These guys were great when selling the system and the also did a nice job of installation. However,…read moresince my install and several requests, I have not received any contact from them at all. I have no idea how the system works, how to turn it on and off, or what the digital display on the inverter means. In fact, I have seen much better installations that look better than theirs. But now, I can only monitor what the system produces. I can't see what I'm drawing from the grid, or how much power I am using. So I ended up buying a Sense monitor to give me that info. Except, Sense advises that I hire an electrician to install it. But the Sense instructions seem so easy that I think I will do it myself. I kind of wish Trinity Solar would do this for me. But, there is no support from them at all. In fact, I, and the people that recommended them to me, are both still waiting for our $500 rebates that we were promised. 9 weeks after the installation?? I'm not sure that I will ever hear from them again? Update Jan 31, 2020 I still stand with the same opinion that there hasn't been any follow up from Trinity. However, I have installed my own Sense monitor that shows me the details of how much Solar is producing compared to how much I am using from the grid. I can say I am saving at least half of what I was paying with ACE alone. That will diminish as the system ages so I'm not sure what the 25 year average will bring. I do know that I have had one roof leak due to the installation but I expect that was due to one ice storm we had where ice accumulated under one of the solar mounts but I am afraid to call Trinity back to repair because it will probably end up in a hassle. It's not leaking now in rain but I still have to repair the damage. Oh well, all in all, I'm happy but at the same time disappointed. But I'll give them another star for saving me money for the time being! But please be advised- do not buy into a set monthly rate. The cost will increase as time goes on. Buy a plan where you only pay a set rate for what the system produces. Or best, if you can afford to invest in it, buy the system yourself so you can capitalize on the SRECs for every 1000kWhs you produce because it will pay for your system over time and may eventually become profitable!

All Square D installed by union electrical company. I had contracted Davey Tree company to have a 50 tree oak tree removed and any branches interfering with the sunlight exposure a day before their visit for final details. I get an email from the designer in Florida for my commercial property in Delaware stating they were not licensed in Delaware. A BS answer. They advertise on their website Delaware. They checked the codes here for the design. They may have been in business for 21 years but like a local surgeon stated " you're only as good as your last case. That rank a zero.

Turns out a squirrel made a home under one of my panels and ate through some wire and a converter. The techs found the area where the damage was done and fixed it with a new part. By the way, they handled my service call within 2 days and also had to deal with snow in spots on the roof. They took the damaged component to remove it from the monitoring system and added the replacement. Exact did my install over two years ago and can't tell you how happy I am that I chose them for my solar system. FIRST CLASS!!!!

Such a big project is daunting to average home owners like my wife and me. We started out knowing nothing about everything! After meeting with several companies that do these types of projects, we chose Whitman. One reason was that our research of various companies showed me that Whitman was one of the best; a long time in business with a sterling reputation. And local. A NJ company rooted here, paying taxes here, hiring high quality professionals... right here. Well, that matters to us. What closed the deal -- rather, quite literally WHO -- is Dave Kawczynski. There was no pressure. (What a relief after being talked at by others.) And he was so educational. We learned everything necessary to make an informed decision. No hype or empty promises. Along with Matthew Cruz, they gave me a solid deal. Andrew Ludewig stayed on top of the many steps in our solar-electric project. The rest of the team are highly competent and treated us really well too. Julie Criscuolo, Lindsay Fischer, and Melissa Whitman took care of a lot of stuff along the way. I don't know their full names, but good job by Tom who oversaw roof project. He gave me a lot of tips and advice. Electricians Travis and Will not only did a great job, but also put a very positive face on Whitman.

They did send someone to come check it out on the 22nd and I was told someone would get back to me to do actual repairs.. When I call back today, 12/29 I was told the girl that schedules repairs is on vacation. How is a company that is so well knowned and so responsible have me with a leak for more than 10 days and was told they can MAYBE send someone out in the beginning of January?

It's been almost a year of our generation, and so far we are incredibly pleased with the experience! We have a flat roof, which some of the providers we got quotes for didn't have experience with, but it was no problem for Sea Bright. They estimated that we would generate about 90% of our electricity needs and after the first 10 months we are generating 86% so pretty darn close! One awesome thing about working with them is that you sign paperwork in the beginning to give them the authority to work directly with the electricity company and your city permit office so you as the homeowner really don't have to do any of the paperwork once you get the agreement signed with them. There were a few times I wish we had better communication- I was going to be traveling for work around the installation day and it was a little hard to coordinate. But mostly it's because they are doing all the paperwork and permits without you being involved so as the owner you sometimes feel unsure what's happening when the project is going fine. A quick email to our project manager was always enough to get the info we needed to plan, and it wasn't a big issue. You can shop around for loans with other providers or work with their financial arm - we went with their financial people because it was easiest but the terms seemed similar with most lenders. Overall we are really pleased with our choice. My kids love checking the app to see our generation and use, and we love doing something better for the environment!

I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share our experience with Sea Bright…read moreSolar. We signed a contract on April 28, 2026, for specific premium solar panels. Nearly five months later, Gina Samples, Sea Bright Solar's General Manager, emailed us: "We were hoping to have your preferred panels and microinverters from our primary supplier by now, but we don't." She then offered different SunPower 410 panels that did not include the Solar Insure coverage in our contracted system. We declined the substitute equipment and requested cancellation and a refund. What happened afterward was even more concerning. During a phone call with Michael Greenberg (salesperson), he acknowledged that my complaint to the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs was factual and told me it had made Brian Kelly (company owner) angry. We were then presented with a "Release of all claims" document to sign, tying the return of our money to withdrawing our complaint and removing negative online reviews. From our perspective, it felt like they were holding our money hostage and using it as leverage to pressure us into staying silent. The company also claimed we wanted to cancel because we were moving back to Washington. That is simply false. We own our New Jersey home, live in both states, and still intend to install solar there--just with another company. I wish I had known all of this before signing. Based on our experience, I would not choose Sea Bright Solar again.
