Last week I experienced a aggressive front desk staff member who verbally insulted me and exhibited unprofessional. behaviour. Certainly not a wellness coordinator but more of an angry abusive man. I've called and tried to resolve the matter. I was instructed that someone (owner) would call me, and to date there has been no attempt to treat a long-term customer with serious health issues and need for chiropractic care with the respect and concern that a medical provider should do. Next stop, Better Business compliant and continue to post about this experience until my concerns are handled appropriately and with the concern it deserves. The worst experience I have ever had at any medical/wellness/chiropractic provider! I recently returned to this area and needed some quick chiropractic care. I had had one positive experience with a Joint chiro in another state (tho another was not good), and this location was very close to where I live, so I thought I'd try it. BIG MISTAKE! The officer manager was nice, though not helpful when I needed it. The other administrative staff was incredibly rude throughout this process. The owner/provider was rude to the point of being mocking and cruel. I was badly hurt in an adjustment here. I was offered no help, tho I later called back and suggested I return and have a provider use an activator on me to relieve some pain. When I returned, everyone had vacated the office except a different doctor who used the activator on me. I was crying in the office I was in such pain. I was offered no follow-up or even concern., A day or two later I called because I was bed-ridden still in extreme pain, still crying. I did NOT raise my voice, threaten, or use bad language. I was asking for help! The staff said they would call the owner. They spoke with the owner on the phone and a few minutes later called me to tell me that he was not in the office and that he refused to call me from home/cell phone. I asked if another provider would talk to me to give me guidance. I told them I wanted to know if I should use heat or cold, stretching or rest, Tylenol or something else, etc. That doctor who was in the office refused to speak to me! The staff member on the phone was very rude and two doctors refused to even speak to me. I was in shock from this experience! I felt completely abandoned by the providers. Three doctors including the owner had either hurt me or refused to help me. Finally, the next day, several days after the injury, I spoke with the owner. He was clearly angry and defensive. He told me he had been on his day off and wouldn't speak to me then, and offered no reason why the other doctor who was in the office wouldn't speak to me. By this time, I was seeking care elsewhere. I told the owner I no longer had trust in his care and requested a refund for the next month I'd paid. He snapped at me, saying, "All you ever wanted was your money back!" I was refunded $80. I now pay $85 per adjustment where I receive care, which is excellent. I was in pain for ten days, and so stressed from this. This happened over a holiday and interfered with my work. It cost me far more than $80! I have gone to chiropractors for decades, and have even worked for two excellent chiropractors. I am a big advocate for chiropractic care. While I had one positive experience with a Joint dr. in another state, this model and the other providers/staff I've experienced were awful. I would NEVER recommend the Joint and I WARN people against this Greenbriar/Fairfax location. These people have no business being in the medical field or working with patients! read more

I go here about once a week to get my neck and back adjusted, and it feels amazing every time! The staff here are super nice and helpful, as well as the doctors of course! Dr. Rehmann tends to be the main chiropractor that I see, but sometimes there are floater chiropractors as well. They give recommendations as well, and it is a great price. read more

I came here because I had pain in my shoulder. I've gone to the doctors but they simply prescribed me steroids and told me it will go away on its own. The pain actually worsen so I have decided to give chiropractic treatment a try and found this place. Dr. Harris was my main doctor for the most part and not only was he courteous, but he made me feel welcomed and explained why my shoulder was in pain and what steps I'd need to take. Although the pain did not fully go away after first treatment but noticed the difference right away. After about 6-7 sessions, I no longer have pain in my shoulder. Price is very attractive here and the service provided by both Dr. Harris and Dr. Rehmann is top notch. Highly recommend. read more

This place has a great starting price of only $29 per visit and $39 for any after that if you don't want the packages/deals. I had insane back pain and after one visit, it went from excruciating to a 5/10. Extremely unimpressed when you spend several hundred dollars on adjustment packages and then have to hear a female chirp argue with you about her ego-driven attitude regarding adjustment effectiveness and firmness. I asked if she couldn't adjust me to my need and liking, for the other male chiro to do so; as is what I have always had here. She then proceeded to start an argument with me which she was clearly offended by the very notion of me asking politely. I then received the most ineffective 20 second adjustment session of my life, she gave me more attitude by concluding with saying "if you want a different doctor next tell them at the desk" despite me doing so when I was seen and after her extreme lack of customer service. I will not be using my remaining session nor returning here. Very disappointing you guys have people here with a huge lack of customer care and satisfaction who operate solely from ego. read more

