Needed someone for a tight time window and hefty job and Service Pro Locksmith came through big time. Tricky situation but had to get all the locks changed quickly in an elderly person's house. All the locks were various brands and ages and finishes so that another locksmith even turned us down. Not Service Pro - they called multiple times to let us know the arrival time, showed up early, were not intimidated by the job, even went to the store to buy more lock sets to coordinate with the current ones. They didn't change locks that didn't need to be, so saved us money. When the whole job was finished, we went from 6 different keys (for an elderly person to keep track of!) to ONE key for a totally reasonable prixe. I highly recommend using this company. In my line of legal work (evictions), I use locksmiths on a regular basis. This was an A+ company from their very prompt Yelp inquiry response, to giving a rough quote before the service (exact price always depends on how many locks they have to change). The technician (I think it was Manuel?) was early to the appt, assisted the Sherrif with professionalism and courtesy, and then very efficiently changed out the door locks. He even went and assisted me with communications (Spanish translation) with the owner's family who came to the appt too. In this day and age, locksmiths can really scam on the price given the sometimes desperate situation (being locked out of your car, home, etc). We hired Service Pro the first time because we'd locked ourselves out of our PODS and couldn't find the key. Kind of out the damper on moving. Came out the same day and took care of the issue quickly. He even had another padlock, so I didn't have to load up all the kids and go to Wal Mart. We had such a good experience with them that we hired them AGAIN to re-key our new house, and switch out some bedroom doorknobs. He was able to rekey all the locks to the same key and replace two doorknobs and a deadbolt the same day. Both times that he came out, he was professional and diligent. He said he would try to get out later that day. Much to my surprise, I received a call from Mario about an hour and a half after. I figured it would be a couple of hours. Mario was very nice and courteous as well. He unlocked the shed, re-keyed it to match the house keys and cut me two other ones. And they were very fairly priced! I called and requested service for a deadbolt and a door handle. I spoke with both the woman who answered the phone and another employee who walked me through the service I was looking for. Most importantly, I wanted to be able to Re-Key the new locks to my current keys. They were able to walk me through exactly what I needed. Everything was great to that point. Here is the frustration. I asked MULTIPLE times what kind of price I was looking at. What would be my total cost. I was quoted around $100 for both locks and the Re-Key. I was on board. We made an appointment and scheduled the service. The technician came and did good work and competed the job. Then my total cost was $60 higher than quoted. I questioned the technician, and he reported that was the standard service call fee. I explained that I asked multiple times what my total would be. He offered to call the office to try and address my concern. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was the same person who quoted me about $100 and told me he thought I knew there was a $60 service call fee included. I asked him how I would know that, and reiterated that is why I asked for a quote. He informed me that usually, the woman who answers the phone explains that. He contacted her and had her call me. Of course, she took no accountability. I was frustrated and asked the woman to please have the owner call me to discuss this issue. She reported that she would have him call me. I never got the call. The work was good, but the professionalism and honesty of the business are certainly in question. I've steered others elsewhere after this experience. If you choose to use them, be sure you get a written quote because they changed my total, and my bill became $60 more. read more

I've used SERVICE PRO LOCKSMITH a few years ago for a rekeying of my house due to a broken door lock. They guys came out and did a quick and clean install and were extremely professional. So when I needed my shop to be keyed alike and my work van ignition and key fixed I called them back. The same Locksmith, Mario came out and did another professional install and rekey. I also had him make duplicates for some of my other vehicles since he was here. What I really liked is that Mario didn't mind me watching him work and he explained what he was doing which I found interesting because I never knew how a lock worked. On a Saturday morning, the lock in our office front door stopped working. We could unlock the door, but couldn't get our key out. Obviously, we wouldn't be able to close up for the day until it was fixed. We called Service Pro Locksmith, and Mario handled the call and the service. He was at our office in less than 30 minutes. Right on time to re-key our house. Work done quickly and professionally. Asked the technician a question about a keypad lock that wasn't working correctly, which he soon investigated but couldn't repair after fussing with it for 15 or 20 minutes. Later that morning I got a call from Mike the owner and he wanted to come out to see if he could fix it. Subsequent to his arrival the tech also showed up and the pair of them spent well over an hour trying to get the darn thing to function correctly. Unfortunately, Mike said a worn part was the culprit and the lock being so old parts are no longer available, so there really wasn't anything he could do. The good news is that the keypad included a cylinder lock which was part of the re-key, so the lock still functioned without having to use the keypad. I messaged the business through Yelp since it wasn't an emergency situation, and I heard back within an hour. I sent the same message out to multiple locksmiths in the area, and Service Pro not only responded the fastest, they beat every other quote I received, and they were able to schedule an appointment with me right away.
