I used to do all my friends' makeup in college and tried to keep up to date on new products and technique, not so much anymore, but needless to say when I got engaged I knew that finding the right crew to do my makeup that wasn't out of NYC would be tricky. Booking the Bloom girls was one of the best vendor choices I made. Their work was outstanding and they did a great job keeping everyone on schedule (I had ten bridesmaids so this was important). Good personality fit was also very important in my opinion when booking your makeup artist for your wedding day because you're going to be spending the day with them. I had one makeup and hair trial before them which not only was a complete disaster, but the girl wasn't friendly...which kind of boggled me. The Bloom girls are sweet, kind, and make you feel like you should on your wedding day, special and like the most beautiful you can be with their talent. I told them that their secret won't be kept for long and already I know they are booking fast (as they should). Sidenote: my mother who is like me, except she has never let anyone touch her face and do her makeup in her life even caved and let them do her makeup for my wedding the morning of. She loved it, which is saying a lot. She looked amazing. I attached some pictures of them in action and their beautiful work. Thank you Bloom!!! You girls rock!!!

I recently stopped by Jenna's Salon during a work trip to the area…read more I booked online and somehow ended up navigating to this location when in fact my appointment was at their other location. They could not have been more kind about it. Truly. Absolute gems of humans working in here. Due to scheduling constraints (mine), I didn't have the time to drive to their other location and still get my hair done in time for upcoming meetings I had. Again, this was not their fault nor the fault of the other location--and still they so incredibly kindly fit me in with a stylist (Sidney) here. I'm so glad they did! Sidney was lovely. She does impeccable work and is so thoughtful in her approach. She was thorough in her questions so that she could be sure to get me the color and cut I was looking for. She also had Lilly assisting her throughout my experience (since they were squeezing me in, it needed to be a group effort) and Lilly was equally lovely. The head massage she gave me during my shampoo was exactly what I needed after a couple stressful days of travel. Their prices are reasonable. Everyone I met here (from the owner to the stylists helping me to other stylists working the morning I was in) were warm and welcoming. The shop itself is chic and clean. And, the best part? A beautiful cut and exactly the color I was hoping for. And, even better? I didn't have to restyle my hair when I left (this never happens!). Sidney styled it beautifully and left me feeling refreshed and confident. Thank you, thank you!

My hair always tends to go reddish and I like ash blonde - she got rid of my grays and nailed the ash! She also made it extra bouncy tonight as I am sleeping on it and running to a family reunion tomorrow. One important thing to note that was unique - everyone really seemed to love their job, and get along, it was a great vibe. I also went in stressed and was offered a menu of adult beverages - how perfect! I'm attaching the before and after pictures.

She was so fun to talk to and I'm so glad I was able to find someone who could understand my hair. If you are looking for help with color absolutely check her out!
