Literally the worst delivery company. Placed an order with Amazon and a scheduled delivery time using NSD (day and time) which was 2 weeks in advance. On the day of the scheduled delivery, after taking off work to make sure I was home, I waited and waited. After the deliver window ended with no delivery I called Amazon to inquire what was going on. They called NSD and was told the delivery was rescheduled for a full week later because "it was too far away" to deliver as scheduled so they simply moved out the delivery. No notification, no phone call, no email, no communication at all. This company is terrible. read more

If I could give a lower rating, I would. I purchased a bathroom vanity from Home Depot that I ended up not using, so I initiated a return on July 5 and was routed to NSD for pickup at my house. It is now August 23 and the vanity is still sitting in my garage. I've tried calling the 800 number as instructed to schedule pickup, but run into two problems: 1) the automated system doesn't allow you to input the complete tracking number before cutting you off, and 2) I sit on hold for 15 minutes before getting an automated message saying I'll receive a call back and being hung up on. I've never received a call back after dozens of calls. I tried emailing the standard customer service email and heard back exactly once - the day I got my tracking number, assuring me that I'd get a call or email back to schedule pickup. I've never gotten another response to an email, no matter whether I replied to the existing email chain or submitted a new request via the website. The chat feature on their website has been useless since the customer service reps assigned to the chat apparently do not have access to scheduling, and they refuse to give out any direct phone numbers that would allow me to contact the local office myself. To make all of this even worse, Home Depot tells me that NSD canceled my return twice claiming that they have been unable to reach me. Home Depot has all of my contact information, so I cannot imagine what NSD's excuse is for never sending me a single message via email, text, or voicemail. I see that some other reviewers had success with an alternate customer service email, but I shouldn't have to hunt for a super-secret avenue to get ahold of someone and I definitely should not have to deal with a company that will lie about its customers rather than own up to their service issues. read more

I know they are hurting for help, but I received a call a week in advance of delivery they would be delivering my bed from JCPenny. The day before delivery they called to set up delivery time, then a call that night around 8:30 they couldn't deliver the next day and suggested a week delay. I had just broken our old bed down and had no bed to sleep on. I spent that next afternoon having to go pick it up my self. Fyi, Ryder delivery service was supposed to be the service used but they must have subcontracted the service to NSD. I have let JCPenny know Ryder didn't or couldn't deliver and NSD also had issues. read more

