Chairs section face the stage and are set up as first come, first sit. Side Chairs are similar, but you are located on the sides at an angle, and it is also general admission as well. The Lawn area is just that - the area of the lawn to the sides - bring your blanket or low chairs and enjoy the show. As you arrive for the show, you will need to park in the designated areas mentioned by Olney Theatre Center - before each show you will receive an email with this information. Have your tickets ready as you will need to show it to some employees positioned under a tent near the Olney Outdoors area (this is behind the theaters). Want to snack on something: They do have beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and a few snacks available for purchase - Menu is available at their stand. I attended a performance with a band called Orquesta Manplesa (listed as DC's newest and hottest salsa band) and I loved that a dance floor was provided for people to dance on. For that type of music, it is hard to dance on grass. Salsa lessons were provided by Salsa with Silvia during the performance and many took advantage. It was my first time attending. I had so much fun that I went back for another show soon after - Marshall Charloff & The Purple xPeRIeNCE which is listed as the most celebrated tribute to Prince. Some of these plays are unforgettable, especially the serious ones. I was a little disappointed that this year's series is going to lean more toward comedy, according to an article in the Gazette. However, the comedies I saw yesterday were certainly entertaining, and one of the dramas was outstanding. The theater is small, but the seats are very comfortable, and the prices reasonable. Ample parking is available. They now have online ticketing, which is very convenient. However, I'd suggest avoiding having your tickets available at will call: I still had to wait in line with those who hadn't yet paid for tickets or had problems with their seats. In the future, I'll print out my ticket and avoid the long line.

Mark Phillips and Ryan Phillips were both terrific. The one we voted for did indeed win, but they were both great! The Saturday we were there, there were two performances. We chose the 5pm one. It's a fast-paced show that kept us laughing, intrigued and highly entertained. A very fun, wonderful way to spend entertainment dollars in DC. Not a bad seat in the house! This is downstairs in the historic Mayflower Hotel, nice and close to the Farragut North Metro Stop. Definitely appropriate for all ages. Highly recommend!

I am no stage expert, but lights and sound do matter a lot in delivery of a magic show for a skeptic like me, going because the significant other loves magic shows. With better lighting, things would have been more "magical" (thinking bottles.) I was also surprised that a bubble artist, as good as she was in her profession, was considered a magician. Here's why. 1) Space: The music center itself is massive with a hall that holds almost 2,000 people. The space also comes with a few bars and dining areas with a buffet and grab-n-go food. There are an art gallery and classrooms too. The restrooms are clean and spacious. 2) Location: It's very far from the city, but a free parking garage is nearby that connects to the music hall. Additionally, the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Station is right there too.

DC hand dancing is a little known secret and there are a ton of folks around town who go out and have a blast. I started last April and recently graduated. The classes were paced well, and the instructor Kevin Murray was fun, entertaining and educational. I continue to go to classes even though I've graduated to help out those just learning, and continue to exercise.
