Oh my days this place is so bomb!! I was craving Venezuelan food badly and I luckily found this place in my city. I ordered a pabellon arepa, tequeños, and a chicha. I absolutely devoured them before I could take a photo lol but I have some newer photos of the menu. 10000% coming back :,)

Coming back for the empanadas . I have to try the rest of the menu The garlic sauce in the rice was hit.

I was visiting my friend in Long Beach from NorCal and she said I had to try this place since she loves it and goes often! We got the tequenos, potato balls, arepa, pabellon burrito, and chicha and it was AMAZING. The pabellon burrito was huge and I loved the plantains in the arepa. I've never had Venezuelan food before but this is something I would be coming back for. The flavors were bold, and the different sauces made it even better. Every time I visit my friend, I'm going to make sure she takes me here!

I just tried this bakery for my first time today and WOW! Everything is made so fresh. I ordered the cachapa, pastellito, and empanada. The crust on all 3 were so sweet and flaky; the meat in the center was tender and flavorful. This was the best place I've ate at all year and can't wait to come back

Good service. The lady helping me was friendly and welcoming. I went mainly for the chicken balls, but unfortunately they weren't available. So I ordered the chicken empanada and beef ball for my hubby. Chicken empanada was warm and savory, and those sauces were amazing. Although I did take it to go, it was clean and spacious inside.

Came in for arepas and got the empanada pabellón with scrambled eggs on the side. It was very delicious. Got coffee and it was great. My daughter got the Venezuelan sampler and all of the items were so tasty. My wife got a arepa with eggs and cheese. Would definitely come back again.

Wow wow wow! We tried almost everything on the menu and so good. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Place is clean and service was pretty fast. We will come back!

Great spot! Easy parking, plenty of seating, and a super easygoing vibe. The Venezuelan food is absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options, plus tasty desserts and drinks. Service was fast and friendly. Overall, highly recommend 5/5.

Food was absolutely wonderful! Cachapas, arepas, tequeños, pastelitos! And equally amazing was the service!! Raul and his daughter (Pierina) were the most attentive and kind :) truly special. And we were even able to get hallacas!! And a little Christmas gift that came with the order. The place has easy parking outside, tables/chairs were comfortable, and the decor was the cutest (a golden retriever and a baby Rottweiler eating Venezuelan food! Haha). 100% recommended! We will be coming back again and again! Mil gracias, Raúl y Pierina! Tienen un negocio muy especial! Los felicitamos!!

Chicken Capacha and Beef potato ball

This food was so good! I tried their stand at the Queen Mary Night Market and it did not disappoint. I had never had a capacha before but I love arepas so I thought I would give it a try. It's like if an arepa and a quesadilla had a baby. It's sweeter than an arepa but it is still a sweet/savory corn pancake on the outside with lots of cheese on top and A LOT of melted cheese on the inside. It was super flavorful and a HUGE portion. The potato ball was also great! Pillowy potato on the outside and a good amount of meat on the inside. All of the people at the stand were so kind and hard working. Their stand was slammed but the woman up front was so kind and tried to accommodate everyone. Yes there was a bit of a wait, but that's because they were frying and making the food right there! And they had told me it would be a 15 minute wait and that's exactly how long my wait was. They tried to be as quick as possible while still serving up great quality food. I highly recommend everyone give this place a try! It's worth supporting great local businesses!

There are also three tables outside that seat four, four, and two for a maximum of ten. The place fills up fast, but empties just as quick. And their baked goods go quick, so grab them while you can! I ordered the Cuban Empanada as an appetizer. The savory rice and bean filling was a perfect compliment to the sweet ripe plantain filling and hint of sweetness in the dough. They are baked and the dough is thick and chewy, so if you're not a fan of that type of Empanada, be warned... I ordered the Cuban Sandwich as the main course. It was DELICIOUS and I would recommend it to everyone! If you're a purist, like a few of my friends and family though, be warned. Their take on the Cuban is made with Ciabatta not Cuban Bread, Mozzarella not Swiss, and is toasted not pressed... I ordered a Vanilla & Dulce De Leche Cookie for Dessert. It was AMAZING! Soft chewy on the inside, a little crunch on the outside. The taste of a sugar cookie with little sugar bombs of Dulce De Leche throughout. Perfect. And I washed it all down with a Tres Leches Latte (Hot). It was DIVINE! Very much on the sweet side, which I absolutely enjoyed to the last drop. But, if you do not like it too sweet, you can ask them to lower the sweetness level. Also, they will give you an option of dairy milk (2%), almond milk, or oat milk when you order. Overall it was an excellent experience, for me. I will recommend it to all my friends, and will definitely be back!

It was our first time here, so we wanted to try all the flavors! We got the beef, chicken, BBQ pork, Cuban, chicken curry, veggie, and ropa vieja empanadas. I LOVE the crispy exterior of the empanadas, although interestingly, the first bites always tasted slightly salty. The fillings all had decent flavor, but none of them were outstanding or impressed me enough to want more. I will say, the green salsa they included with the order SIGNIFICANTLY improved the taste and experience of the empanadas. By itself, I'd rate the empanadas 3/5, but with the salsa, it definitely goes up to at least 4/5. But I dislike that the empanadas can't hold their own without the addition of the salsa. The shop is located in a plaza with a decent amount of parking. I think there were a few tables outside to enjoy the food, but not much seating otherwise. The girl at the counter seemed sweet and helpful and immediately greeted us when we came into the store. While the empanadas here aren't for me, it does seem like many people like them!

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. My mom and I shared the chicken pesto sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the mozzarella paired so well with the tomato, and the grilled chicken with pesto tied everything together beautifully. The vibes were incredible and I love sitting outside, especially it was more of a chilly morning, and they made sure to turn on the heaters above the outdoor seating which was incredibly thoughtful so customers that we're all sitting and eating we're enjoying a nice breezy cool day along with warmth. And I really appreciate that very human, individualized touch when discovering a gem adored by Pasadena locals. The ambiance is giving... small, simplistic, unassuming shop. To people just passing by, it's not going to look like much - but it's the energy & aroma of their food that pulls AND keeps you in. I recommend the Pork-Pernil w/Mano Cheese AND the Chicken Avocado Arepas. You really can't stop with just one order of arepas. It's been awhile since my last visit, but I remember loving the guava lemonade - good size & incredibly refreshing! Can't wait to explore more of the menu the next time I'm around.