In November I placed an order through Amazon for what was supposed to be a Christmas present for my wife. This item was both large and expensive - enough so that, unlike most of my Amazon orders, it required a signature upon delivery. I scheduled a delivery on a day that I knew my wife would be working (don't want the gift to be spoiled) and that I could take some time off from work. So, finally the day arrives, I'm ready to take a partial day off from work and come home to en empty house to receive the gift. Actually, let's rewind 14 hours first. At 10:38 the night before scheduled delivery I received a phone call from a restricted number. I was in bed, so I didn't answer and when I listened to the voicemail that morning it asked if I could switch my delivery window to a morning one, please call us back at this number to confirm. Three things: First, 10:38 at night is WAY too late to be calling a residential number, thankfully my phone was set to silent but I'd have been pissed had I been awakened at that time. Second, I can't switch the delivery window with less than 12 hours notice because I work and made arrangements to be home in the afternoon, not the morning. Thirdly, I can't call you back because the message said to call back at "this number" which showed on my phone as restricted. I guess the next part is my fault because I didn't call back, but at 8:36 the next morning I got a call from the delivery driver saying he had arrived. Ummm, no? There was nobody available to receive, and sign for, the package. I explained that the expected window was between 12-3 and he just quickly said 'no problem' and that was that. Three o'clock rolls around, nothing. I give half an hour because delays happen. Nothing. After 45 minutes I'd expect contact from the carrier to at least explain a delay. I give an hour before I contact anyone. When I do, they promise it's on it's way. I really want this to arrive before my wife so I ask if they can give me an ETA, if it's going to be close I can send her on an errand to delay her. Nope, can't do that. Dispatch is closed you see, there's no way to contact the driver. What? Really? That seems really strange to me. A couple hours later, no package, no driver. Let's get back in that customer service chat. It's on its way, I assure you. I can't tell you when and I can't tell you where the driver is (dispatch is closed, you see), but it's coming. Can you promise that it's coming? "Well, no i can't but I've seen deliveries made as late as 11:30, don't worry he'll call you when he's on his way." Ok man, I really do want this delivery tonight, but I get up for work at 4:00 each morning, if my phone rings that late at night I'm going to be pissed and would consider such a late call to be completely unprofessional on your end. "I understand completely, but we can't contact the driver so he'll call when he gets there". Ok, but it's time for me to go to bed, what happens if it doesn't get here tonight? Literally, "I don't know". Not we can reschedule, not we'll make sure it's the next delivery on the truck, but "I don't know". So, here I am, two days before Christmas (and this is probably my fault for choosing a last minute delivery date even though the order was over a month in advance) with my gift completely lost because the company can't honor it's delivery window (at this point, nearly six hours late, I wonder if they even had the ability to honor that window). That's not even the most frustrating part though. Even worse is the fact that they can't tell me anything. Will it be delivered tonight? Maybe, but I can't guarantee it. We might call you for a signature, even if it's long after you've gone to bed. See, the driver shouldn't return to dispatch with deliveries still on his truck, no matter how long it takes (absurd I say at this late hour with signature required deliveries. DO NOT BOTHER ME AFTER 9PM). Will it be delivered tomorrow? That depends, we can reschedule now (no good, I can't take another vacation day), but if the delivery is attempted and unable to be completed we don't reattempt the delivery, we'll send it back. I'm going to bed. I told my wife she doesn't get her Christmas gift this year (not on time anyway). Yeah, I'm frustrated that it's late, but I'm more frustrated with the customer service experience (or lack of) with this company. I am so frustrated that I don't even want to buy another thing from Home Depot. I ordered a bathtub that was delivered by a different company that took forever and when it came it was damaged. The box was so damaged that it looked like someone threw it out of the truck and it rolled down the driveway. Needless to say the tub was cracked and had a big hole it it. Home Depot claims that NSD would contact me to schedule pick up to return it. This was April 12 and I haven't heard from anyone. I've tried calling and can't get anyone on the phone. I have been trying to contact this company. I ordered through home depot a vanity for a bathroom remodel project. They do NOT answer or call back. I have tried calling about 10 times (on hold about 30-40 minutes each time) and no one answers. i tried online chat NO ONE ANSWERS. Either this company doesn't exist, or is the worst customer service that i have ever experienced. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced in my life. I would give zero stars if I could. Still to this day I do not have the item I purchased. Ordered Jan 11, ETA Jan 18th. Its Feb 15th at the time of writing this. Item is sitting in their warehouse. Delivery date has been pushed back over and over. I have sent emails, talked to multiple people on the phone, NSD/Hub Group executives, filed a complaint with Lowes Customer Service (where I purchased the product). Customer service rep from NSD was extremely rude and condescending each time we talked. The reasoning they gave me for not delivering my items? Because there is not enough stuff to fill up their truck to deliver to my location. Total bullcrap and not my problem. They said I could drive to their warehouse 3 hours away and pick up my item, or I could reschedule for the 26th to the 29th. Which is almost a month and a half from the original delivery date. I ordered several large pieces of furniture and was informed (repeatedly) that I would be contacted to schedule local delivery. One day I came home from a bike ride, and all the furniture was on a pallet in my driveway in front of my garage. My car was blocked in. I do not understand why I was not contacted so I could have help ready to move the pieces in. I had to frantically empty and remove old furniture then move in the new pieces. Luckily, I was able to round up people that same day to help me. It all worked out, and the furniture was mostly in good condition, but it sure would have been nice to be contacted first. read more

I have emailed multiple times to 3 different emails i see here on yelp to get answers for my missing package to (extramile@hubgroup.com, Plynch@nonstopdelivery.com, customercare@shipnsd.atlassian.net) and also spoke with an agent through their chat in their site regarding my order from home depot that was shipped via nsd carrier. My package was turned over by ontrac carrier to nsd on 5/1/23 and was supposed to be delivered on 5/2/23 during 2:15-5:15pm to my house. I have not received my packages. I tried to call tel:1-833-744-7673 to get a status update since the tracking on the site has not been updated since 5/2/23. This turned out to be futile since there is no actual person on the other line and it just gave an automated message that it will be arriving 5/3/23 by 1-4pm. My package did not arrive yet again. No emails or texts has been sent to update me of why it has not been delivered. Its last known location is in rialto. I did ask through nsd's site via chat and was told by one of your agents that I would receive a call regarding my package but there has been no such call or follow up. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and not believe all the other reviews and waited a few more days before i complain here on yelp but there is still no response from them at all!! I really need this item by 5/4/23 but it looks like i will not be receiving it. This is very frustrating since i have taken 2 days off of work to wait for the package. I am not only losing money but also not getting the package they said will be delivered. The only thing consistent about this company is ignoring customers, not updating statuses of delivery in a timely manner, being inconsiderate and incompetent overall!! I waited for the carrier to pick up my return Home Depot package at the scheduled time between 11:30 and 3:30, but they called around lunchtime and said they were lost and would reschedule pickup. I gave them directions, but they said that they were too far away. When I checked the pickup status that same evening, it said that pickup was attempted and they couldn't get in touch with me. I contacted customer service to reschedule pickup, and they assured me that they would let the manager know and would contact me. I never heard from them, so I took the item back to the Home Depot store myself which was 73 miles away from me. I hope Home Depot will stop using this third-party service. read more

