We started looking into solar in February of 2022, got four quotes, went with Sea Bright and were beginning to generate by July. It's been almost a year of our generation, and so far we are incredibly pleased with the experience! We have a flat roof, which some of the providers we got quotes for didn't have experience with, but it was no problem for Sea Bright. They estimated that we would generate about 90% of our electricity needs and after the first 10 months we are generating 86% so pretty darn close! One awesome thing about working with them is that you sign paperwork in the beginning to give them the authority to work directly with the electricity company and your city permit office so you as the homeowner really don't have to do any of the paperwork once you get the agreement signed with them. There were a few times I wish we had better communication- I was going to be traveling for work around the installation day and it was a little hard to coordinate. But mostly it's because they are doing all the paperwork and permits without you being involved so as the owner you sometimes feel unsure what's happening when the project is going fine. A quick email to our project manager was always enough to get the info we needed to plan, and it wasn't a big issue. You can shop around for loans with other providers or work with their financial arm - we went with their financial people because it was easiest but the terms seemed similar with most lenders. Overall we are really pleased with our choice. My kids love checking the app to see our generation and use, and we love doing something better for the environment! read more

Overall happy with system. Administrative process was made easy by SunPower. Install took about 4 months with wait on permits being biggest part. Actual installation was relatively quick. Panel installation was quick and efficient. Wiring by electrician took longer and was more aggravating (late, messy, caused some extra repair work for myself that I felt they should have been taken care of), complained a bit but seems to have mostly fell on deaf ears, otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Ultimately installation was completed and system is working good, already noticing producing much more electricity even on cloudy days than I use. Initial customer service was excellent and the assistance provided to get me through process. installation was mostly good but I obviously had some issues. Would do again. read more

I really wanted to use this company because of the SunPower name. Unfortunately, customer service is just awful making it impossible to use them. Had to chase the manager to change an appointment and then had to chase them further just to get an estimate. Still don't have an estimate. Guess they are too busy. Hard pass. read more

Recently, I considered having my home reroofed and contacted them regarding their removal and reinstallation. I was initially surprised to find out the cost to have this done. I was introduced to this company by a co-worker when I told him I was in the market for solar panels. Everything started out great while they vetted my business. My rep was great. It went south once Danielle left the company in August. Communication suffered, they were unre-responsive at time...had to go back and forth with them over the signing bonus that I was promised etc. Signing bonus took nearly 7 weeks to be "mailed out" and I still haven't received it. Once they have your signed agreement you get treated differently. I wish Danielle stayed and the customer service dint walk out the door when she left. Install day was fine, and everything else went ok. Just dealing with folks and having them answer Emails is a chore. I'll be happy when I get the bonus and dont have to deal with them anymore. Just send me my bill and leave me alone. I thought about referring them to my neighbor, but changed my mind. Wasn't happy with the customer service. read more
