I was told I'd get a call the night before to confirm. I did not. I was told delivery would be between 1 and 5 PM. It was not. I called Direct Buy at 6:30 the night of the delivery to see if they could figure out what happened, and they said no one was answering the phone at NSD and they'd let me know by the next morning. At 7:30 I received a call from the driver telling me they were 15 minutes away. Was it still ok to deliver? Of course, but why no heads-up call to let me know you're delayed? After more than 30 minutes on hold, I started looking into the company and obviously came across the thousands of 1 star reviews for poor customer experience / poor customer service. Set up a return through Home Depot- first time the driver called and I was breifly away from my phone but missed his call. Called him back (3 min later) he doesn't answer call again.. and again.. and again- he blocks me. Call from my work phone.. and again.. and again.. he blocks my number. They broke my items twice and had multiple delays, were impossible to get ahold of (until three weeks in when I found all of these Yelp reviews and emailed the people named), could not answer direct questions, and are currently trying to deliver an item that home depot refunded over a week ago despite my contacting them to notify them that the order was cancelled. I ordered a professional size generator that's very heavy and it was delivered with care we live on a larger property in the very back it was dropped off in our drive way which was totally fine because of the weight the box and packaging was not damaged or dented in anyway. If I could give this company a half star, I would. We purchased a riding lawnmower from Home Depot. The order changed delivery dates frequently. We contacted them to see where our order was after weeks. The tracking had shown that it had gone through a few stops and then there was an exception even though it was in my city. So when we contacted them, they stated that they never got the package. How can you have never received it, when there was progress all throughout the time that it was picked up from Home Depot. They claimed it was due to shortages and that Home Depot was sold out of the product, which made no sense. So I pressed about why it had tracking activity if it was never picked up and Aylin B., who was completely rude, never could explain. They just kept repeating the same phrase over and over again. I am hesitant about ordering anything that is delivered through this company because they are so untrustworthy and not reliable at all. Luckily, I paid for the order via Paypal. I have been trying to contact NSD for delivery of goods that have been at their terminal here in Fort Wayne since 24 August with an estimated delivery between 29 August to 31 August. We requested the delivery personnel to remove shoes before entering home - They didn't. They didn't assemble all the parts that were delivered. Left midway. Left dirty shoe marks all over the new flooring and carpet. Ended up scheduling a cleaning service after they left. Don't recommend them. read more

UPDATE: Marshall responded to my Yelp post and I am working with him to resolve this satisfactory. I hope to update this again soon 11/11/2020 Driver tore up our yard in their enterprise rental van. Never mentioned it when we met them actually dropping our 400 lb box at the top of the road near our mailbox (yes, they chewed up the yard and still didn't leave it there,AND said nothing!) NSD responded rudely and threatened to involve their lawyers. We will file a complaint with the BBB and with Home Depot who subcontracted with them to deliver. A delivery was made to our residence on the 19th of May wich may I add took over a month to get. Only to find out when I opened packaging on Sunday the 21st to put item together. The item in question is a dining table, when the table top was removed from box, found several pieces of hardware had fallen off also to include a piece that fell off after lifting table. I ordered a shower base from Tile Redi and it shipped 1/13. It took 10 days to get to So Cal from Indiana. I suppose that isn't too bad but the fact that the shower base was broken (see pics), the box had a huge whole in it and for some reason all the metal staples were removed as though someone opened the box in transit. The box was taped shut. I inspected the box on arrival with the delivery people present. They agreed it was broken but told me they weren't responsible and that I had to contact the manufacturer. Now the project is delayed 14-20 days. My customer is mad because they won't have a bathroom for another 3 weeks or more. read more