I received a call from a unknown number called regarding the delivery and said to contact you if I needed to change the delivery. I left a message twice and I call Amazon support and we were unable to get a call back from you. I wish I could give negative stars. I think the only reason this horrible excuse of a company is still in business is they are in rotation as a delivery provider with Home Depot. My story: I ordered 3 pieces of furniture from Home Depot. They were shipped in two shipments. When they arrived, they were all the wrong items. (Not NSD's fault, but Home Depot's...my review for them is next). NSD was not the original delivery service. No, where NSD comes in is on the return. Because the order was delivered using two shipments, Home Depot scheduled two different pick-ups. The challenge was we weren't going to be home at a certain date and would be gone for a while. The first return pick-up was with UPS. They arrived the next day and picked up the return. I did not hear anything from NSD. I called them to try and schedule a pickup before we departed. Ha ha! After a looong hold time, the computer system said someone would call back, and then hung up on me. I tried NSD's customer service chat. After waiting for more than an hour for a chat person to join, I gave up and logged off. Then I called Home Depot. They TRIED to reach NSD, but nope. Then later I called Home Depot again and they tried again. After about 30 minutes, Home Depot reached them only to be told that NSD would try to call the customer sometime in the next 3 to 5 days, which meant I wouldn't even get a call to schedule a delivery until after we left. The ticking timebomb was the limited number of days from purchase date to return to get a refund from Home Depot. You guessed it...our get home date was after the final return date for Home Depot. read more

worst company ever. delivery was scheduled and no one showed up and no one called. tried to contact HUB Group the parent company and you just sit on hold for hours. tried the chat and after an hour I got someone but they were no help. I tried calling the next day and sat on hold for an hour and was given the option for a call back. it took another hour for the call back and that person couldn't do anything. I asked for a supervisor and she was very rude and refused to even call the terminal or scheduling desk. she said I would just have to wait. keep in mind that I have to be here to accept delivery. It's the next day and I still don't know when this will be delivered. absolutely terrible communication and customer service. It was rescheduled to the next day/evening but they again requested to reschedule for the next day/evening(Sat), which I was unable to confirm. I ordered a vanity top from Amazon, and scheduled the delivery for a Friday between 12 and 3. My wife stayed home from a Christmas party so that she could accept delivery, but they never showed. I contacted them via their chat feature on their website the next morning, the following Monday, and again on Tuesday, twice! and was told each time that I would receive a call from the local terminal to reschedule the delivery and I have yet to receive a call. And, now the tracking number lists my package as delivered, which they've acknowledged as a mistake. This company seems to have no desire to even make an effort at doing what they've been hired to do. Amazon can't get a replacement to us for over two weeks, so that's two weeks with no bathroom sink. Ordered a new weight set through Nordictrack. It arrived at the nearby NSD facility and sat for two weeks. I was told they would call to arrange delivery. They never did. I called the facility and a lady said she would mark the package as "urgent" and said I would be contacted ASAP. After 3 days I called again and was hung up on. I tried 2 more times and was unable to reach anyone. Finally I called Nordictrack and asked them to contact NSD. My package was delivered the following day. It was delivered in the worst condition imaginable. Massive tear hole on the side of the package, ripped and mangled cardboard, barely able to hold itself together. I had to take the weights out to get them into my home. Thankfully didn't order anything fragile. read more

