However, my experience with the manicure left me feeling dismissed, disrespected and uncomfortable. During the manicure, I politely asked if one of the white tips on the French design could be made slightly thinner to better match the others. It was a small correction, not a demand for perfection. Rather than adjusting it, the technician became visibly frustrated, put down his tools, and told me they weren't going to be even anyway, and that I could go elsewhere if I wasn't happy. I tried to calmly explain that I wasn't expecting them to be identical--just that one was noticeably thicker than the others--but he was adamant that they wouldn't be to my liking and repeated that I should go somewhere else. He continued to argue with me and kept repeating that I should go somewhere else, I wasn't going to like his work and they weren't going to be even. As a customer, it felt disrespectful to be shut down and spoken to that way. I believe in giving constructive feedback, but due to how I was treated, I will not be returning to this salon and I will not be recommending it to others. Customer service matters just as much as the service itself

Many places seems like they have young, uneducated people, far from being nail technicians, taking care of some customers. On a trip to Walla Walla I walked by this little place, peeked inside and got a good vibe right away. It looked clean, professional and up to date. They do not take walk ins but to my luck someone just called and cancelled their appointment as I walked in. I had my nails done by Cherish who also is the owner. Super sweet and very skilled. I saw two other ladies getting a pedicure while I was there and when I'm in town next time I'm booking that for sure! They're the first shop in Walla Walla (I tried 3 others) that tells you an honest wait time, actually cares if you're happy with your nails (shape, paint, etc.) and will touch up your nails while you're there if you mess them up or aren't happy with something they did. They were able to fix issues for other customers that another shop had done to nails, as well as buff out some imperfections that another shop had done to my own nails. They give you appreciation discounts each time you come if you're a re-occuring customer. After the second visit, they've remembered my preferences and first name and details of my life that I've shared with them and the girl I always go with. I have also had numerous pedicures and they feel great. They make sure you leave a happy customer each time.

A testament to why I, the husband, insisted on this treatment. I remember my wife having beautify soft feet that just harden up over time due to the nature of the work she does at home. Once that pedi was done, Ann proceeded to offer to do a full manicure but Lisa's moderate, and doesn't want fancy colorful nail. But Ann offer to do a restore service to her once beautiful fingers. To tell you the truth, of the 20 years together, I've not seen my wife's finger nail in such great condition after Ann was done with it. This was something I didn't think was possible. I use to always teased my wife about her ugly finger nails, after seeing the result of Ann's work, I'm dumb strucked. I was tempted to get my restored and cleaned up ... alas, I was out of time, and had to be off to Seattle. I am not exaggerating when I say they lightly rubbed both of my calves for a total of 40 seconds- I timed it. The callus removal was like an exfoliation, nothing was really solved there.. $10 for an extra 4 minutes of light service is not worth it. I asked them about it after and they kept saying it's not about the time spent on it. Total for the Gel Pedicure was $65, which is the same as my place in Bellingham Washington, that actually gives you a massage maybe 8 minutes total- for both legs, and a shoulder massage. Bellingham Washington is a relatively expensive area compared to Walla Walla Washington, yet this is the service you get for what you pay. Tell me if this makes any sense.