I got my first taste of The Joint when I was in Cary, NC on a work trip. My friend recommended it and I was quickly hooked to the practice. I had a such a great experience there. The chiropractors and staff were personable and made me feel like they truly cared about my health and well-being. Each of the sessions I had were great and they took the time to figure out where I was feeling pain or discomfort and proceeded to do multiple adjustments on me. I share this experience to say, I have not had the same experience at this location. I've gone twice and have not felt confident enough to return. Each session was literally under a minute, walk-in and walkout clinic. Yes, I felt somewhat better leaving but both times did not address areas that I said I was having pain. I'm very big on building report with my doctors/physicians/healthcare providers to make sure they know what's going on and can provide appropriate treatment. Oh. My. Goodness. I came here after a couple months of talking about how I needed to go to a chiropractor, but had no idea how to do that. Being a relatively young college kid who grew up on military insurance, I wasn't 100% sure how to go about it, but after looking up The Joint, I was pretty confident. When I got there the first time, I was a little confused because they were doing painting or some kind of light construction around their shop/building, so it took me a minute to find the place. However, once I got there, I was pleasantly surprised and relaxed. The doctor walked me through all the steps, relaxed me completely, and made me very comfortable in my own skin. After not having chiro treatment for almost a year. Dr. A gave me great tips and advice to alleviate my pain. He set me up on a detailed wellness schedule to continue with my treatment needs. This place is the McDonald's of chiropractics (just so happened, they're also located right across from a McDonald's). They'll roll you off the conveyer belt with some slight adjustment here and there. This location won't do any serious adjustment and are always in a hurry when it's your turn. You won't get the through and detailed look. At best -- you'll get 3 mins max, then NEXT CUSTOMER. I cannot recommend this place unless it was free. Very superficial fix. read more

Fairly decent chiropractor, but their business model seems to be to push through a lot of patients in the shortest time possible, which allows them to charge far lower prices than traditional chiropractors. "The Joint" is a chain with multiple locations (not necessarily a bad thing, mind you). Like most all chiropractor offices nowadays, they pressure you to commit to multiple visits, and they sell you "package deals" with at least 8 visits for XXX dollars. They do NOT accept medical insurance. This is self-pay only! One-off appointments are allowed but they cost a lot more and are discouraged. Pros: Low prices, nice military discount (hooray!), walk-ins allowed without appointments, evening and Saturday hours. Generally good quality care, but it can really vary. Cons: You rarely see the same chiropractor twice. Multiple chiropractors so you never know who you're going to get on any given day, and some are definitely better than others. Try to call ahead and go when you can get Dr. Rehmann. He's outstanding, but everyone wants HIM, They want you to do automatic renewal charges on your credit card, so watch that fine print! Parking is limited and very tight in-and-out. Office advertises they open at 10 a.m. but often seems more like about 10:10. read more

I went to TheJoint in December 2020 for an adjustment. They wrote me a 'prescription' for 2 months of treatments, however I found myself in more pain after my 2nd adjustment and decided to utilize another provider. Because I had the prescription I was told I had to have a membership in order to receive the weekly adjustments. After that second adjustment I came back a week later to cancel as I was unhappy with the service. I did not request a refund of the original amount paid even though I had 3 visits left and 2 "free" visit coupons unused. When I came in to cancel my membership I was told that because my 'prescription' was for 2 months I was not allowed to cancel until the second payment processed, despite not using the service any longer and having no intention of doing so. The receptionist stated the only way to not be charged would be to change credit cards and report fraud on my account! *which I'm sure means they would charge the 'bill' off on my credit. The $29.00 first visit is simply a ruse to get you to sign up for their 'wellness plan' based on the 'prescription' for chiropractic services. I watched the same prescription be given to 4 others and they were also promptly enrolled in the 'wellness plan.' As you can see from other reviews, people are continuing to be charged after they cancel, this is a typical subscription scam that is easy to get into and hard to get out of. Buyer Beware. read more

