This review is long overdue! I've been getting my nails done for some 20 years in big city and small town salons all over the west coast. When I moved back to Walla Walla a few years back, I discovered this spot and it was love at first visit! By far, the best nail experience I've ever had! The people and service is awesome! It's run by a mom, daughter and son-in-law who all work there. They are all so kind and helpful. One of my absolute pet peeves is walking into a salon that says they can fit you in, then you wait for 2-4 hours because they are also working on 6 other people. Not here. If they don't have time, they will let you know. Apart from soaking your nails, once they start working on you, you are their sole focus. With that said, they do have very loyal clients and are usually busy - so, call ahead to make an appointment for the best experience. Annie, the daughter, manages the salon and is an absolute nail artist. I wish I have taken pictures of some of the gorgeous nails I've seen her do! The pictures here do not do justice. The last time I went in, a girl was getting her set changed after one month - each one had a different design and they still looked flawless! She will make your wildest, Pinterest-perfect dreams come true! She stays up with all the trends, is always experimenting with new products and finding ways to improve their business, which I really admire! For me, long nails don't work with my lifestyle- so, I stick to short nails with gel. Amy, the mom, usually helps me and is such a sweetheart! My issue is that my natural nails usually get filed too aggressively and ruined, then the polish is too thin or thick and promptly chips or crack within days. At some salons, it's hard to keep them nice for a week! I am writing a review today as I am on week three plus, and they are still perfect (other than the obvious grow-out). Don't look any further! Male who eventually did my pedicure was 30 minutes late. I saw him leave the shop, just as I was arriving. Appeared that he went to a car and sat there. When he finally arrived he didn't speak to me. I had to cancel my manicure as I had run out of time. They acted like I never made the appointment for a manicure. My appointment was for a mani and pedi for both my mother and I. I did repeat myself several times to be sure they got us "both down" for the appointment. Will search other places for our nail care. read more

I had a fill done at another salon and it was not up to par - so I had heard Lt Nails was amazing and decided to stop in here...they were able to fix my nails to a five star standard. Worst manicure ever. Please take this warning despite other manicures that may look ok. The men at this business were terrible. I came in with my friends who are a gay couple to get manicures. We had appointments for 5pm and didn't get served until 5:45 because the male workers refused to serve other men so we had to wait for the female manicurists to finish with their other customers even thought we had an appointment. I got gel removed and the way literally any other nail salon does this is use the electric buffer and then soak in acetone until they are ready to come off. The man put acetone soaked cotton ball with tin foil without buffing. Then it wouldn't come off (DUH) so he buffed the entire gel off. This was extremely painful. He also didn't remove any of the nail shavings he created from painfully taking off the top of my nails when we were done the underside of my nails was filled with this. Overall, I came in to get a better manicure than I could do myself and was left with much worse. Also, it says on their yelp that manicures are $10 but they charged us $20 for a basic manicure that didn't even include hand lotion. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Called & made an appt for a Fill, told them I was driving from TriCities. Arrived 5 min early. I was kept waiting OVER 30 MINUTES! Quality of work is meh. THEN, at checkout, was told the card reader wasn't hooked up yet. This fact was NOT mentioned at the time the appt was made. Had to drive across the street to get cash ( & charged a fee!). My experience at LT nails is inconsistent. I have had many visits with wonderful service. However, this time was a bit different. I know we all have our days to not be on par. Didn't start out well. Annie was 30 minutes late to my appt and wasn't even in the building yet. If they knew she was going to be late her mother should have informed me. She greeted me and then had me sit and wait at the station. I then showed Annie my picture I wanted for my nails. I wanted a nude base for my acrylic with 1 single dark blue line down one finger and discussed the specifics I was looking for. Some how throughout the conversation she seemed to understand I wanted 1 nail to have nude acrylic base (the on with the line) and the rest a light blue painted color. So she did a clear acrylic base for all other fingers. When I saw the first hand I was confused and so I asked her "how do you see my natural nail line being hidden." She stopped and said "didn't you want them all blue?" I said "no" and showed her the picture again. She said "oh I misunderstood." I had said I wanted my nails "all nude with only 1 dark blue stripe to match my all blue dress." Her solution then, instead of starting over, was to paint over all the nails with an alternative nude color. I as naive and went with her plan as she was the professional. I wanted to trust. To add insult to injury because she was late and her next client was waiting she had her mother paint my nails while I sat in the pedicure chair while I had my pedicure done. It was uncomfortable physically for me and I as having to juggle UV lamps on my lap and having to cross over my hand to her multiple times for her to be-able to reach my finger. The nude turned out to be more pink than I had wanted and the one finger, with the different base color, overall looks different than the rest...more peachy. Plus, the paint job is uneven and messy looking on the edges, even after I pointed out my concerns to her. The line did not turn out even, straight and the color used with black not blue. When I was working with Annie, before she sent me to her mother, knew I wanted a blue stripe to match my blue dress and blue toenail polish. As for the color on my toes. Annie showed me a sample color of mixing a black and blue color together to get the blue I was looking for. The sample looked exactly like I wanted. However, when the husband painted my nails the color did not come out anything like the desired blue. He didn't mix it. He painted black and then blue on top. I was trying to ask questions nicely and not trying to be too over baring. However, I started to feel there were a lot of red flags and I could sense they didn't really want me to keep asking questions. I stopped asking and expressing myself due to fear of becoming too bitchy and annoying. I just wanted to be done. And by that point I didn't have for them to fix anything even if they had offered before the event. So I paid $105 for their services without tip. The lesson I have learned is to be very direct about what I want and stop them if I'm not happy. However, I feel like Annie from the very start was struggling and should have addressed being late and the wrong acrylic base right away. I would not then have done any polish over the acrylic if the base was the original nude. read more

