The falafels are fantastic. I once asked the chef why they were so much better than the other middle eastern food places. "The others use a mix, we make em from scratch." They are far better than any falafels I have tried and they come with tahini sauce. I have also had the kefta meatball plate . .delicious. Their rice is wonderful, too. I have tried all the greek/middle eastern restaurants. Petra, both Pacific Grove & Monterey Petra Cafe, are by far the best. Many locals come once or twice a week, some for 25 years.
