Hate how to studio is really tiny compared to most other places, and then the stupid beam in te middle! But the classes themselves are so good, I hate to take off a star for the studio! Completely run by the sisters, it's a great place to sweat off those calories! The studio, tho tiny, is very well maintained, the bathrooms too. The music is absolutely awesome, even tho I'm not a fan of Spanish/ Latino music! The moves are great - not too simple, but not overly complicated either! Love how the moves are so girly too! :):) The fact that they give you a key chain card is again awesome! Will Continue coming here :):) way to go girls!

I was drawn here after taking a class from Mourien sponsored by the apartment complex I am living in. Mourien is super energetic and her enthusiasm is contagious. Her steps are unique compared to other classes I have been to. They are fun and easy to follow. Her studio is conveniently across the street from the apartment and right next to the very tempting brusters icecream parlor. It is a large dance space with a child care room and changing rooms. The space was essentially packed with devoted Zumba enthusiasts for the Saturday morning class with Mourien. Again, her dance moves were fun and I barely noticed that I was drenched until after the class. Classes can be purchased per class, packages (6, 12, 18), or unlimited monthly. Try the drop in class for $7 with Mourien and I bet you will be hooked.

The owner's lack of empathy and patience when dealing with children was shocking considering children are her primary customers. Her lack of professionalism, combined with an alarming level of cultural insensitivity, compounded our dissatisfaction. Our experience highlighted a lack of interest for those outside the studios perceived inner circle. These issues, coupled with the owner's attitude, led to our extreme dissatisfaction and ultimate decision to seek a more inclusive and supportive dance environment.

I loved the versatility of the group there; clearly, every culture and age was represented, which made it even more fun. This is what the doctor ordered for me since I had been in my head all day about some things. Nina was one of the most encouraging, energetic, and supportive persons for this class. She made you want to push yourself to learn the choreography steps. She also let everyone know not to take themselves seriously and enjoy the dance, which I did by the end of the class. Now, let me say that I always thought I had some moves. But Bollywood challenged me a bit--okay, a lot. I took a video, but it's for my viewing pleasure; sorry. I sent it to my girlfriends so we can book a class with Nina. Whatever you do, please do yourself a favor and book a class or try a free class to see how much fun it is and how much exercise you can get. You will not be sorry. I did email with Ms. Vidovich regarding this incident when it happened in February and she responded to my email, so she is aware of what happened as well as aware of my identity. She did offer me a refund for the remaining amount since I did not feel comfortable having my child continue in a class where threats of humiliation towards 5-7 year old children were allowed. I repeat my concern to other parents that based on the actions of the teacher in the class and the lack of concern by the studio owner, I would NOT recommend this studio.