Chiropractors can be a bit or a miss because sometimes they are unable to properly adjust you or adjust you far too much. I'd be so bold as to call Dr. Rehmann the "bone whisperer"...each visit has proven a success and I walk out feeling revived. He listens to your concerns attentively and explains what himself very clearly--extremely important in health care. I also love how this franchise has a low-rate monthly plan available without needing insurance. It's proven to be quite the deal especially on an employment health-spending account. When you go in for the $29 alignment they will try to sell you on the wellness plan. The wellness plan is 4 visits a month for $79. If you sign up that day they'll throw in 3 free visits but you have to sign a contract that says you won't cancel until after the 2nd month. So that's a total of 12 visits in 2 months for $187.00. That comes out to about $15.59 per visit which isn't bad. My problem is that when the receptionist explained the plan to me it was portrayed that the initial $108 that was being charged would cover the 2 months of wellness visits, so I thought I was paying $9 a visit. (That's an AMAZING deal I thought to myself.) I did not find out that the 2nd month wasn't included in the initial amount they charged until the $79 charge went through my credit card (overdrawing my account in the process). I called to speak with them about the charge and it was explained to me that the 2nd month was not charged at the initial appointment and there was nothing that could be done about the charge since I signed a contract stating I wouldn't cancel for the first 2 months. I'm not upset because I should have done a better job reading the contract before I signed it. I just wanted to explain their "If you sign up now deal" so that no one else makes the mistake I made. Make sure you use all your visits because they DO NOT roll over to the next month. Other than the billing conerns, the office staff is very friendly and the visits are usually pretty quick. Great and affordable chiropractic care. I regularly see Dr. Rehmann and he is warm, professional and courteous. Most importantly his treatment is very effective. He re-evaluates me every visit to see where I might need new or repeat adjustments. I feel so relaxed and well after each visit. I have had treatment with several other chiropractors there who are either or part time or temporary and I always received the same high quality of care. Different chiropractors might have slightly different techniques but the outcome is the same. I feel better than when I arrive. By the way it is always very easy to cancel or freeze a monthly wellness plan there. I have never had an issue of being over-charged. I highly recommend! read more

Easy and accessible! No insurance or appointment required... When you go in, you can fill out some basic information and get a membership card. This saves you in their system and makes things faster for next time. One you scan in with the receptionist and pay the small fee (I think mine was approx $30, there are also multi visit packs available) you are greeted by the doctor (every time I've gone it has been the same guy... very friendly with a great bedside manner!). He will ask about anything that is bothering you with your alignment. He lays you down and assesses you (and compares your chart to last time if you've been before), then adjusts. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes and found them to be friendly, fast, affordable and effective. read more

I have been there 6 times so far and am satisfied with their service. Their membership fee is very reasonable. Each adjustment takes no more than 5 minutes but frankly that's all is required to make necessary adjustments. I have been to many other chiropractors, each visit usually takes 30-45 minutes. But most of the time it's spent on heating or cooling pads, and/or use of TENS machine. Actual adjustment is about the same, 5 minutes. But the price at the Joint is much cheaper. I plan to keep my membership for a year and see how it goes. read more

Dr Rehmann and his staff are always so friendly. I live in Ashburn and travel here when I can. I have been adjusted by more than 10 Joint Chiropractors. Dr Rehmann is the cream of the crop. He is an expert at learning different spines and figuring out how to adjust them accordingly. Also he is a neck expert. I like a few of the other doctors but I know they won't do as good a job on my neck. It says a lot about Dr Rehmann that so many people are willing to pass by other Joints to come here. Not all chiropractors are the same. I have two Joint offices near me but I cannot get the relief that I receive from Dr. Rehmann. I sit all day in a stressful work environment. My neck gets stiff and I have a tension headache that can last for days. He can successfully crack my neck and I can instantly feel the relief. He has a great personality, greets you as a friend, is knowledgeable and doesn't do a rush job. I drive 30 minutes to his office but I know I will get the relief I need, never failed. My dad recommended me to this place. He told me about the price and I was shocked because the last time I went to a chiropractor it cost around $200 for five visits. Anyways, Dr. Rehmann is great and friendly! He took the time to evaluate my aches and pains around my upper middle back to neck area. After a few visits, I could already see relief to the pain I've been feeling since high school when I played sports. Overall, I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a chiropractor.
