Every time I went there they…read morewere always aggressive cleaners but the dad Dr. Chang was my favorite, in fact he was the reason my dad kept me going there. In 2024, his daughter had taken over the practice and she did my wisdom teeth removal. She had started on me and when I told her I felt pain she kept going and said she wasn't going to numb me anymore. I was awake the whole procedure and felt pain. Then after the procedure I was in SO much pain and I could tell something was wrong. I went back to her and she had said "maybe" there was an infection but she wouldn't admit she messed it up. She just sent me back home so I had to go to the ER and get a shot for how much pain I was in and that's when I finally got relief. When I went back to her the LAST time she got extremely mad I went to the ER and she had stated she knew I had an infection and acted like she did all the right things WHICH SHE DIDNT. The hospital was the one that helped me with pain and gave me the meds to help my infection, not her. Do not go here! At least not if she's the doctor. Two years later and my holes never closed up from the wisdom teeth removal.

Unfortunately we weren't sure if a filling would suffice or if I would need my first crown and we wouldn't know until she started drilling. Thankfully the filling was enough! For my appointment, I had a great dental hygienist, and I really liked her. She was sweet, and super personable. Dr. Welch was also really nice and friendly, so when I was told I had some cavities, I didn't think it was a big deal since I had already had such a good experience. Unfortunately, getting my fillings done was a slightly different ordeal. I have never experienced so much pain while I've had fillings done. My jaw was locking up while I had to keep it wide open, and apparently she had no way of propping it open, as previous dentists of mine have done. It also took extremely long, and my eyes were tearing up during the whole process. Since Dr. Welch knew I was in pain, she gave me some ibuprofen and sent my on my way. Luckily, the receptionist never had me schedule my next appointment, because there was no way I was going back. My husband also experienced pain while his filling was being done too. He has also had ongoing pain in that tooth ever since, which is now being fixed by another dentist. Like I said, the initial experience was great because everyone was so nice, but the actual dental work aspect was terrible, and it has made me afraid to go back to the dentist again.

Everyone, Dr Huppert included, is personable, kind, professional and caring. But a couple of weeks ago, Dr Huppert and office manager-dental assistant Leslie went above and beyond the great service I've always received. I'm immensely grateful for their help. After a bad fall, I need immediate treatment to reposition a couple of front teeth. I called as soon as I could from the ER to let them know of my emergency, and rushed over after a long day at the hospital. They stayed late that day for consultation and X-rays after hours - this was the same day I had fallen - and found time for repairs needed early the next day. As always, they took pains to reassure me and fully inform me of the treatment plan. Their attitude of care and concern for my comfort eased my anxiety, and They've always inspired my confidence in their abilities.
