You'll start with Misty at their showroom. With some measurements and a couple photos, she'll begin your design, providing 3D renderings along the way. She couldn't have been more pleasant, helpful and patient. My wife Karen and her friend Colleen were the primary decision makers. But, realizing I was out numbered, Misty was compassionately accommodating with the couple of requests I had. Once the design is approved, Bryce (owner) came out to our house for final measurements. Even after his meticulous work, it turned out our refrigerator wouldn't fit under the cabinet above it. He and Misty made the exchange for the next smaller size a breeze. In addition to a top shelf customer experience all the way around, their price was within $100 of Builders Surplus!! I would give them 10 stars if the system allowed it; our highest recommendation.

Thankfully, I found The Original Cabinet Experts, and they absolutely saved our kitchen. From the very beginning, the owner, Sam, was incredible to work with. He made sure both my boyfriend and I were happy every step of the process. He took the time to explain exactly how they would restore our cabinets and why their woodworking expertise would preserve the integrity of the original wood instead of just covering up mistakes. In addition to refinishing our cabinets, we upgraded to beautiful new soft-close wood drawers and replaced all of our old hinges with soft-close hardware. The transformation is unbelievable. You would never know the cabinets were once a dark cherry wood color, or that I had attempted a DIY paint job before they came to the rescue! One thing that really stood out was the communication. Throughout the entire project, Sam and his team kept us updated on the progress and were always available to answer any questions. That level of customer service made the whole experience stress-free. One moment that really impressed me happened after the project was finished. My boyfriend was home when the work was completed, but I was still at the office. Sam called to ask what I thought of the kitchen. When I told him I hadn't seen it yet and was only going by what my boyfriend had said, he didn't just thank me and move on. Instead, he told me to take a look when I got home and give him a call afterward because he genuinely wanted to hear my opinion. That personal touch really meant a lot. There were also a couple of very minor issues that we noticed after the installation. I called Sam, and without hesitation or any pushback, he apologized and immediately sent his crew out the very next morning. They addressed everything perfectly, and now the finished product is absolutely flawless. We are beyond happy with our new kitchen. We stopped by their showroom about three to four times to pick out the tile, countertop, cabinets, etc. and each time Tim was very accommodating and patient. He assisted but was not overbearing at all in terms of helping us choose what would look best and gave some great tips and points. Our master bathroom was more than just a facelift, we removed a closet, extended the bathroom, fixed a leak, moved some plumbing and electrical, etc. Each crew member we interacted with was extremely professional, did the work quickly and professionally, and Sam the foreman was helpful in answering all of our questions. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the end product. Tim and his entire team are very patient, communicative, and we will likely use EKB again when we get our other bathrooms and kitchen redone.

After we paid and left, we received a call saying the product was actually not in stock and would take about a week. Frustrating, but what made it worse was the response we got when we followed up. We spoke with Glenn and explained that had we known, we might have gone elsewhere. His response was essentially that we were free to do so. Having worked in customer service for over 10 years, I found that surprising and disappointing...there was no effort to retain our business or make things right. We decided to continue with the order since we had already paid. Fast forward about two weeks, and we hadn't received any updates. I called to check in and was told the shipment was still in transit and might arrive by the end of the day. I asked to speak with a manager, and Glenn called me back. To his credit, he acknowledged the earlier interaction and apologized for the delay, but there was still a lack of proactive communication or effort to improve the experience...especially considering we had already, made multiple trips for payment and a partial pickup. Ironically, I received a call just before closing that the rest of the shipment had arrived and would be ready for pickup the next day...but only after I had reached out first. I would still recommend this place for the showroom, selection, and the help we received from Polina. Just be aware that the follow-through and communication may not match that initial experience.
