When the young man came, he said it was $90 plus a service fee of $80. I said that was not the price quoted to me. He said it was the best he could do. When I told him I had someone else that said they could do it for $100 and I would just go with other person, he said he would do it for $120. I said okay, then he drilled and hammered away at the lock with no success, breaking several drill bits. After a half hour, he said he needed another tool, and he would be back in an hour. An hour and a half later he showed back up with a saw. He still had to borrow a wrench from U-Haul staff just to put saw together. He finally got it done, but what should have been a job that took less than 30 minutes, took several hours of my day. Clearly, he had no experience in cutting off a U-Haul lock. Great lock though if you want to prevent theft from the novice criminal

I decided to call several different locksmiths for quotes and left messages. Chris from K&C Locksmith not only picked up the phone when I called, but was able to make a trip out to make me a new set of keys and re-program the key fobs on a Sunday morning! He saved me several hundred dollars that I would have paid by going to the dealership! Instead of spending $1700 for 2 new sets of keys from the dealer, I paid $200. Chris is professional, knowledgeable, and has amazing customer service! He also guarantees his work for 6 months and gives discounts to repeat customers. Tricky situation but had to get all the locks changed quickly in an elderly person's house. All the locks were various brands and ages and finishes so that another locksmith even turned us down. Not Service Pro - they called multiple times to let us know the arrival time, showed up early, were not intimidated by the job, even went to the store to buy more lock sets to coordinate with the current ones. They didn't change locks that didn't need to be, so saved us money. When the whole job was finished, we went from 6 different keys (for an elderly person to keep track of!) to ONE key for a totally reasonable prixe. Thankful for their speed and professionalism and getting the job done. Highly recommend.
