It looked completely new (about six winters old). Croft straightened all the blades, made the secondary propeller hum once again (or whatever the thing is that shoots the snow up through the tube). And, the coup de grace -- the beaten and worn scraper was beautifully finished with a new, perfectly straight blade. They've provided the same great attention to our chainsaws. Plus, they are always upfront about something being worthy (or not) of repair. Great shop.

On November,13 2025 I called Paul's All Right (Wrong) Sales & Services about repairing my…read moresnowblower. I mentioned that I had my snowblower repaired last year and thought it was $25.00 for pickup and delivery because they said it would be $35.00 now. And I remember they use to do it for free probably because they were hard up for business. Robbie started to get a little irritated at me. We talked about what was wrong withe machine. He said it would need the cable and probably the dashboard too and it would cost $90 for labor $67.00 for parts and $35.00 for pickup and delivery total $192.00 plus tax about $200. So I said just come and pick it up, they said okay it will probably be tomorrow. They called me a couple hours later and said can they pick it up now? I said sure. The very next day they called me and said we will need to order the parts from a different place because Husqvarna is out until March of 2026. I will cost $20.00 more. He also said that I should also get these things fix the Auger is bent and the Scraper blade all need to be replaced. Total charge would be $550.00, I said I will get back to you. I went down to to the shop and Talked to Emily I told her I could get all the parts for $67.00 the dashboard and cable through Amazon. Emily said we don't buy through Amazon. I said how much it will be she said $240.00 I said including tax? Then I took a business card and wrote down $240 she didn't say anything, then I left. Emily called me up November 24 at 2.36 pm and said your snow blower is ready and its $252 and you need to pay for it and we will bring it up. I immediately said we agreed on $240.00 including tax she said there's $12.00 shipping. We argued and I think I said why are being such a bitch. Anyway we continued argue about the extra $12.00 then she hung up on me. I called her back and said I will give you a credit card but I will back charge the extra $12.00 she said I need cash then. I called a few days later I have cashiers check they said they will not take it only cash and you have been a pain in the ass speaking real loud yelling at me. Then they said I have 30 days to pick it up. If you look around on the internet you will see all the negative comments about them including the Better Business Bureau. Their customer service is horrible mainly with Emily. Some of the other complaint is how they find other problems with your machine other than what you wanted fix. They also told people that their machine was a piece of sh*t. They have also told customers to get the F**K off their property. This company should not be in business please do not do business with them you will probably regret it. My name Paul Guymon I have lived in Bountiful for 35 years and have been treated this bad by any business. When I called Paul's to pay for my snow blower repair they told me that Croft doesn't want my business. I went to Croft on last Friday to talk about their Honda snow blower and maybe buy one. I told one salesman about my problem with Paul's he must have called them and they told their side of the story. If its true that an employee said that Croft doesn't want my business. That employee needs be taught that all customers are important. I don't think Croft is anything like Paul's they try their best to treat customers with the best respect. If you look at the comment about Paul's company on yelp, BBB and others you can read they treat some of their customer like crap. They use foul language and threaten them.

That said, having just made the first of many credit card payments for work I never would have had done given the full scope of what my vehicle needed, I feel compelled to prevent this from happening to anyone else. While the actual work done here seems fairly competent, the diagnostic process seems about as accurate as playing darts blindfolded. I brought my car in because it was creaking misfiring, and the check engine light was on. I told them that I believed my engine mounts were worn out and that I also needed a diagnoses for the misfiring. They told me that the cause for the misfiring was likely that my spark plugs and ignition coils were worn out, because that usually happens around 100k miles and my vehicle was past that. I agreed to have them replaced along with new engine mounts, to the tune of $2,600. I was told that after this my vehicle would be like a totally different car. The very next day, my car misfired again and the check engine light came back on. When I brought it back, they informed me that they don't have any way of knowing this fo sure, but I probably actually had a blown head gasket. I brought my car to a different mechanic shop who did a full and complete diagnostic from bumper to bumper and took photos of everything wrong with the car- from a blown head gasket to a leaking transmission to almost completely worn wheel bushings and a host of other problems totaling over $8,200 in addition to the $2,600 I had already paid at Red Rock Auto. Had I known this in the first place, I never would have paid $2,600 on a doomed old van that needed almost $11,000 in work done. I had to buy a new van and that $2,600 would have really helped with the down payment. I'm tempted to say that I feel duped, but I don't think there was any malice or fraud going on- just general laziness or incompetence in the diagnostic process that very negatively affected me.
