Gas station food for Tony hawk price. Listen to the other reviews and PLEASE go to the "taco stand" a door down. You've been warned.

    Rounded up $30 mimosa.

Popped by here for a lunch on the way out of town. TBH the food looked pretty plain. I had a turkey club and the others in my party had Mexican plates that looked more like cafeteria food than actual cuisine. They charge airport prices. A large mimosa was nearly $30.

Really confused and wary with seeing any reviews above 3 stars for this place, to be honest. Let's get a few things out of the way: is it expensive? Yes, it's airport food. So 20 bucks for every dish seems on par with normal airport food. We got a quesadilla (9 dollars) and the 900 degree fries (9 dollars). Please note that adding meat is an additional 8 dollars for both. If you're going to the airport and want quantity then this isn't a bad choice as both plates were large. With that said they were both okay. I wouldn't necessarily call this food authentically Latin though which confused me as I know the chef is supposed to be a pillar of that. It felt very Americanized. Service was fast. We came here when it was raining but they have an outdoor area which is nice as San Diego weather normally permits that!

It's very odd every table has a $7.50 bottle of water sitting on it.

My husband ordered the quesadilla with chicken, $19, came with salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. I ordered carnitas tacos, $23. Honestly this was the saddest taco plate I've ever seen. Being in San Diego I expected better. The tacos were barely filled with carnitas and no rice/beans on the side just a small slasaThey tasted just ok, nothing great. The quesadilla was better tasting and a better value. Would I come back here? Yes for beer, no for food. I must say, our server Laurie was great, very friendly and outgoing.

    Nice presentation.

Warning: do not expect fish in the ceviche. I counted 5-6 small chunks of shrimp, which may have totaled a single large shrimp. The flavors was great, but expect an onion and cucumber salsa with a couple pieces of shrimp. Horrible value for $24. Ordered the Quesadilla as well, and it was good, as well as the Guacamole that comes with it.

Had a long layover at San Diego airport and the lounge was inaccessible so we came across Novecientos Grados by Tony Hawk close to our gate and decided to give it a try. We were seated immediately in the bustling restaurant which has indoor and patio dining. Our waiter who was very busy greeted us immediately and we were served with water and menus. The menu is all Mexican dining with a large variety of options. What I liked about the menu is they explained all the dishes and the sauces available with the varying degrees of heat. I appreciate that because you don't always get that in a Mexican food restaurant. The guacamole looked especially delicious so we ordered that as an appetizer and as main course decided to try the carnitas tacos, three tacos served with chips and salsas. You get a choice of three sauces and we chose the mild to be on the safe side. We also ordered a margarita and a Dos XX's. Our drinks were quickly served and the guacamole followed. It was very, very good and the mild tomatilla salsa was a perfect compliment. I will mention that we were offered extra chips as we dined but we declined as we were served plenty. When the tacos came we were surprised because they were huge and packed full of tender succulent carnitas meat. It was topped with another generous portion of guacamole and your choice of salsa. As I mentioned we took the mild Chipotle salsa which was great with the chips as well. The three tacos were more than enough to fill us up so we declined ordering any more food but we did enjoy another drink. The servers were attentive, the managers came by a couple of times, even refilling our drink order for us while the server was busy elsewhere. Everyone was friendly, welcoming us and saying goodbye. The food is excellent and plentiful and very delicious. Give it a try. Expect it to be a little pricey as it's in a airport but believe me I have no complaints with this establishment, only praise.

Waitstaff chatting and not actually helping any customers. There were 7 of them in there

Food was decent. Service was not. Waited almost 10 mins for a waiter - while they stood in a group chatting 10 ft from me - see the photo. Terminal one is new and this restaurant is new, but they need to do much better as the restaurant is half empty and there's no excuse for the poor service

German was absolutely incredible and the burger and fries were incredible! My daughter was so thrilled and it was the absolute beat start to our vacation. I highly recommend coming here before your trip, great vibes, music and of course skate scene.

I knew it was a speakeasy but he did not. I was trying to double-check on my phone that Craft & Commerce was the right restaurant its housed in (yes) when he tried to jet set off down the block "to keep looking" rather than listen to me. I yelled, "MOTHER!" by accident and then he did truly leave me hahaha. He resurfaced a few minutes later, and then we walked in. It was 5:15 at the time, so 15 minutes after opening. I had NO IDEA how popular this spot was, nor anything about its nation-wide reputation. I actually didn't know that until two days ago when a Yelp-friend at home here in Richmond, Virginia, exclaimed excitedly when I told her we stopped in. The host who greeted us was kind, informed us there had been a line to get in that day, but that they had one barrel left; we jumped on it of course. It was happy hour, so the first cocktail I ordered was dirt cheap at $9. It was the Imperial Hawaiian with gin, rum, lemon, pineapple, and orgeat. I really shouldn't have ordered a second drink after that one, but I did have the classic Saturn later on in the night and it was absurdly good! Definitely my favorite of the two. The moody tiki vibe was so cool and fun. They even had frogs you could play on the tables. We had some fun neighbors too, which livened up the experience even more. We had a great time and both walked out heavily buzzed. We were asleep by 8 that night, but it was worth it!

Once inside seating is first come first served so the place is insanely crowded with people trying to get drinks. Service is a little confusing as the waiters will come up to you with a menu asking for your order instead of an order at the bar type of thing. Once we actually got a seat things were okay. The menu is mostly rum drinks since this is a rum bar however since I'm not the biggest fan I ordered the only thing with tequila on the menu. My drink was actually really good, it was refreshing, not too sweet or strong at all. I just wish there would be more variety.
