It was a nice treat for us in traveling through the area. Nice outside seating. Available street parking for the RV. And the food was very good. Good experience. read more

Awesome food and atmosphere!! Pipping philly is awesome and the cheeseburgers and fries are delicious

Awesome food great atmosphere. Friendly staff. This is a must visit if you want a burger in Globe. I'll definitely be back.

This place is a hidden gem in Globe-Miami! If you're looking for a place the locals love, this is it! They have superb customer service. We visited this evening shortly after their closing time. They waived us in and happily served us. The owner, Taylor has done an excellent job renovating the restaurant. read more

Nurd Berger Cafe - Best onion rings ever! - Burgers Near Me - Globe, Arizona

Do yourself a favor when going through Globe. Pass all the chain fast food restaurants and stop here! It is super sweet - sits 20 people max. Not much signage so you can drive right by - but so worth it. I just had a burger and fries but there are lots of choices. Everything is made from scratch and the hand made ice cream shakes are AMAZING. Worth the extra time and the slight detour off the main road. read more

This place is so cute. My husband and I both got a burger with the works. It came out fast and yummy. The outside decor is very 80 geek decor. Well maintained (plants, water cooling system, multiple seating options while respecting social distancing, etc.) and clean. read more

Fantastic burger joint in Globe! Great atmosphere (lives up to its Nurdiness), very clean, and the food is wonderful. I was impressed by the fry sauce: delicious! Service was quick and friendly. This place is a winner, especially in this tiny town. read more

Oh well. Second visit to Globe. Looking forward to trying a nerdBerger. Unfortunately I sat down and waited 10 minutes, got ignored and decided to leave after they took an order from a six top that came in after me. It happens, but I wish they were better staffed. I'll try again next time. read more

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet! It is so nice to have a unique, tasty restaurant like this in our small town. The decorations and menu items are video game/comic themed, which makes for a fun atmosphere. During my last visit, I ordered the Articuno (hope I spelled that right! - I think it's a Pokémon!) chicken sandwich. The portions were very generous and everything was delicious. Everyone in our party (6 adults and 2 babies) was happy with the experience. Service was good, too! read more

Great local food joint. I had lunch here on my first trip to Globe, and have returned to Globe and Nurd Berger twice since - never alone. The deco is appealing, and the service and food above average. We have ordered several things off the menu. I recommend the burgers, or a sandwich. Nurd Berger excels at anything they make from scratch. read more

A few friends and I headed out on a motorcycle ride yesterday, stumbled upon the Nurd Burger Cafe in Globe. Nice little burger joint - we all agreed the burgers were excellent, the service was awesome and we'll definitely be back next time through. read more

Our orders came out separate. Long wait horrivle service it felt like it was their first day. Added bonus that the food was cold. There is a McDonald's close by with better food and much lower prices. read more

Ordered Gyros from here. Called in the order the girl said it would be 10 minutes or so. Got there in that time. Order wasn't ready but a man who came a couple minutes after me walked up to the window and his order was sitting there, he paid and was gone. I waited 10 more minutes for them to make my order. When I got the food home the Gyros had no tzatziki sauce but had sour cream instead. That's like ordering a BBQ burger and getting catsup instead of BBQ sauce. Prices have gone up there lately and quality going down. Won't be going there any more. read more

We happened upon this little café and had DELICIOUS Gyro sandwiches here today. The burgers look like they were delicious too, but we did not have those and wish we would have had the chance. Traveling through and I hope we can try back again another day. Would recommend and would return! Friendly and reasonably quick service. read more

One of the better burgers in the Globe Miami area. This small off the beaten path dive has a good variety and friendly staff. Summer time is ruff as the windows seem to attract the flies that can become aggravating. read more

Nurd Berger Cafe - Cheeseburger and fries - Burgers Near Me - Globe, Arizona

Really yummy veggie burger! So happy to have that option in globe! I wish the fries were a lil thicker, they are very thin. But I enjoyed!

We were driving back to Phoenix and wanted a place for lunch. I did the place to eat near me while on the road, and this café came up. We had not a clue what it would be like. But, from the moment we saw the building and walked in, we fell in love. The waitress/server was professional and very very nice. Greg took her suggestion for a hamburger and he raved over it. I loved mind, too. I really think it was one of the best burgers I ever had. If we are ever by Globe again, we will be heading there to eat again. And by the way, we are sorry we didn't get their hand made shakes.... read more

What a cute little spot in Globe! Great selection of burgers, cheesesteaks and rice bowls. The fries are really good too. If you're passing through Globe, highly recommend a stop here! read more

Service was great until CoViD, now you are just a number. They need more info so here ya go.

Amazing Philly cheesesteak sandwich! Will definitely be going back! In a town with very few options, this place is by far the BEST!

