After getting my missing car key REPLACED, the locksmith told me that my car is still immobilized due to my alarm being 3rd party. With a heavy heart, I paid the man for his service and continued worrying about how I would go back to work tomorrow morning. By this point, it was 6PM and all the other stores had closed or didn't want to make the trip. The last person I called was James who, despite not being able to make it out to my place, gave me some real sound advice and the information I needed. He was empathetic with my situation and despite me not being a paying customer, spent his time describing what I would need to do to fix my problem. I was able to get my car up and running thanks to him and I will definitely be his future customer. Thanks James! read more

James is awesome! I live in Arizona, my 95 yr old mother in law lives in Tracy. She has a POD storage unit that she misplaced the key to the padlock. I called James, he was there within 15 minutes, kept me on the phone while he cut the lock off, and did it for a very reasonably price. Half of what other companies were quoting. Highly recommend his services! God bless you James. read more

Awesome guy. Helped when we were in s real pinch. Would call them again if needed. Very helpful.

Got locked out of my house at 8:45pm. The knob somehow stayed locked even after I had opened it from one side. Very frustrating especially since it was late at night. I tried reaching out to two other companies, non of which were available. Lucky that I saw Nunes Locksmith, 15 minutes later James arrives in his van to save the day! Got the door unlocked without any damage or hesitation within a minute or less. James even went the extra mile by creating extra keys for me at no additional charge. Saved his number and will use his services in the future! read more

Locked keys in car. Within 30 minutes from placing the call, someone came and opened the door. Awesome service and great price. Thank you!

I contacted Nunes Locksmith because the thumb latch on my door handle prevented us from opening our door. I spoke with James who informed me of the parts that were needed to replace the defective handle, as well as where I needed to purchase the parts, and he instructed me to call him when the task was complete so that he could replace the lock and handle. I called James two days later to schedule an appointment, and too my surprise he was able to come to my home an hour later. James was very professional, had a great personality and worked diligently to get the job done. While he was installing the new locks and handle, James took the time to explain what he was doing, showed me how to operate my new keyless lock, and programmed my existing key to work with the new system. Not only was the price for service reasonable, but James called that evening to make sure my husband's key worked properly with the new system. I couldn't have asked for better service, and I will definitely use Nunes Locksmith again! read more

A BIT OF A LATE POST, BUT CERTAINLY NOT FORGOTTEN!! JAMES NUNES IS THE MOST HONEST, FRIENDLY, KIND PERSON! NOT TO MENTION HIS PRICES ARE UNBEATABLE!!! He came to my rescue (single mother of an infant and 9 year old) in 10 MINUTES FLAT! I am beyond satisfied with not only his promptness, but also his honesty and superior customer service and kindness. A few weeks ago I had lost my chipped key and called 'Auto locksmith Tracy', a 24 hour mobile service. Upon my call, they came to the place my car was in an 1 hour and 15 minutes. I was quoted over the phone a $29.95 service charge, plus the cost of the key. The man informed me that I needed two keys, one to open the door, and one to start my car. My total was $180.00 and he would only accept cash, and received NO RECEIPT. I paid him and we went our separate ways. I then tried to start my car and I could not get it to start, so I called the company again and the same man returned. Apparently I found my original key, and did not realize he had connecting his tablet computer for re-chipping and informed me that that was my original key and it would need to be reprogrammed. He had the program open so I asked how much it would cost to re-program my key and he told me $90, which I thought was extremely high so I told him I would like to contact someone else to find a more affordable price to fit my budget. I called several places and they all seemed to run back to the same key company that is located in the West Valley Mall. They were all extremely rude. Mr. Nunes even tried contacting them to speak with a manager to all why they would charge me for an unnecessary key and they had the audacity to HANG UP ON HIM! I refer Mr. Nunes to EVERYONE who needs ANY kind of locksmith needs. His prices are more than reasonable qnd he himself is a very kind man. Thank you for not taking advantage of my desperation to use my vehicle like the jerks from the mall did! You're an amazing person and deserve all the business in this ENTIRE AREA! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! I'll never forget your kindness and am happy to refer everyone who needs your services! read more

James is a great locksmith, and an amazing human being! Not only was his rates reasonable, but he was more than happy to help and offer advice outside of rekeying our house. I am a first time home-buyer and new to the area and he gave me information that would help make sure my family was safe. So glad I contacted him. He even within 10 minutes! I cannot tell you enough how much this man deserves his 5 stars on here. If you live near Tracy and need locksmith services, James is your man! read more

Yo ... it was a Friday night just about 7pm ... a dark winter night out and I'm freezing my butt off locked out of the crib ... I called another locksmith in my area and that guy gave me the runaround and couldn't even guarantee he'd get into my place ... so when I call Nunes Locksmith I was ready to hear the same song and dance ... but to my surprise that was not the case ... when he told me "oh we are getting into your place no doubt" that was music to my ears ... he also quoted a price that was half the other guys ... I was like huh? What?! So dude shows up in like 10 mins in his pimp locksmith Astro van ... gets into my place in like 20 seconds and replaces the latch on my door with the quickness ... this guy clearly knows what's up ... and is cool as a cucumber ... so if you want the best price ... quality service ... convenience ... the whole Shebang call Nunes Locksmith first ... you won't be disappointed ... read more

This locksmith was very helpful and trustworthy. He came in twenty minutes and helped me out for an affordable price, much lower than the other quotes I received from locksmiths in the area. Would definitely recommend! read more

James answered my quote request almost immediately and his fee was extremely low compared with other locksmiths. This guy knows his sh_t !! I needed all 6 of my homes locks rekeyed and he did them all for $120. He was fast, professional and thorough and even gave me 3 sets of keys at no extra charge. I had to call him a little later because I was having trouble getting a key out of one lock but when he arrived back, and quickly at that, it was apparent that it was operator error on my part. I felt bad making him come back but he was friendly and laughed it off. I highly recommend this company for any locksmith in needs. He even does cars. VERY IMPRESSED!!!!! read more

Absolute BEST in the business! My Acura cat keys were stolen. After ordering my keys from Acura the dealer wanted to charge me an arm and a leg to program them. Called multiple locksmiths and they didn't have the technology to program. James could not only program them, but he's mobile, he came to me, and programmed it for half the price. Definitely recommend this guy!!! read more

Let me start out by saying if I could leave six stars I would. At 11:15 p.m. on a rainy night I locked my car keys in my car. Now as someone who has never done this before I automatically panicked and immediately started searching for locksmiths. From what I had heard in the past from friends and family locking your car keys in your vehicle is one of the most costly and time-consuming things one can do. Did I mention I also live in a small town? So basically my mind was already made up that this was going to be an expensive and near impossible project. I called three other places listed on Yelp and was informed by all three that my vehicle was a"high security vehicle". Two places flat-out refused to even come look at the car and one place told me that it would take them two hours and cost me $300. The fourth place that I called was Nunes Locksmith. As soon as I told James my situation and my address he hung up the phone and was here in less than 5 minutes. No kidding he was literally here on the property in 5 minutes. He had a wonderful attitude was super friendly and opened car in less then 10 minutes. He was a literally my knight in shining armor just like the logo shows. I was so impressed with his service I would recommend him to anyone and if I ever need a locksmith I know exactly who to call. And not to mention the price was way under $300. Extremely reasonable. read more
