Meat Supreme Pizza
Auggie L.

Went for Fort Lee Summer Happy Hours Food - 5/5. Meat supreme pizza was loaded with toppings as well as a good amount of sauce and cheese. The sauce went really well with all the meat as the tartness cut through the fat. Of the toppings, the meatball was my favorite as it has a good meaty yet soft bite and just the right amount of crust for texture. Service - 4/5. Quick and courteous. Value - 5/5. Specialty personal pie at $10 is a great deal. The pizza was loaded with toppings to fill every bite which made it seem even more worth it to pay the extra dollars to get a specialty pie. Great deal! Parking - Mall Lot (Free)

I've been enjoying meals here since 2021 and I've never been disappointed. Füdgarten is the ideal spot to grab a healthy bite during a lunch break, after a work out, or for dinner. There's plenty of seating inside if you want to dine in. The interior is modern, clean, and inviting with lots of greenery. Their menu is built on natural ingredients and bold flavors. You can choose from diverse options like salads, bowls, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, protein shakes, etc. They use grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, wild-caught seafood, and locally sourced organic fruits and vegetables. They carefully craft their recipes and every item is made with love and care! Yes, the prices are on the higher end. But I'm happy to pay for higher quality food... because what you put into your body matters A LOT ;) I've tried a little bit of everything and they're all delicious. The food is packed with vibrant flavors and generous portions of protein. My top recommendation would be the Big NY (~$16). It includes steak, onion, mushrooms, romaine, feta, and lemon cilantro vinaigrette. I usually get it on a whole wheat wrap and it is to die forrrrrrrrr!!! The steak is super juicy and tender. All of the ingredients work so well together! One bite and I was in love. I also love getting a side of baked sweet potato fries ($6). Even the ketchup they use is organic and only made with REAL tomatoes. Don't forget to grab a bottled Kombucha ($5) from their fridge - a tangy, fizzy, sweet, and refreshing drink! The owner, Mike, is the man!!! Haha he's very welcoming, personable, and really cares about customer service. He's the type of business owner that will remember your name and order. And the cherry on top... they have their own parking lot. That's a major perk in this area. If you haven't been here before... get to it!

Firstly, they have Greek music playing that you can here before you even open the door. They had my heart right there. Next thing I saw was the small little store of Greek products and packaged food along the wall. From gemista cookies to my favorite chocofreta bars, things were looking very good. We had already had lunch elsewhere, but came here for coffee and dessert. I never really have cold coffee in the winter but I could not pass up a chance to have a freddo espresso again. I was truly so happy I found a place where I could order a proper Greek coffee! So I got the freddo espresso and told my friends to do the same, and we each got a few desserts. The mini bougatsa was delicious (get it warmed up!) and I tried a few bites of the frozen yogurt. Sooo good! On a Thursday afternoon the space was pretty packed! The three of us found an available table after ordering and our coffees and desserts were brought right over. So happy I found a space for a little bit of Greece when I am homesick (I was born and raised in NJ, but still...) and can't wait to come back to try more of their food.

The soft shell crab was yummy and perfectly fried but we preferred dipping it into the yellowtail sauce. The yellowtail was a little overcooked and not the best piece. My friend complained that the meat was too tough as it was not just the collar portion. I usually find overcooking the yellowtail quite difficult since it's normally very tender. The cheesy corn chicken was delicious. Love the little pieces of corn in the cheese and the texture and taste of the chicken. The interior of the restaurant is clean, bright and relaxing. Service was good. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have the Orion draft available. Ordered and the ever came back 5 mins later saying that's unavailable as well so I ended up ordering the Terra. The have meter parking in the back or the restaurant. Around $3 per hour and the restaurant will refund you the first hour. Plus if you pay cash, you get 12% off. I would definitely check the bill as there was definitely a discrepancy with the parking reimbursement and cash discount. Overall, I think the food is better than norm and would definitely come back or visit/try the Manhattan location.

My son got a bit of a kick out of the random frogs they have placed around the restaurant. Food tip: Although they have lunch and dinner menus, you are allowed to order off the dinner menu if the lunch menu is not something you want. We ordered the fried dumplings $12, 2 salmon lovers, chirashi bowl, udon for the kids, chilled buckwheat and acorn jelly bowl, spicy octopus bibimbap in hot stone pot + miso soup and garlic chicken. Did we over order? Definitely yes. But we finished most of the things. Sushi in the chirashi set and the salmon lover was fresh and tasty, so I would order that again if we come back. Parking: street parking can be hectic but spaces opened up being it was a Sunday. The lot in the back didn't have a designated space for them, so it would either be municipal or street parking.

I noticed that Mavi's has installed wall mounted televisions, which scroll menu items, specials, and upcoming events. This was my first time ordering from their brunch menu and it was outstanding. My Western Omelette (ham, onion, mushroom, pepper, egg, potato, arugula, almond slices) was an excellent choice. Every ingredient was fresh, the eggs were fluffy, and it was accompanied by a side salad and two large slices of multigrain bread. The other items were the artistically presented Avocado Salad (Avocado, tomato, onion crisp, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, arugula mixed salad, almond slices with balsamic glaze and sesame dressing) and the Toowoomba Shrimp Donkatsu (crispy, golden-fried cutlet smothered in a rich, creamy, and spicy Cajun Toowoomba sauce with shrimp, onions, and mushrooms, served alongside a half-portion of pasta). This dish is succulent, creamy, pleasantly spicy, and thoroughly enjoyed. I'll never dine at Mavi's without ordering a Kimchi Bulgogi Pizza (tomato sauce, mozzarella, onion, mushroom, bulgogi beef, kimchi, scallion, spicy mayo drizzle). I was excited to finally order dinner after hearing good things, but my husband and I were unfortunately disappointed with the experience. We ordered takeout for dinner: Toowoomba Shrimp Pasta with Tonkatsu and the Spicy Original Tteokbokki (rice cakes) with Fried Kim-ma-ri (fried seaweed rolls). The shrimp pasta had good flavor but the portion was way too tiny. After only three or four bites, it was gone. There were about 4 pieces of shrimp in the entire dish and they could've added more pasta, given that it's not an expensive ingredient. The tonkatsu was also underwhelming. It was a small piece served in a large container that made the portion size look even more skimpy. I was also disappointed in the tteokbokki. It was mostly sauce with no egg and only a few pieces of fish cake, again served in a container that was far too large for the amount of food provided. The kim-ma-ri pieces were fine but also very small. Overall, the meal was underwhelming. For a total cost of nearly $50, the quantities were just way too small. We were left feeling unsatisfied and still hungry.

I had one hell of a sandwich here. If you're a tuna lover, I recommend ordering the SPICY TUNA MELT (~$12). There's a very generous amount of tuna in it along with swiss, red onions, tomatoes, basil, and chipotle mayo. The bread is buttered and toasted, so every bite is just a dreeeeeam. My only complaint is that it was overpriced for its size. I finished it in a couple of bites and was still hungry... I also bought one of their juices, the Ginger Lemon-Aid (~$6). I'm a sucker for ginger and I was not disappointed with this at all. Their juices are freshly pressed in-house and you can really taste the quality of each ingredient. The main thing deterring me from coming back here often are the higher prices and small portions. There are so many spots that serve sandwiches just as good at half the price. It's still worth a try, though. You get 15% off 1 meal + 1 drink when you check in. There's parking in the back of the store. The store is pretty small, but there's a few tables and bar seating for dining in. Service wasn't too friendly when I first came in, but they brought my food to my table in good timing.
