I had the vegan Beyond burger with added avocado and it was prepared perfectly! It was big, but I ate the whole thing because it was delicious. The shoestring fries were just ok. Cute little patio and fast service even though they were very busy.

They're super nice, and every time I come to town, I keep giving them more chances. But the burgers are way too meaty, way too wet, and the bun is just mush. And fries taste like they came out of a freezer bag. I really want to like it. But so far not great, ever.

What a hole in the wall. The food was fantastic, and the environment is unique. The servers were humble and accommodating. Truly a diamond of a spot!

This is our go-to spot for food anytime we drive through Globe. The burgers are fresh and incredibly flavorful and the fries are exactly what you want to add to the meal. The outdoor patio has an eclectic mesh of Mario and Star Wars (search for some hidden gems hiding in the rafters)! Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food does take longer than fast food, but it is well worth the wait!

The whole place is decorated with cool, nerdy stuff. The warp pipe was the best in my opinion. We sat outside on the patio/porch area and were greeted by such a friendly server. I got a cheeseburger with shoestring fries and my husband got the Raising Arizona. We wanted to try the peanut butter shake, but they were sold out The burgers were both delicious. They were fresh and hot without a bunch of fancy. The fries were crisp and tasty. Everything was perfect. Portions are very generous, I couldn't finish!! Best hidden gem in Globe. See you next time as we FOR SURE will be back.

What I love about Yelp! is the ability to connect others with great, little local places! We were driving through Globe on the way home from Lake Roosevelt and needed a bite to eat. We looked up "burgers" and we were so glad it lead us to Nurd Berger! We had excellent service. We loved the small, community feel of the diner inside. Our food was great! I had the Marston burger which had jalapeños, an onion ring, bacon, cheese and bbq sauce and it was really tasty. My only tweak I could have asked for was the burgers were cooked to "doneness" and I prefer medium, but that to be said that it was juicy! My onion rings were cooked perfectly and hot and fresh. Worth the stop in!

Caramel shake, it was awesome

This was a really great burger. If you're ever in Globe, Arizona, there are a lot of good places to eat, and this is one of them.

This is a favorite Road Trip stop for our family. Love the diverse menu and all the nostalgia/memorabilia decor. It's like if comic con had its own small diner.. I got a Greek chicken wrap and my family all enjoyed different burgers, fries, and shakes and no complaints here on the food or service.

We enjoyed our visit here a few weeks ago, so stopped for lunch on our way through town again. This time I ordered a chicken sandwich with a lettuce wrap and onion rings. It was good, but I think I will stick with the regular burgers next time. We got there right at lunchtime, so we had to wait quite awhile for our food. Since we weren't in a hurry, it was no problem. Cute little place.

Double Cheeseburger well where it was! It's all gone folks, maybe I will get a shot before I swallow it! Okay

Great food. Service is very good! Ambiance is good, close small indoors seating but nice, great outdoor dining! The future of parking is questionable with apartments opening across the street. I always enjoy!!!!

We came here to try the famous burgers. This place is of course super popular and there is very limited space for how popular they are for locals and travelers. We got the one up burger and another burger that was like a rodeo burger. Despite the fries being incorrect and a smaller portion than expected, the shoestring fries were better than I expected. I like softer fries than crispy ones so I ordered the crinkle cut but received the shoestring. I was luckily pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't say it's the best burger ever, but I do think the patty flavor and size were pretty darn good. I would definitely recommend the burger for the patty as the star of the show. The onion rings were fried well and they tasted fresh. I'm glad to have checked it off of our foodie too do list and I'd recommend it to all to at least try once.

We stopped here after seeing the positive reviews on Google and we were not disappointed…read more Like another person commented, dogs are not allowed inside but they moved a table outside for us which was great. We were in full shade. The owner handled this as well as our order and bringing out the food. He was friendly and engaging. The place is cute inside and was clean. The only disappointment was that the half pound of brisket I got was chopped rather than sliced. I am sure that is on me for not realizing it would come that way. Regardless, the meat was lean and tender and has a nice smokey taste. I prefer not to use sauce and this meat didn't need any. The burnt ends (both beef and pork belly) were good but I would stick to the brisket. My husband got a baked potato and it was loaded up nicely. The fries were very good and served piping hot. The order size was generous. If you find yourself in or near Globe, this place is worth a stop.

