There were over 100 hail dents on it…read moreand some of them fairly deep, as we were driving it to get home and in the garage during the storm. Our insurance company (Farmers Insurance) worked directly with Carstar, which made the whole interaction very easy. They fixed every dent with Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) and did such a terrific job that it is impossible to tell that there was any damage on the car, or that any liners or panels were removed in the process. Not only was the repair job exceptional, but they washed the exterior and apparently detailed the interior during the service! Our car is the cleanest that it has been since we bought it new. The total repair (and detail) was complete in 3 business days. They started Monday morning and I got a call first thing Thursday morning that it was done... which was much faster than I had expected. J.K. dealt with us, and he was professional, straight shooting and a delight to do business with. I'm a perfectionist and hardly take my vehicles anywhere to have work on them other than tires.. but this repair was way out of my wheelhouse. I scrutinized the work done and was thrilled. It is very difficult to meet my perfectionist expectations. Carstar not only met them, but exceeded them! I would not hesitate to take my car back to them for any type of body work. While I was there, there was a car in their back lot that caught my attention... I asked J.K. if I could take a closer look. The car itself was nothing too special, but what I thought was a paint job was exceptional. J.K. quickly explained that it wasn't a paint job, but a wrap! I couldn't believe it! Even close up and touching it, I couldn't tell it was a wrap! It wasn't until J.K. opened a door to show where the wrap ended that it was evident that it was a wrap. I was astonished! I would highly recommend Carstar for any body work needs.

He is in the process of finishing it a third time and lied dozens of times on completion and so warned him i was going to sue if he can't complete the job or be honest about the completion timeline i would be forced to take legal action. his solution is to return an unfinished product... thats the jist. he is a liar and will steal your money.

For my Subaru STI, they did wonders with my new bumper and paint match, but they were unable to fix my fog bezels they said I should take my Subie home and make an appointment at a later time, but then the next day my adjuster called me and told me the shop told them that they were not going to fix my fog bezels because it was not broken, which in fact they were, so I had to take my Subie to another Collision shop and they were able to fix it in less than a day and get me new fog lights and bezels, I do not know why Cutrubus did not do this when they had my Subie for 4 days. The office staff I spoke to were nice to me, but for them to lie to me and tell me one thing and then I find out the next day something different really hurt me. I will no longer be coming to Cutrubus I do not like being lied to. But thank you for your time and for fixing my Subie and Jeep the best your shop could have apparently.

1 STAR - ABSOLUTELY DISHONEST AND UNPROFESSIONAL…read more This place is a nightmare, and I regret ever bringing my car here. I initially went to this body shop on December 2nd just to get a quote. They took photos of the body damage and then told me I had engine damage that "had to be sent to their mechanic." I was told that was necessary to move forward, so I dropped my car off on December 5th. From that point on, communication was almost nonexistent. They sent me a body estimate and repeatedly told me they were "waiting on the mechanic." My insurance adjuster didn't even inspect the car until December 9th, yet Allstate issued a payment that same day--a payment I never signed for, never authorized, and never agreed could be cashed. Weeks went by with no updates. On December 15th, they again claimed they were still waiting on their mechanic. Then I heard nothing until December 29th. When I told them I wanted to move my car to another shop due to the ridiculous delays, I was suddenly told I couldn't--because they had already cashed the insurance check without my authorization. At that point, I didn't know better and felt trapped, so I reluctantly agreed to continue. Big mistake. They didn't submit the mechanic's estimate until January 5th, at which point they conveniently decided the engine issue "wasn't related to the accident"--despite the fact that my engine had ZERO leaks before the accident. On January 8th, I demanded my check back and told them I would pick up my car on January 12th. I was told it would take two weeks to return the money. It is now January 28th, and I still do not have my check. To make matters worse, I contacted their corporate office and spoke to someone named Chris, who said he would "look into it." Instead of helping, he falsely told the body shop that I approved the repairs--which I absolutely did NOT. The body shop then texted me claiming I had approved work and needed to bring my car back. That never happened. Let me be very clear: I never signed anything. I never authorized payment. I never approved repairs. This shop cashed a check without consent, stalled for over a month, withheld funds they have no right to, and then tried to cover themselves by falsely claiming I approved work. This is not just incompetence--this is unethical business behavior. If you value your time, your money, or your vehicle, stay far away from this place.

Caliber refused to write up the estimate to include all damage done by the accident saying they weren't there when it happened so they were unsure if it was part of the damage. Provided before and after pictures proving the damage was done by accident. Their response "ma'am, we represent the insurance company, not you. We have to write up the estimates to pay out as little as possible and still get it fixed according to what we see as reasonable". They wrote up the estimate for $350. Took it to 4 other body shops, all of whom had an estimate of over $3000. If you want a bodyshop who works for an insurance company rather than for you, go here.
