Nick Forehand was helpful throughout the process, answering our questions and making us feel comfortable with the decision. The installation team was great as well--professional, efficient, and respectful of our home. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Replacing our windows has been one of the best upgrades we've made to our home, and we're very happy with the results. We would definitely recommend American Vision Windows to anyone considering new windows.

We should have went with window world. American Vision Windows was not the lowest cost, but we…read morefelt they were the most qualified. We were wrong. Here are a few of the issues we dealt with them on. We were offered $75 refund (off of an almost $50k bill) for taking a delivered door that was damaged, or a month delay to reorder. Much to their surprise, we took the delay, and it was delivered much quicker. American Vision Windows tried pushing their project management off on me by asking me to report to them if their sub contractors did not show up. I had to tell them that was their responsibility, but ended up having to call them on multiple dates to let them know work had not been done. After the install was "complete" there were areas where daylight was visible through the framing and wall. Sliding doors were installed where more than half of the threshold was unsupported causing warpage and binding. Within 30 days, caulking was failing (still an ongoing issue), roller tracks warped from southside exposure (also still an ongoing issue) resulting in sliders unable to open (even though we paid extra to have their "south west desert tested windows" installed), interior trim falling off. Other issues include sub contractors showing up hours late, or not at all, wanted to charge me extra to install a light even though it was included in their quote (note that the light was required per local code), stucco sub contractors beat on exterior of wall hard enough to knock off items hanging on interior wall and break, door undersized for opening and the use of fiberboard used to shim the security locks. As of a few years later, I am still dealing with water infiltration issues, and warping threshold that make opening the door impossible. Threshold have had to be replaced at least 4 times due to warpage and the inability to open doors. Which is a safety concern. Individuals who were part of these issues were Elias Arreola, and Thomas Foster among others. If you are unfortunate enough to have American Vision Windows on your property, and have these guys assigned to your remodel, ask for someone else, or better yet run away and count your lost time as lessons learned. American Vision Windows will tell you they provide a lifetime warranty on the windows. It is just a pass through from the manufacturer. The only thing AVW provide a warranty on is the workmanship, which you can see from my pictures is horrible, and it is only good for 1 year. This was the worst $50K I have ever spent. Again, these guys were not the lowest cost we were quoted, we were not looking for low bid. We were looking for a quality install/product and we were dupped.

The only reason only 4 stars is the install crew left a mess inside and out (tiny plastic particles under all new windows and over the driveway, black smudges on a couple walls, particles of cut block on the floor inside and geound outside) Mike offered to clean up after, but we had already seen to it. He insisted that's not how they do business.

WARNING: The money you spend here does NOT match the quality of work or the level of customer…read moreservice you receive. The attached pictures of the work and our text interactions are all the proof that's really needed. Our windows were installed by this company in 2022. Make sure you thoroughly inspect and evaluate your windows well before the 2-year mark! Once two years pass, it becomes extremely difficult to file a formal complaint or claim warranty support, which leaves you completely on the hook for their mistakes. Writing this review so that we can help someone. Just like many other reviews, we were initially very happy with the window installation at first. However, here we are 4 years later dealing with active leaks that have caused interior drywall and patio damage. We had an independent inspector evaluate the windows, and they confirmed the original caulking job was rushed, improperly sealed, and poorly executed. There was some areas where the caulking wasn't even applied. Please take time to see the pictures. When we reached out regarding the water damage, the unprofessionalism of their team was unbelievable. Instead of taking accountability or offering a real solution, Kris was dismissive, sarcastic and condescending--telling us to "Take a walk, grab a beer. Cool off bro". They also said it was basically our fault for not maintaining the windows by painting the caulking, which we were never informed to do. They tried to smooth things over by offering a complimentary recaulking, but that simply isn't right--a free patch job doesn't fix the drywall damage or make up for a job that should have been done correctly in the first place. We sent them the invoice hoping they would cover any amount of the patio damage resulting from the leaking window, and we still have not heard back. You pay a premium for new windows so you don't have to deal with leaks, home damage, and poor workmanship. To pay that amount of money only to be met with cheap quality and blatant unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. Please inspect every exterior seal thoroughly as soon as possible.

