I was very unsatisfied with my NordicTrack treadmill delivery today. The box arrived torn apart and not properly handled. Now everything inside the box is exposed and unprotected while it's sitting outside. The movers were also not wearing any masks or gloves which is a huge safety issue and contradicts an email I received stating that they would. Not sure why NordicTrack would want to continue using them unless they're the cheapest and quality and safe delivery is less important. It appears there are many other people here in Yelp who experienced similar issues. In case, someone from NSD is reading this, this is for Tracking Number # 32853856. I also contacted your customer service number (1-833-SHIPNSD) to discuss these issues and left notes with the representative in your Chantilly office so that she can pass on the information to an account manager. She had me on hold for some time while I waited to be transferred to an account manager but she said she was unable to get a hold of them. For this reason, I am writing this to have these issues properly escalated and resolved as I have not received a follow-up call yet as promised. I have already lost several hours documenting and contacting different people while being on hold for very long periods of time. When the delivery team arrived, the issues began almost immediately. Neither one of the two individuals was wearing PPE (gloves or masks) as expected based on the communication from NordicTrack ! This is not only a safety violation of state guidelines but basic professional courtesy during this pandemic. When the treadmill was taken out of the truck, it was placed on a dollie and tilted on its side with the pallet away from the dollie. When the box was lifted in this sideways manner, the heavy items inside (which contain a 22-inch treadmill monitor) could be heard crashing down. The box was clearly labeled as fragile with arrows pointing up and instructing the user to lay it down flat (not sideways). However, it was not handled in this manner. It was eventually laid flat when it was brought to my front door with obvious damage to the box. As seen below, almost all the corners of the box had large tears due to the way the fragile box was handled. This box condition left the treadmill exposed and unprotected upon delivery. Please note the picture which shows a wooden piece leaning on the side of the box which is only for minimal box support. It is bent inward and is the side against which the box was laid when carried on the dollie. Unlike the pallet side, which is still under the box, the sides of the box are not intended to take the full weight of the treadmill which is why items inside were heard banging around when lifted and why the box became so severely damaged. When I took a peek inside the box, there were some signs of scuffs in certain areas (not yet fully unpacked). At the start of the delivery I was handed a piece of paper which provided contact information as well as instructions for signing a Proof of Delivery paper which I did not receive. When I inquired about the paperwork at the end of the delivery, I was told there was no paperwork to sign!? In speaking with your customer service representative, I was told that this paperwork should have indeed been provided to me. In addition, as a result of the delivery, there was a small tear in my 3'x5' doormat from the dolly which went over it. It appears to have pierced the mat and peeled back some of the rubber inside it. I plan to submit a claim on this along with any other damages I may discover as a result of the poor delivery. In short, I am obviously not pleased with how the delivery was handled and am very unhappy with the movers' lack of professionalism. In speaking with NordicTrack, they were equally displeased with how this delivery was handled. In order to have these issues properly addressed, I request that you please have an account manager reach out to me as soon as possible. I want to make sure that these same two movers do not handle any future deliveries to me and that any similar issues do not occur again. read more

I was told that I would be contacted prior to the delivery to schedule an appointment Since I work I needed to be home. Instead I received a text stating they would be arriving with my treadmill to deliver and put together in 30 minutes. No one had contacted me to schedule that day. It was fortunate that I could be home when they arrived because they came from another state 3 hours away. This is definitely not good service. Later that day when I tried my treadmill I realized the fan was extremely loud. But the people who put it together are too far away to come check it out. The only thing I had an issue with was the furniture company called me to upsell me on the mattress for the sofa bed. Here's my story... I purchased a vanity from Home Depot back in May that was delivered with mold. Since then, they put me in touch with your company to have the vanity picked up and returned so that I can be refunded. That's where my nightmare began. I received an email to confirm my return via phone or email, which I did, using both methods. I never received a call to schedule. Home Depot opened the case with NSD again - same thing. This has happened for a total of FOUR times. I have called your company's number at multiple occasions - it's impossible to get through to a real person. In the few occasions that I did, I was told dispatch in my location was closed for the day. This was one at 11am. How is that possible? Home Depot representatives have put me on hold and tried to contact your company - most times unsuccessful. When they have, they are told that they will call me back. Never do. I have confirmed my phone number multiple times and answered every single time my phone has rang from any number since May hoping it to be NSD calling. The most frustrating part is that Home Depot is being lied to and told that I have not answered their calls. When the truth is, they haven't once tried to call me. Last week, a rep from NSD said they would let a