This place sucks. I'm a high schooler on a tight budget. I ordered a double cheeseburger which costs $6.50. I payed it and sat down. When they brought it out, it wasn't a double. I told them and they said they had no orders for a double cheeseburger and made me pay an extra $1 for a double. read more

What a fun place! Definitely stop by here on your way through. The food was good and the atmosphere will take you back to your childhood (if you're an 80s kid). Not a huge place so if you have a big group be prepared to not sit together. read more

We went here a year ago and really liked it so we came back this year. We ordered cheesburgers and onion rings. The onion rings were great but the meat on the burgers tasted weird to both of us. Like maybe some kind of filler in the meat ? Definitely not what we got last year. The patio area however, was disgustingly dirty. We went to sit down because we were told it would take 25 minutes for our food. The tables were dirty and had food crumbs on them. I used napkins and hand sanitizer to wipe our table off. The one trash can was piled so high with trash that people were putting their garbage on the ground next to it as they left. Meanwhile there was two young women sitting inside at a table one took the orders and the other brought out the orders but neither bothered to clean the patio area. The girl that was bringing orders out walked around the trash at least three times while we were waiting for our food but did nothing about it. We took our food back to our hotel. Those employees definitely aren't worried about keeping things clean there. read more

Firstly Joy ( the cashier ) was extremely friendly and very informative, she gave us some information about the area and things in the area that I was asking about. Once the food came out it was absolutely delicious the burger was amazing, and the fish was terrific so I wanted to tip both Joy and the kid in the back a few dollars, his name was Jackson. I had Joy split the money between them . Jackson came out to thank me and my friend for the tip and Joy had done the same. Now for the food. I got the 2 piece fish . It came with crinkle fries and the serving was pretty huge the pieces of fish were really good and they gave us plenty of tartar sauce . The burger was the " John Marston " and it was obviously huge as you can see from the picture. It was immense amount of burger for the price and more than fair . It had really thick bacon on it and was basically bursting with beef . It was late at night when we got there and we enjoyed talking with both the cashier/server and the cook Joy and Jackson. Very down to earth kids. So now one other thing which unfortunately we didn't get to try the milkshakes as they ran out of ice cream, the way I see it is they must make a darn good one ( remember it was closing time) since they had run out. The decor was pretty cool and the tables had comic book theme in it . They also had a really cool video game that allowed you to play the classics. Like Nintendo games . read more

Went here after a trip to the lake. AMAZING!!! The burgers are the best ever and the gyro was one of the best Ive ever had. What a treat here in Globe. Highly recommended!! read more

The group I work with ordered a to go order from nurdberger. The food was mostly good but they got 1 order wrong. They forgot the bacon and the French toast was eggie soggy and disgusting. When we called to tell them about it their response was "I don't know what to tell you." We have a fairly large group that orders food out regularly. We enjoyed the other food but we won't order from there again because of the customer service. We even called back a second time and basically was told if we couldn't come back by right then they wouldn't remake the order at a later time. This is a new business and we were really hoping that it would be good but with terrible customer service it doesn't matter if the food is good. read more

Hubby and I came here last night for first time after a long day of hiking, totally famished. Nurd Berger did not disappoint! Their burgers were huge and absolutely delicious, just the right amount of juiciness without being under-done or dried out. We will definitely make Nurd Berger our dining destination of choice when traveling through Globe again! read more

Seriously awesome burger! It was huge and juicy and the toppings were plentiful. And the shoestring fries are simple but really tastey. I left stuffed and satisfied for sure. read more

So glad this place is in Globe. Fun. Nice vibe. Good food. Diverse menu. Interesting art. Owners are cool people. My only wish is that the portions were slightly larger. But that's only because the food is good! I like the cheesesteaks and the Asian salmon dish. No one else is trying to do food like the latter. read more

This little place is off the beaten path but well worth the stop. We stopped here on the way back from Sunrise ski resort. They have a limited menu but all you need here is a burger, a basket of fries and milkshake!! We hit this place while school wasn't in session but I would worry it could get crowded as is down the street from a high school. We will definitely be back!!! read more

This place is awesome! Great "bergers", friendly staff, cute decor. No complaints at all

Outstanding food. Worth a visit for delicious burgers and fries. Try the Raising Arizona burger but be warned it is HUGE and embodies awesomeness. Great little restaurant!! read more

Great food. Split a half pound Mushroom burger with the girlfriend. Fries were great too. Coffee was amazing but the only complaint about the coffee was they didn't have soy or almond milk. They did have coconut milk but that's not an option we liked. Should have 2 lactose free options. read more

I absolutely love hamburgers. The "Raising Arizona" is one of the best hamburgers I've had in my entire life! This place is a gem!

Hubby and I drove over an hour just to try this place...time well spent! Sweet waitress took our order...2 double cheeseburgers and onion rings, iced tea and a rootbeer...took about 20 mins, but SO worth it! We both wish we lived closer, we'd eat here on a regular basis! Great food, wonderful service...win win!! read more

I have been here three times now and each time I have had excellent burgers. The bacon is cooked to perfection. This time I brought my wife and daughter to try the place out and who don't normally eat burgers. They loved the burgers. We will be returning. read more

On our planned day trip to Globe with my husband, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, my husband found this place via Yelp. The food was excellent! Three of us had cheeseburgers and one had a cheesesteak each of us with crinkle cut fries. The burgers were juicy, toppings fresh, nice jalapeño bacon with a kick, and the green chilies were flavorful and not too spicy. The fries were cooked to perfection-crispy, not too salty or soggy like at some places. Service was good, friendly staff and our food didn't take too long to come out. The inside is not too big, only 4 booths and one table for 5 but there is seating outside. We will definitely make a trip back! read more

small. got a specialty burger that was good but not great. shakes were good but not great. the novelty of the store was nice, and so was the variety of things they offered. Still, it felt like a fast food burger joint with sit down restaurant wait times and prices read more