Worst experience I've ever had with a carrier. Teo deliveries in a row -- first they failed to pick up a returned item 2X because they failed to bring the proper equipment -- both times. For the second experience, they delivered a damaged item and left it 20 yards from my door. It's too large to carry. Customer support said, Oh the $600 you paid for the item wasn't enough. It's an extra charge for us to put it at your door. Seriously. And customer support was SO rude. The only problem and why I gave a three star is that they only loaded the left side of my couch. The right side was not delivered. I have went a week and they found it still on the loading dock. When they called to verify the delivery they said left and right side sectional. I understand things can be overlooked and busy. I just was kind of put out as I had to go through filing a claim with the company I bought it from and no answer of its where abouts for several days.left a message with the delivery company and a few days after that they called and said the driver did not load it and it was still on the dock. They did made a mistake first time they accidentally gave us the wrong couch then they called me within a few minutes to let me know they were coming back and make the exchange . Please know that I RARELY give 1-star reviews to anyone as I feel they are almost always a result of personal issues with someone at a company as versus objective assessments of services/goods. That said, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if at all possible. Our company purchased some truck tool boxes through Home Depot (HD), which were delivered in very poor condition as a result of the initial shipping company (I can't remember who delivered them). We immediately called HD to advise that 4 of the 6 toolboxes we received were damaged to the point of unusable and needed to be returned. HD promptly setup a return pickup with NSD, who sent us an email on 5/10/22 advising they were attempting to schedule a pickup of the return items at our business. But then we were never able to get them to respond to the request to setup a pickup. THEN, when we were finally able to get someone from this company on the phone to schedule the pickup, these clowns advised they had CANCELLED the return at the request of HD. So I promptly called HD to find out why they would do that. Mind you, HD is holding our $3k for this order until they receive this return on their end. HD stated they did not cancel this return with NSD and they were unclear what happened, but they re-issued the return request...again with NSD. We received return effort #2 email advising NSD was trying to schedule a pickup of the return, which we promptly responded to in email. When we did not receive a response from NSD, we made numerous attempts to call NSD on the phone, where we literally always landed in an automated system that is similar to the circle of death you all experience on the internet - when the system can't reach any form of intelligent life. We attempted to reach them through their website chat as well, and got a similar response. The system asks you to hold until a customer service rep can hop online, but that rep doesn't appear to exist and chats don't ever actually happen. Emails get an auto-response saying they received it and will be responding to you shortly. It's pretty clear NSD has no concept of what 'shortly' means because we've been waiting for 35-days to get a response to the first email we sent them. I had to call HD customer service again, this time explaining that they have my $3k they won't refund me until NSD comes to pickup these toolboxes. The lovely HD rep, LaShaun, called the bat line to NSD to get them answer a phone. Then HD had to complete a whole new return because NSD couldn't facilitate the return as there was a 'discrepancy' in HD's request for return. I find that ironic considering NSD was an epic failure on every level of this whole process. Moral of the story - DO NOT USE NSD (HUB GROUP) shipping if at all possible. The odds of pissing off your customer or yourself are exponential. read more

Now that things are settled down. Instead of waiting a week for someone to call us, we went and picked the TV up. First and for most, the box was damaged so we had a clear idea that the tv was probably busted, but in good faith we still picked it up & transported the TV safely to our house. We got home unboxed the tv & there was a big crack in the middle of the tv where it looks like someone drove a fork lift into the tv (we are assuming that's why our tv was being held so long). Lastly, their storage was not equipped to store tvs apparently bc the tv ALSO had moisture inside the screen. So on top of my tv being in my area to be delivered, to going back somewhere almost 2 hours away, us going to pick it up, it was ruined due to poor storage/handling. So now On top of having to go pick it up, now we have to find somewhere to get rid of a 70in TV without getting fined. Thank You so much for the lack of customer service. read more

Sketchy- Ordered 2 cabinets, one was delivered (damaged of course). Delivery person told my husband that the other one was on a different truck- which never arrived. Home Depot said the weight of the delivery matched the weight of the order so we have to dispute via our credit card (a polite way of calling us liars). Luckily, We have security cameras so we can prove we are not liars. The NSD phone system puts you on hold for 15 minutes then disconnects you. Research who ships your item BEFORE buying it! If you want to buy a large item online, make sure that the seller is NOT using NSD. It's that simple. As everyone has said: -Your item will be days/ weeks/ months late (if it ever arrives at all) -You'll have no idea where your item is. -There's NO phone customer service since ten thousand other people are trying to call at the same time. -There's NO email customer support or chat support either for I guess the same reason? -They were bought by something called the "HUB GROUP" which might explain why they suck so much? Who knows... -The seller won't have any way to help you out because see above. So rather than just another ranting review, my advice is this: research who will ship your item BEFORE BUYING IT and if it's NSD/ Hub group, buy elsewhere or ship it to a store and pick it up from there. Literally the worst experience I've ever had. Ordered a treadmill from Nordic (as many other people in the reviews). Zero contact from Nordic and NSD. NSD lost my treadmill in their warehouse for a month, then can't seem to figure out how to deliver it. Took off 4 DAYS of work in order to be home to receive a delivery that was never going to show up. I even offered to go pick up the treadmill myself however that's not allowed. This business is a joke and these people should be ashamed of themselves. We have spent hours trying to get answers about a counter top that we were waiting for that was supposedly dropped off. Nothing but a run around. Asked for proof of delivery and they would not provide anything besides to say that it was dropped off. We waited at home all day since this piece is holding up our entire project. Keep in mind I have Ring doorbell as well.
