At each visit, patients have to complete a form to document what occurred after the previous appointment. Then, patients are seen by the physician or nurse. Periodically, they administer EKG's and and request that you obtain thyroid tests, as well. I wish I had known about Belite years ago because along with a healthy diet and consistent exercise, the program works extremely well. By exercising regularly, eating healthy, and drinking water, I went from a size 20 to a very healthy size 8-10 in 6 months. From the guidance I receive regarding nutrition, I have learned to eat healthy for the 1st time in my life! This program works well for me. Over several years, I have been on Prednisone and received cortisone injections for my back. It is extremely hard to lose weight from Prednisone and Cortisone Injections. I am back with Belite again after gaining a ton of weight from prednisone and cortisone injections, and after ending treatment for my back. With Belite, I have already received positive results so far and I anticipate more weight loss in the future. If this program works for me, it will work for you!!

She is there to collect a paycheck and nothing else. I have been blessed to have a wonderful healthcare team outside of Belite....and would not choose her to treat me for a broken fingernail. She is condescending ....and speaks as if she didn't hear or understood what I said. She doesn't care to talk about options and rushes you out while you are mid sentence. This was enough for me to question going back ever again. A waste of $160 dollars.... Edit: In their site, it says 135.00 for a follow up visit. I was charged 160.00 for less than 15 mins visit on Saturday 9/7 with a nurse practitioner who only took my blood pressure and flipped through notes. Nothing of value. The other two Nurse practitioner I have seen are very attentive and LISTEN. They have shown they care and in vested in my weight loss journey and talk about options. I wish I pick which Nurse Practitioner I could book an appointment with....Belite does not offer that.

I already ate very healthy, whole foods consistently before starting on medication but she really helped me lock in the caloric goals I needed to lose weight in a healthy way. I stayed on the medication for about 4 months until my BMI was normal and I didn't qualify for the medication anymore. It was expensive, but I still consider it a worthy investment. I lost about 15-20 lbs and several inches at my waist and hips. I look better, feel better, and am more confident about how to live with healthy habits for the long run.

I have also called multiple times this week to cancel an appointment and left several voicemails with no response. During one call, the representative hung up on me and acted as if they could not understand me, which was very frustrating. In addition, I am dealing with a serious billing error. My insurance was billed under BCBS-VA even though my coverage is through Blue Benefits Massachusetts and must be billed under BCBS-MD. The correct information, including the front and back of my insurance card, was provided at intake. As a result, I received a $200 bill stating the claim was denied due to improper submission. This is now the second administrative issue I have experienced with this practice. Access to healthcare is too important for repeated errors and poor communication. I hope the office corrects the claim and improves its administrative processes moving forward.