With the quarantine my friend and I drive an hour away to get a gel pedicure. We were so excited to finally get our toes done after 3 months of not having the luxury to do so. I know prices vary depending on the salon but $55 for a mediocre job? I am very disappointed because t20 in tri-cities is $45 for a luxury spa gel pedicure with amazing removal of dead skin, wax and hot towels. If the salon charged me $55 only to make sure they got a tip I am very disappointed. The gel is all uneven and all my toe nails are shaped differently! read more

My friend and I both walked out of there with my cuticles pushed back so far they hurt for at-least four days. 50 dollars for a full set with gel polish and my pinkie nails fell off within a week. Granted this is the first time I've come here and had my nails fall off before they are grown out. But I ended up having to take them off because they weren't put on correctly or something. My nails looked like i was in need for a fill the next day. So I paid 50 dollars for sore cuticles, grown out nails, and only having them for 1 1/2 weeks with all 10 nails still on my hands. Really bummed about this cause the store is so cool, and their pedicure chairs are amazing. read more

After giving this place a try, I will not come back. The nail tech left my sister in law to go outside to get some money from some man. She kept taking care of the children rather than paying attention to the nails she was doing and lastly, when she was "done", she directed my sister in law over to the nail dryer , she sat for a while until we noticed the dryer wasn't even on . The manicure I received was by far the worst I've ever had. The guy did not seem to care at all about what he was doing. He painted right over the cuticles (where as most places push back the cuticles, at the very least), he didn't wait for the coat to dry before putting on the top coat, which smeared/pulled the polish causing ripples in the paint. As a right handed person, I could have left-hand painted my nails and achieved better results. They rushed through everything (I was in and out with a mani and a pedi in ~35 minutes) and seemed to be short staffed and overbooked. The pedi itself was underwhelming and not impressive but at least the paint didn't chip the same evening. Outside of that, the place was dirty. There was an open salt and ketchup packet with crumbs everywhere right on the table where I was sitting during the manicure, the bathroom wasn't clean and overall the place just had a bad vibe. I shopped around for a nail salon. I live in Dayton, WA so there is not much of any options. I tried in Waitsburg and was disappointed...I try to go local as much as I can. I drove 30+ miles after calling 5 different shops...most did not answer...it was actually confusing. I finally called LT nails and made an appointment. Walk ins are not available because they are busy because of the work they do...I was a nail tech for over 10 years in Portland and could not hold a candle to Ann. This family owned business was my first self-care stop once we arrived in Walla Walla yesterday. What a nice surprise! The lovely mom of the owner patiently exfoliated my feet, massaged my very tired calves. Please don't waste your money. $25 for just gel nail polish, not the manicure, just putting on the color. It chipped off in less than a week. There is clutter everywhere, owners kids running around, and even making an appointment doesn't mean you'll get seen on time. There are better, cleaner, more fair priced options in town. read more

What a way to treat a first time customer! The gentleman who did my nails seemed like he didn't want to be there, that maybe he was anxious to go home. And it was the middle of the afternoon! He was very rude to me, rushed through doing my nails. He was very rough with doing my nails. He didn't speak English well, so it was tough for me to understand him. this place is one of the better nail places since the new owners have taken over. they remodeled the inside and it looks amazing! i recently went in there to get my nails and a pedi and they did a fantastic job i will defiantly be returning! they got new message chairs in there when you get pedicure and very friendly people and very good service. reasonably priced, i would recommend people to go to this place walk-ins are welcome. i have always left this place happy with what i got done and my pocket book wasn't empty either! must go to at least once and i'm sure you will be hooked. read more
