Corrine from Ditman's Key Service is an extremely experienced and qualified locksmith. She has been doing this work for a long time, and definitely knows her way around locks. On top of that, she provides very friendly, punctual, and professional service, and her pricing is very fair. I have hired her two times for locksmithing services at my home, and have received stellar service on both occasions; the first time to help my daughter with a lockout, and the second time to re-key all of the locks. Not only did she quickly and efficiently re-key all of the locks, she also got a couple of formerly stubborn handles working much more smoothly again, and provided me with an important tip about not using powdered graphite in my locks, as I had been taught to do when I was young, but to use a special liquid lubricant instead. I didn't go with her because she was already busy BUT she took the time to look at my lock via picture texts and let me know if it really needed to be drilled open (I locked myself out of a bedroom). She told me that a price I was quoted by another company was fair and reasonable. This helped me when choosing between two locksmiths. I had a locksmith who reached out fast but had only one review and it was one star! He told me he could price match but wouldn't tell me what his standard rate for opening a lock via drill was. He wanted my quotes! When I gave him Ditman's quote he came back for $40 higher! Then when I showed him a quote for $165 he wanted to know who and where and kept pushing. When I told him I chose the other guy he came back again saying he could do it for that price then. He did this even after I said no. Okay, check this out. Imagine it's Saturday morning and your front door lock at your home all but shatters in your hand as you open your door. You look at the problem and believe you can replace the lock but to play it save you look to Yelp to find a locksmith that works on Saturday! Only one "Ditman's", works on Saturdays so I left a text message. Corrine responded quickly and apologized as she was unavailable due to personal reasons. So you press forward and get the broken pieces removed but some remaining guts of the lock are stuck inside the door. You been working on it for a couple of hours... and all of sudden your phone rings and it's Corrine Ditman, apologizing again. But she says sends me some pictures and I'll talk you through the job. 20 minutes later the job is finished. No mess, no issues and no acceptance of money. This is service above and beyond. I know not everyone needs a locksmith but when you do it's always at the most inconvenient date/day/time. Corrine will always be my locksmith! Bravo Ditman'!!!!