I first heard about Gila Hogs BBQ from a BeardMeatsFood episode, and honestly, it looked too good…read moreto pass up. So when I found myself near Globe, I made the detour--and I'm glad I did. The place has a no-nonsense, small-town charm. You walk in and it smells like someone's been tending a smoker since sunrise. I went for the brisket and ribs combo, and it was everything I hoped for. The brisket had that perfect smoke ring and melted in my mouth, and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone with just enough bite to keep it interesting. Their house BBQ sauce is tangy with a little kick--not too sweet, not too spicy, just right. What really stood out was the portion size. It's not just generous--it's borderline ridiculous. Watching HUGE BBQ PLATTER CHALLENGE | BeardMeatsFood, I thought it might be exaggerated for the camera, but nope. They serve up serious plates. You can see why Adam (BeardMeatsFood) was sweating through that challenge. The staff were friendly and seemed genuinely proud of what they're serving. I chatted with one of the guys behind the counter who mentioned they've had folks come in just because of the YouTube video. It's cool to see a local spot get that kind of attention. If you're into food challenges, the vibe is very much like what you see in DRUNK GUY BETS BAR STAFF I'LL BREAK THE RECORD ... and THIS CHALLENGE HAS BEEN FAILED 70 TIMES! | 13TH ...--fun, a little chaotic, and full of personality. But even if you're just there for a regular meal, Gila Hogs delivers. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Globe, AZ, and you love BBQ, this place is worth the stop. It's not polished or fancy--it's just damn good food made by people who care. So Sad this place is now closed since I was there !!!!

Small town wood fired oven pizzeria…read more Liz enjoyed a Caesar salad, it wasn't too bad. It was a lot of salad though. It would have been pretty good with some grilled chicken over it. The pizza was hot and tasty and the beer was cold and bubbly. I had a Flagstaff beer Brew42 Irish Red, and Liz enjoyed an lighter 805 draft from California. Not too shabby for a Friday night off the beaten path on the road to Phoenix. They had a variety of pizza flavors, buffalo chicken, BBQ chicken, margherita, cheese ...we went for their Three Piglets which came with salama, sausage, and bacon. Not heavy despite all the sliced pork...full of flavor. The kids enjoyed the pizza and Noemi was amazed with the amount of cheese in her Mac n cheese. Kim O was a very nice and attentive server. She made sure we wanted for nothing. We didn't sit in the bar area, but there were sports being played on the big screens. It was later at night but it seemed like a popular gathering place and older families were hanging out and walking out with smiles as we walked in. We were glad to have stopped on this pass through enroute to Phoenix.

Only thing they could possibly improve here is touch up , beautification…read more It's clean, typical DQ fare and friendly staff. We typically stop when in town. Steady chain of customers, but not super busy.

Gluten free eater…read more I've been here before for the hot fudge. My mom loves them and I try to avoid dairy. So my normal go to are fries. This time my husband and I wanted lunch. It went down hill from here. My husband ordered the double stack hidden valley ranch burger meal. It was so soggy that the bottom bun had disintegrated. The top bun was so hard he couldn't bend it. Appears to have been sitting out for a while. The fries were stale. The iced tea isn't my favorite brand of tea. That isn't their fault. I'm picky for good iced tea. His burger had no lettuce but without me asking (I ordered the same as his with modifications) mine came with lettuce. My order was correct. I got the same burger as my husband minus onion runs, bbq and a bun. They got all that right. Honestly that probably is part of the one star rating. I rarely get fast food to get me my order quickly and correctly. My burger had a ton of lettuce on it. The lettuce looked frozen and thawed. The ribs were discolored. It felt soggy. But it was bright green. I removed it all. The burger tasted like a frozen patty that was microwaved. I don't mind a good frozen patty, I've been to other local places that do them well. The bacon was fine and the cheese sauce was okay. To be honest it was one of the worst meals I've had in globe. We will only be returning for their ice cream items for my husband and my mom.