had a poor delivery from Home Depot who used these guys. Shipping included to set grill on our back porch. Unfortunately the 3 guys who delivered it would not carry grill up 3 stairs and 5 feet or so to our back porch. If the delivery had been on time my partner and I may have been able to carry it up the stairs. However since the delivery was a few days late, my partner was away on business so I ended up unboxing the grill and carrying the items to our back deck one by one. As you can see from the pictures it was also raining. All of this, including delivery driver refusing to move grill to a dry place (I also offered up the garage since they could use the Dolley) was also caught on my ring camera. More like stole I'm sure. Anyway, Amazon reordered it for me and this time Estes had the product in NSD's hands in less than 24 hours (a little redemption). My delivery schedule on Amazon still not updated, so I call Amazon who then calls NSD. NSD tells Amazon it should be delivered that day or the next day (today). So I contact NSD AGAIN and they tell me it hasn't been scheduled for delivery. Are you kidding me? At this time they have had it for about 23 hours so I'm a little floored. I ask them how long it takes to schedule and they told me up to 72 hours after they receive it! Are you kidding me??? It's going to take them 3X as long to just schedule a local delivery than it did to get this package from Seattle, to Madison, AL to Des Moines, IA!!! They have told me this has been escalated, but obviously their version of escalation and mine are not even close! I guess they get horrible reviews all over, which is why I can't review them on Google. Definitely going to reach out to Amazon to drop them! read more

I see by all the other negative reviews that I'm not alone in my bad experience with this company. It's so frustrating because there is no way to contact them to get a current update. If you call and stay online while you wait for a representative, you will be told that you will be called back, and then they hang up. There is no callback. Emails are automated non-information. So I've had to file a claim with Lowes for nondelivery and no response from the shipper. This has been a nightmare dealing with a company that has no kind of customer care. I recently ordered 3 different items that either didn't work out or were damaged and it took over a month for them to even schedule a pickup time let alone show up. Also had to call Home depot multiple times because NSD was not contacting me to schedule a pickup time. They were supposed to call us 30 minutes before they would arrive and they didn't call on all 3 different occasions so we missed the pickup time. When all they would tell us the day before is that they would show up sometime from 8-5. Idk how that's a manageable time frame when most people work let alone didn't even call me so I could drive home to be there. nobody is held accountable and they just say "we will reach out to reschedule" One of my three items I was trying to send back I ordered in February and didn't finally get picked up until 3/28/23 only on a fluke we arrived at our house when NSD was leaving. I ordered a 3 piece Husky Rolling tool box set from Home Depot On July 13th, 2022. Estes freight brought 3 large boxes to Michigan and handed off to NSD. ( signed by Curtis). They only delivered 2 (Two) large boxes, neither one being the Main rolling box. The side hanger & the flip up top We're fine, but now I see the shelves for the side hanger a are not here either. prob in the main box. I have the bill of lading from Estes showing 3 boxes and have had 4 conversations with Estes. They confirm dropping 3 large boxes to NSD directly. But NSD doesn't answer phones or email or their "chat" online. It's Pretty obvious what happened here. I suppose there's an outside possibility it's sitting at a Depot, but not likely as it is heavy and 60"+ long. I am currently talking to Law Enforcement and hope to "Find" my rolling tool box. If you want to get your appliance in good condition then pray your shipper didn't choose NSD. These clowns contracted the finally delivery to the lowest common denominator and those geniuses dropped a 280 lb water heater down my basement stairs (after having removed the packaging / all protective materials because they couldn't figure out how to tip/angle a box to get through a doorway that's slightly shorter than the box. Now I am dealing with not just a destroyed water heater THAT THEY LEFT IN MY BASEMENT but figuring out how to be compensated for the damage to my stairs. The only saving grace is neither of their people are hurt thank goodness - but it seems training and safety and smarts are all after-thoughts at NSD. read more

I ordered an elliptical from Proform and when I received the package from NSD, the box was torn and ripped open along one edge. The Styrofoam protector was broken into several pieces. There were several puncture marks on the side as well. I refused delivery. Not accepting something that is damaged before I even put it together and use it. Not acceptable for the money I'm spending. Proform is sending a new one. Hopefully I'll get a different shipper or better treatment!! read more

There were three men who spoke limited English. They had a delivery window of 3:15 - 7:15 and showed up at the very last minute.7:15 pm on the dot. They acted as though they had never delivered a queen mattress before and had difficulty maneuvering the stairs with the landing half way up. (You need to tip the mattress end for end to make the corner at the landing.). They took the mattress and box spring upstairs and leaned them both up against the wall. The instructions said they were to set up the merchandise but they just left them leaned up against the wall.
