It was a Tuesday and I needed my final walkthrough to get done on Thursday night since I was leaving Friday. I contacted a bunch of companies who were already booked out 2 wks. Meliza and another lovely woman (I'm sorry, I forgot your name,) was a blessing! Very sincere and carved out time to help me out. They came very prepared and let me tell you, these ladies worked their butts off!!! Their teamwork was impeccable! Communication was great! They kept me posted throughout the process, asked questions and answered all of mines! The apartment looked better than when I first moved in by the time they were done. Since I live in the mainland, I relied on Yelp to find a cleaning crew that I could trust. After communicating with a number of them, I decided on MP Services since not only that they had competitive rates and great customer reviews, Meliza the owner had been very responsive throughout. The house is now squeaky clean, and the old windows and jalousies are clean like new (!), as you can tell from the photos. They even cleaned the exterior carport area without charging me for it. Even more, my wife just went back to Hawaii with my MIL, and she was shocked and pleasantly surprised that those jalousies could be cleaned so nicely despite the cakes of dirt that she saw growing up in that house. :-). I highly recommend MP Services and we are hiring them for the regular cleaning now.

Moving. Does anyone really enjoy a move? Especially a big move; one that entails many logistics and…read moreextensive planning and packing and, what? You want me to clean, too? Oooh, noo. After receiving an employment opportunity on the mainland, I knew I'd need to hop on Yelp to inquire about cleaning services available for move out on the island of Oahu. I wanted to ensure I could hire a reputable cleaning service that would make my move a bit easier. After searching for "move out cleaning", Yelp had an assessment form for me to fill out in a bit more detail. Being able to put how many bedrooms, bathrooms, and the actual square footage of the space in question was helpful so that an accurate quote could be given by potential businesses. Asking questions such as if there's carpet to be cleaned, or indicating the type of flooring, was handy to the over all price quote. I got several automated responses from Big Box accounts pretty quickly. Standing out, KR Services, a locally owned and operated business reached out to my inquiry and gave a straight forward quote based on the size of the space, bed and bathroom count. Carpet had an additional cost, which was very, very suitable given how much carpet there was. After several exchanges of messages, I spoke to KR, who confirmed availability for the date I needed. Conveniently, I didn't even need to be on island when the cleaning service actually happened. KR service accepts multiple forms of payment and I had a dear friend drop by to facilitate the rest of the transaction. Report back from the aforementioned friend was nothing short of an accolade, confirming the job had been done & done well. KR Services relieved so much pressure and stress of a big move. I am so grateful that if I had to do it again, I would definitely use KR Services, without question.

I messaged twice and never received a response. They may very well do good work based on their other reviews, but from a potential customer standpoint, the communication was disappointing. If a business asks customers to reach out a certain way, I think it is reasonable to expect some kind of reply, even if they are booked or unavailable. Based only on the lack of response during the inquiry process, this was not a great first impression.