supervisor know. A few days went by and nothing happened. I called Home Depot again last Thursday and a rep there got in touch with one of your reps who said that they would escalate this and investigate. They said I would hear from someone within 24-48 hours. It's now Tuesday and I'm sure by now you are not surprised to know that I haven't heard from anyone. This is the worst delivery company I have ever interacted with. Ordered a table from Lowe's and was given a delivery date. It was "out for delivery" and they made no delivery attempt. I called them 5 times over the course of a month and could never reach a human. When I select the option to get a callback, I never get a call back. A full month after it was out for delivery, I got a text to confirm another delivery time, it then said "out for delivery" again but the same thing happened -- they never delivered it. Waited at home all day both times. Lowe's apparently has no way to get in contact with them either. It's totally unclear how this can be considered a legitimate business, and my table is clearly never coming. read more

I ordered a pool from Amazon on the 17th of June with a projected delivery date of June 30. It is now July 18, and only after daily attempts to get anyone to help me, do I have a "promise" to call this Wednesday (July 20) to set up a delivery appointment. I have called the customer service number countless times and not once has a live person answered the phone. After about 15 minutes you are told they will call you back and you are hung up on. I have sent emails to every email address I can find for both NSD and HubGroup (the parent company) to include Stacy Harrold who was mentioned in other reviews here. NSD has made 2 deliveries of dining room furniture to my house, both from the same online retailer. Both times the item was delivered at the very beginning of the anticipated window of dates that the retailer indicated. NSD communicated clearly and timely throughout the process, so even though the delivery was coming at the very beginning of the estimated delivery window, I knew well in advance what day it was coming. I live in a row house and the DR is on the first/main level, and they brought the items right into my DR. (I did not pay extra for that.) Additionally, when they delivered the chairs I needed help standing up my DR table, which had been laying on its side, and one of the delivery men gladly helped me do that. If I have one minor criticism (and it is very minor), it is that the second delivery was scheduled between 8am - 12 noon, but they were knocking on my front door at about 7:10am ready to bring the items into my house. After losing my patience today I ended up on yelp and read Kims review, emailed and messaged both ExtraMile@hubgroup.com and Patrick Lynch whom I did find on LinkedIn as the VP for Customer Care at NSD and, within 10 minutes got a message back from Patrick and 20 minutes got a call from Barbara at their customer care center who helped straighten everything out with what went wrong with my delivery. Shortly after getting off of the phone with Barbara I got a call from a gentleman at their distribution location near me, Evan, who wanted to finalize a definitive time someone can meet me so the delivery can be made and everything can be squared away. I cannot express enough how much their effort meant to me as a customer. Had I not experienced that level of customer service so quick I wouldnt have made the effort to make a yelp account just to do this review. I'm giving them 4 stars because of how much I appreciate the people who are helping me and the effort they put forth. This company has great people that are part of their team and I think that should be recognized. At the time of our purchase we were told this delivery company would be contacting us within a couple weeks. We got the call earlier than expected. We set up the delivery date and then was given a delivery time window. They said the driver would then call with a more precise time. My norditrack bike was delivered with the white glove treatment. The men who delivered my product didn't put it together properly. The front wobbles. I reached out to Norditrack about the issue and spoke with a rep but never heard back. Two days later another set of men delivered my treadmill with the white glove treatment and confirmed the bike was not put together right and gave the number to speak with someone at NSD. I shouldnt have to go through this. My bike should have been asssembled correctly. Although my treadmill was put together correctly, they damaged my painted walls upon delivery. The edges of my walls are now missing paint and there are now scuff marks we have to touch up. This whole scenario is unexpectable. This is my first time writing a Yelp review. Normally I'm too busy but I feel compelled based on my experience with NSD. I am blown away by the lack of professionalism and horrible customer service. My package is 1 day late. Upon calling them to inquire the representative was rude and dismissive and told me that someone would let me know in 24-48 hours when my package would be delivered. Basically that my package would be 3 to 4 days late and there was nothing they could do about it. The thing is, they confirmed that my package had arrived at the local distribution center in my area. UPDATE: two days after the treadmill was left in my house making a banging noise clearly indicating that something was not installed properly, it's no longer working. Not the greatest experience. Delivery was fast and on time but the installer didn't speak any English so communication was difficult. He didn't have the necessary tools to assemble the treadmill and needed to borrow a screwdriver to complete the assembly. We used google translate for that conversation. When he was done, he showed me the treadmill and kept pushing me to sign an acknowledgement form. I turned the treadmill on and it kept making an unusual banging noise. Installer still kept pushing paperwork towards me for a signature. They also left a mess of