My initial contact was with a receptionist (name ?) who was the most pleasant receptionist I believe I've ever met. She was so helpful and arranged an appointment for me to meet a new PCP (Primary Care Physician). She transferred all my medical records from UW Medicine making the process painless. Did I mention the receptionist was so very pleasant? After my initial meeting with my new PCP, I was thoroughly impressed with the staff at Pacific Medical. The medical facility is really close by my apartment, so traveling back and forth is not a problem. Lots of parking, with about half dozen Handicap parking stalls directly out from the front door of the clinic. Perhaps the time spent with negotiations between Aetna & UW Medicine was my good luck.

I was extremely nervous, but once we started talking, he was such a kind and caring man, that my nerves just faded. I felt like he listened to me and we worked out the best possible scenario for my needs. One thing I really appreciate about him is that he sat down and talked with me without typing. Every doctor I have been to in the past types their notes as they talk to me and I don't really feel heard. I am very grateful that I found him and I also want to say how appreciative I am of his nurse, Caroline, for reaching out to me personally the week prior to see how I was doing. I can't remember any prior doctor's office staff reaching out to me like that and she spent a considerable amount of time talking to me. I felt so much better after our chat! I definitely believe Dr. McLaughlin when he says Pac Med puts their patients first.

Tiffany, the nurse or medical assistant (sorry unsure again) was extremely down to earth and made it so easy to feel comfortable. Dr. Moehlman was the most real and warm doctor I've ever been to. Tara Snell got my blood on the first try. That has never happened. Within 45 mins I had my physical, lab work done, follow up appointment booked, a referral and a prescription refill. Lab work was available in MyChart within literal hours. Shoot, even the other patients in the office were friendly! The atmosphere in this place is insane, I've never had such a great experience from start to finish and felt comfortable with the whole process at any medical office, ever. Dr H-Swan came in and 5 mins later proceeded to loudly-aggressively berate me for not wanting to take a medication he recommended.... He did not speak to me, he spoke at me.... He is a deluxe JERK, it was the worst experience l've ever had in a doctor's office !