What you get: quality, affordability, transparent paperwork (no digital signing), no drawn-out sales pitch, and great customer service all around. John also offered to have the SRP rebate paperwork completed for me, which made the process so much easier. The two-man installation crew, Shawn and his right-hand man, were efficient and professional. Another thing I liked--Imperial has its own installation crew, not outside contractors. I couldn't be happier with my new windows. I'm all smiles and I see things more clearly now :)

We chose Milgard Fiberglass C700 windows and are very pleased we chose these windows and K & J Windows. We acquired multiple bids and did our research and K & J Windows stood out above the rest. From our first interaction to the completed installation; K & J Windows were professional, polite, and kept up thorough communication. The installation crews were excellent, and did a wonderful job, there was no damage (steel frames in block took some work to remove) and the new windows look great! It is amazing how these new windows changed the look of our home from the outside, and also from the inside when looking out through the new windows. Kudos to K & J Windows for an absolutely stellar job!

Extremely disappointing experience with K&J Windows. I would not recommend this company…read more Our sales representative was great, but almost everything after the sale was a completely different experience. Our Milgard windows arrived at K&J's warehouse on time, yet the owner and office continued telling us they had not arrived. I eventually confirmed through one of their installers that the windows were already there. Only after I called K&J and told them I knew they had been delivered did the story change. I was then told installation would be more than another month away. Before ordering, K&J sent out the installer the owner described as their "best installer" because our job was complicated. He inspected everything beforehand to confirm measurements, window types, and installation requirements. After our windows arrived, we learned the installers we had been working with were no longer working with K&J. We were told K&J had a major installation backlog and had hired another crew. That crew subsequently stopped working with them as well. The delays and misinformation we had been receiving suddenly made much more sense. Things became worse when I met the owner. He was extremely rude and dismissive toward my wife. While walking the project with another installer, he repeatedly interrupted everyone and told them to stop talking and listen to him because he knew what he was doing. He then announced that ALL of our windows were wrong, blamed the installers who had left, and said K&J could no longer complete our job and would have to refund us. At this point, WE HAD ALREADY WAITED OVER SIX MONTHS. With the owner standing there, I asked the installer directly if the windows were actually wrong. He disagreed with the owner and explained why they could be installed correctly. At that point, I completely lost confidence in K&J and chose to have the original installers complete the job independently--the same installers the owner and sales representative had previously praised as their best people. I also learned K&J sells the windows but uses subcontractors for installation. Anyone considering them should get clear answers IN WRITING about exactly who will install your windows and who is responsible for installation workmanship, repairs, and warranty issues. The final straw came when we picked up our windows from their warehouse. The owner, his son, and other employees were there. Their behavior toward both me and the installers was rude, confrontational, aggressive, and incredibly unprofessional. Comments made during that interaction also reinforced my belief that customers were being told their windows had not arrived when the actual problem was K&J's installation backlog. The Milgard windows themselves were never the problem. They arrived as expected, and our initial sales experience was good. The problems were K&J's communication, scheduling, management, treatment of customers and installers, and the owner's handling of our project. What was even more concerning was what happened when we started sharing our experience with friends, family, and others in our neighborhood. Multiple people told us they had the SAME OR VERY SIMILAR experiences with K&J. Some actually told us they wished they had known we were considering K&J beforehand because they would have warned us not to use them. I really wish we had talked to them first. After more than SIX MONTHS of waiting, contradictory information, multiple installation crews leaving, being told our windows weren't there when they were, and ultimately being told K&J couldn't complete the job, we had enough. I have dealt with many contractors and businesses over the years and have rarely experienced leadership and customer service this poor. Based on our experience--and after hearing remarkably similar stories from people we personally know--I would absolutely NOT use K&J Windows again or recommend them to friends, family, or neighbors.

The proprietor, Matt, and I agreed upon a price, and was told he'd take measurements before installation. Since then, I've received texts about unexpected delays, both professional and personal, with assurances that the windows will indeed be installed once all these events subside. From March through June, I followed up and followed up, only to receive excuses/explanations about this or that unforeseen event that hasn't allowed him to complete installation, but not to worry, it will get done. After four months of unfilled promises, three days ago I finally texted him to ask if the job was going to get done at all. I just need an answer one way or the other so I can plan on how to proceed and if I need to contact another company. This time there were no excuses/explanations...he simply ghosted me. After all this time, I get neither an installation nor even the courtesy of a phone call to explain why. To string a customer along for four months to ultimately just ignore him, that's no way to do business. The only reason I left two stars instead of one is the few times I actually spoke to Matt, he was polite. So, I give him a star for that. But he sure didn't fulfill his promise, and there's no reason to treat customers this way.
