My mom and I both got regular pedicures and specifically asked for our nails to be cut very short. My technician did cut mine short, but my mom's technician barely trimmed hers, even after I repeated that she wanted them much shorter because they were very overgrown. I also got a gel manicure on Friday. By the weekend, the polish was already snagging because it had been painted onto my cuticles, causing it to lift. By Wednesday, it had already chipped. I usually get at least a week and a half out of gel on my natural nails, so this was disappointing. The salon was very clean, the color turned out beautiful, and everyone was friendly. They did offer free alcohol/non alcoholic drinks which was a nice plus. I think the biggest issue was that the service felt rushed, which affected the quality. Since it's such a large salon with many technicians, you may have a better experience once you find someone whose work you really like.