styrofoam and packing material in the room they unpackaged the treadmill. I ordered a treadmill the first week of June. It was scanned that it arrived at the NSD delivery terminal about ten days later. I waited for a week, and no one called to schedule delivery. I got ProForm customer service involved, and they had NSD initiate a dock search, which somehow took two weeks to complete. The outcome of the search was that the treadmill was damaged and undeliverable. So ProForm sent out a second machine. According to ProForm, my second treadmill arrived July 13th. But NSD did not scan it until the 20th. Once again, no one from NSD called to schedule delivery. So I contacted NSD customer service via their chat option. After waiting about 45 minutes to speak to someone, the NSD rep gave me a direct phone number to the local delivery terminal. The person I spoke to said she could schedule delivery, but that they only did threshold deliveries, not the white glove delivery and assembly that we paid extra for. She said that she would have to contact someone else to handle the assembly. But she could not tell me when that would happen. I contacted ProForm to request that they refund me for the white glove service since those who are responsible for final delivery could not guarantee it. The rep there escalated my issue to Stacy on the Extra Mile Team, and told me that I would be hearing from her that day or the next. I still have not heard from Stacy, so I found the email address for the Extra Mile Team here on Yelp and sent an email detailing my issue once again. I still have not heard from her, anyone locally, or anyone at all from NSD. And I still do not have my treadmill. This has got to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had with two companies simultaneously. This is a high-dollar purchase and a big deal for us. It should be treated as such. My advice, if you are ordering anything oversized to be delivered to your home, research who will handle the delivery. And if it is NSD, run away as far and as fast as you can. He asked that I forward my information to extramile@hubgroup.com, which if he had actually read my review, he would have seen that I have already done that. The most horrible customer service and delivery service I have ever had to deal with...and I'm still missing my 70 lb vanity top. They never called like they said they would 30 min prior to delivery. Someone was home all day and there is no ring doorbell footage of any delivery. Yet their tracking and manager, Robert Hollis, said it was delivered. They can't provide any proof it was delivered. Hmm a little sketchy that you can't prove it considered all major delivery services now take pictures for these type of situations. Their customer service is a complete joke and utterly useless. Here are some of my favorite responses I received (verbatim): Kelsey: "so per Danny at the warehouse had advised the manager is aware and is going to call you today and come by your house after speaking with you of course" (never received that phone call) Ali: "you can reach a supervisor at this email extramile@shipnsd.com" Me: (I questioned this since it was a generic email and not manager specific) Ali:"ok hold let me if I can get you a supervisors emails. Like a better one" "Ok I just talked to my supervisor he said that is the email" I really wish I was exaggerating but this is the absolute worse experience I have ever had with a company. I would have been better off driving hours away to a Home Depot that had it in stock than waste hours and hours with their incompetent customer service to try to track it down. Call OSHA! I felt so bad for the worker. They sent ONE man to deliver a 700 pound package. I ordered a shed through Amazon. Per Amazon, NSD is supposed to take the package all the way to the spot where the shed would be built. There was no way this man was going to be able to do that alone and I wasn't able to help. We paid $85 for "Threshold Delivery" inside the first entryway. What we found was they left it outside on our concrete porch in freezing weather face down/flat, hanging off the porch about 2 feet over the stairs. We found that it was delivered when we walked out to get the mail. It weighs aprox 300lbs. No call, no knock, no doorbell. We paid for the inside delivery because my husband just had knee replacement and could not help move it. One end of the box was torn open. I called NSD and all they told me was to contact Home Depot for a refund on the shipping charges. Trying to contact NSD was a chore in itself, after 16 min their phone system hung up on me. 35 min wait in a chat window finally got me a person who told me to call Home Depot for a refund. They didn't want the photos I took of the box hanging off my porch or the damaged end. Again call Home Depot if there is damage for a replacement or refund. Wow, talk about pushing all responsibility off on someone else!! I hope we never order from Home Depot and have to use them again. read more

In line with multiple reviews here: (1) JC Penney promised the delivery in three business days (October 10) after the purchase (October 5). Not happened. I called JCP customer service on October 14 after I saw that my credit card was charged the full amount of purchase, and they said the item had been picked up by the delivery company on the 9th. To cut the long story short, after numerous telephone calls and emails with JCP (and an inability to cancel the purchase since it was supposedly "shipped"), they claimed that the item could not be located. I told them on October 22 that I was calling my bank to report the charge on my card as fraud and that I did not want to wait any longer as I did not want the item anymore. I requested a California King mattress and received a standard King mattress upon each request. The width of a standard King versus a California King is about half a foot shorter. Finally, when they do arrive they refuse to place the item inside the doorway (as expected per Amazon purchase) and the item arrives damaged (sometimes beyond repair).
