NUG El Cerrito is a great place for your Medical/Recreational needs. I just saw this place while driving down San Pablo Ave. I didn't know how bad the east bay needed a place dispensary like this! I could tell once they are done setting up at 100% capacity they will do marvelous at aiding my community. The prices are average for a cannabis dispensary but customer service is supreme! They were all eager to help me with my needs and made sure I had a great time, which I did! Nilesh helped me through out my purchase and was very knowledgeable about all products. Even the security were good people! Only thing they have to do know is implement more deals and create a system where they can notify us about said deals via phone number. I honestly like the store and the products but they need to update their system. For the month of july ALL nug vape cartridges are $40. So for the first 2 weeks of july I order online and the correct price is reflected when I show up.l. Towards the middle of july I notice the products went back to original price $51. When I mention it to the bud tender she gets a manager and they correct the mistake no biggie. I was thinking this was a 1 time thing and they'd correct the menu to reflect the promotional price. Nope I order again online and when I show up a manager has to correct the price. Now I don't mind a mistake or 2 but its obvious you guys have been charging customers the original price instead of the promotional price. I mentioned to staff they should change it to reflect the right prices in order to avoid conflict but they refused. I went yesterday 7/31 to get 1 more cartridge before the promotion ended and had a horrible experience. As I was explaining to the bud tender the situation he goes to get a manager to confirm the info I'm telling him. No biggie this has become part of my july routine. As I'm explaining to the manager the story he has the most blank uninterested look in his eyes. As if he isnt listening or paying attention. After I finish explaining he continues to have this blank stare. I do have a mask on so I assume he didnt hear me by his lack of a response so I proceed to repeat myself. Same tone of voice. Very non-confrontational. He then says I don't appreciate your attitude and pulls me over to the side. I explain to him I'm not being rude and there's no attitude. I really like this club's product but I don't like the vibe/energy I received from management. On top of that yesterday the management didnt fully apply the discount to my product smh. I've already been meaning to take a break. Thanks for the push nug management. Their security is worried about dumb shit. I parked in reverse in the parking lot and this overpaid door greeter came up to my window to tell me I needed to park the correct way. I asked why? I've been coming here since they open, spend hundreds of dollars here a month and this was the first time I've heard of this rule. He ignored my question and just repeated "you need to park the correct way" I saw someone backing into a spot right across from me, so I said "okay are you going to tell them that too?" To which he responded "it's just this side". I took my business to 7 Stars. NUG lost a loyal ass customer I know plenty of the bud tenders on a first name basis, this WAS my favorite dispensary in the bay until this encounter. read more

I usually have had no problems coming in here, i always come out satisfied and with what i want. And usually come with other people too to have them get something. However this last time I went, i bought two carts ( i usually only get one every visit) & i saved one for when i finished the first so I can save a trip. Definitely don't go into close to closing had a very bad experience the other night , pre ordered a weekly deal , when got the store I asked to add a second item same as the one I pre ordered. The budtender carelessly charged me regular price for the second item and gave me 30% only in the pre ordered item when all item from that distributor wee discounted that day . Soo I was almost an extra 20$ and when I questioned the budtender gave a bogus answer & gave me a receipt that only reflected one item so for all I know the budtender could have pockets that money .. I then ask the manager about and he further more insults my intelligence by saying all kinds of bs telling me I got "hooked up " totally over looked my receipt and took it as far as ringing up a bogus Order and completely removing the days deal to make it look as if they were correct.. seems like they all get high on there lunches or breaks and when it times for closing they're all burnt out and rude to customers.. definitely the last time I'll spend money there . read more

I've visited this dispensary a few times and every single time the customer service is the worse! Never greeted past the check in counter. I usually order online and just stand in the line as budtenders walk past me without anyone acknowledging me. Never get asked to redeem any of my points or offered the deals. I've left without being given back my receipt and budtenders don't seem completely educated on the product. The security is more helpful and friendlier. Please take the time to re-educate your employees on good customer service especially since so much money is spent by your customers and help keep you in business. read more

Horrible customer service & a complicated shopping experience. The concept of the dispensary is unstructured & chaotic. 3 other people were helped before I was, even though I had been standing in line before all of them. The staff did not approach me to see if I had any questions or to ask if I was ready to order. Instead, it seemed like they were avoiding me/didn't want to assist me. I cannot support a company that does not comfort their guests. I was being rushed out the door, and given attitude because I was "taking too long" to choose my choice of product. I've been a regular costumer for the last couple of months, always spending over $200 on cannabis products. Even though the cannabis isn't great at this location, nor does it change, I would still go to support my local shop by being a regular costumer. This review is in response to several yelperes getting mad at security for backing their cars into the parking lot spaces. There is a reason why they don't want you backing ur car in -- since the business doors and windows are adjacent to the parking spots if you back in your car the smell from the exhaust seeps into the business and the whole place inside smells like diesel or gas emissions. It's worse on hot days or those certain individuals who still have old classic cars that have no emissions control review their cars when they start them. As respect to the workers inside if everyone kept backing in it would pose discomfort for everyone inside every few seconds the smell of gasoline would come. Prolonged exposure can cause cancers or other health effects. As a customer I agree with this rule and anyone complaining should try to better understand why. Shopping at Nug El Cerrito was easy. I ordered online and a couple hours later picked up the order. I enjoy the cartridges I bought. Overall, the staff are friendly and experience was enjoyable. However, I'd shop here more if they carried my favorite brand, Brite Labs vape pods. read more
