helped us salvage what could be salvaged and pack in to a u-haul for us to return to our home in Texas. I feel that Nuttall's Towing went above and beyond in helping us in this situation. I was in a serious bind when traveling to Safford from East Texas. I came to pick up a vehicle I am planning to restore. When I arrived after 14 hours and 1,000 miles of road covered, I wasn't able to get this vehicle on to my trailer. There was a slightly locked up rear break and the truck would not roll. After 4+ hours of dealing with it and no success, i went to a hotel for the night to start again in the morning. I looked up wrecker service on Yelp and found Nuttall. Doni, who answered the phone, was like an angel from above. She was so pleasant and helpful. She got me scheduled for the next day. They came out, got the truck on to my trailer in under 15 minutes and were friendly and personable.
