I wanted to try out this black owned restaurant, so I ordered a turkey burger, do you know that the turkey burger came in a PITA bread, not a bun! Very disappointing taste. So I decided maybe they ran out of buns and I though let me try them again in a couple of months. So I placed and order in April about 6pm. I order chicken wings, parmesan potato wedges and cold slaw, the biggest mistake of all. The wings were fried hard and the parmesan potato wedges were also fried hard, very dark brown and didn't taste any parmesan. The only part of this meal that was good, was the cold slaw. The gentleman took my order over the phone sounded professional and courteous. I arrived to a clean quiet restaurant that's was well lit. I immediately smelled bbq sauce. A neighbor said I needed to go so I went. I got a 3 wing and catfish dinner with two sides- potato wedges and Mac and cheese. It was so big I had to move some out to take a pic! The filets were huge. I ordered fried hard and guess what I got? Fried hard! Imagine that! It was ready fast so when I picked it up it was hot and crispy. This dinner is enough for me and my husband. It also came with crispy pita. Mac and cheese wasn't bad. We like a little more seasoning on things so we added a little something. Otherwise it was pretty good! The meal came with sauce of our choosing. There are also grilled options that I want to try along with sandwich combos. Still pretty new so the place is clean. The green beans over salty I want to redo it myself and put some butter in it to numb it down with a little pepper in jt but that's why I ordered togo #NotMyProblem. Mac cheese cool the turkey tenders I don't know who's doing the seasoning thing over there with It, was a tad bit salty as well because I use Louisiana hot sauce on it, and it was salty. But I said let me try one without it and it was it was it was cool. Made a sandwich out of it overall experience for my second time, mac & cheese cool 7.0 green beans, 4.3, turkey tenders 6.9. Overall the ambience of the establishment is impeccable. It's like I didn't see a speck of dust or anything like that. You guys are very very clean 100% on that. Nu-Way Grill review: My mom and I stopped in a new take-out place in our plaza today for dinner. The new place is called Nu-way Grill. It is a small soul food place that sells fresh and delightful soul food like fried catfish, burgers, turkey tenders, chicken tenders, and desserts. They also have some fresh made sides. The owners are named Janet and Burnett(husband and wife team). They have a combined 50 years of restaurant and management experience in the industry. The husband is originally from Belize. Burnett and Janet have been in the Chicago area for over 40 years. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I met Burnett and one of his employees. They were both extremely friendly and shared valuable information about their restaurant. We ordered the 15 wing special, fries, slaw. I ordered a small fried shrimp dinner for myself. I also ordered their homemade chocolate chip cookies. Everything tasted super fresh and crispy. The chocolate cookies were soft and chewy which is just the way I like my cookies. I would definitely recommend Nu-Way Grill. You will not be disappointed. 5 stars! (I met Mrs. Janet a few weeks ago when I stopped in to grab a menu. ) read more

i loved the ribs the first and second time when i ordered, but when i ordered for a third time, those ribs wasnt nothing like the first 2 orders, and i paid much more money for a bucket of ribs for my third order, and the bucket of ribs was very tough and i was given the worst ribs, nothing was soft and tender at all like the first 2 orders, i paid extra money for b.s i felt very insulted, i know they could do much better, both my first orders proved that, i been to upset and never been back. read more

The fish was was not catfish and it was fried too soft & crumbly, the shrimp was over cooked & dry, the fries looked scary -dead, the Mac was dry. After first bite - yuk! Everything was fresh, hot and very tasty. The chicken wings taste homemade. So good. The custom painted artwork made me smile.

The space itself is very nice. Spacious, clean, cool art work on the walls and I love the checkered flooring. The customer service is amazing. The cashier was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Good customer service is rare these days so it was refreshing.
