I saw the doctor once in April, no labs. I was scheduled again for July and was told my labs would be done then. Well I got a call confirming my appointment and they asked if I had my labs done. I had no idea I was supposed to seek out my own lab work with some green sheet they did not give me. They did not give me a green sheet or any directions. I was told I was given the sheet so they basically called me a liar. Regardless they said they would need to reschedule me. I clearly told them I would find another doctor, cancel my appointment and I would not be going back there. Today I got a bill for my previous appointment, which I already paid and has cleared my account along with a fee for a no show for the appointment I made clear to them I would not be going to. Unfortunately Yelp made me choose a "star." Sorry Yelp.. No stars should be an option for these swindlers. I will be contacting the better business bureau and anyone else who will listen. I am going to another doctor. I hope my next experience is better and this is not indicative of all nephrologists in the area.

He put me at such ease when I was first in the hospital and just a young scared kid. He also currently takes care of my Dad. That is the kindest Doctor you will ever meet. However the reason for my drop in ratings, is because for the first time, I had to call the after hours line because I stupidly double dosed on my medication and I was nervous. I don't even know whom I spoke with because I was just greeted with a "yes" addressed my issues and before I was done speaking, I was hung up on. Doctors are not God. You don't have to take that unprofessionalism. They are humans and we are humans and in the end, this is a business and I do not like to be treated like that, and it's unfortunate that I have thoughts now of entertaining another practice. Pro: they do their job and do it proficiently. Con: no bedside manner whatsoever. You just have to figure out what's most important to you to see a Doctor.

Dr. Preeti Rana's office missed severe symptoms, had almost no follow up and did not even suggest going to an ER until I mentioned it as a possibility. They sent my mother, who could barely stand, her legs swollen from severe water retention, home and told her to "come back in two weeks."
