We got our car fixed about 2 weeks ago (Acura MDX). My dad accidentally hit a metal mail box about 1 year ago. It was starting to get little rusty so we decide to get it fix before it gets worse. We been pushing it because when we got our estimates from other places it was very expensive especially this dent was near the rear camera. However, when we checked Nova Autobody, their estimate was reasonable so we decide to go with them. I was very surprised!! I came here after visiting Brown's Honda in Arlington where I was told that I needed to replace lower control arm bushings for $540. I called NoVa Autobody and spoke with Yung. He politely asked me a few questions to determine if it was urgent and we agreed I would stop by in a couple of days. After taking a look at my car, he said there were a few little cracks but insisted that I didn't get anything changed this time because it wasn't serious. He recommended I have it checked next time I am getting my oil changed. If it needed to be taken care of then, it would be $260 (that's a huge difference!) I was in an accident in mid July and Geico chose Northern Virginia Auto Body to complete my repairs. I was given a timeline of around a week which was updated at the end of the week to two to three weeks. Some of my parts were backordered which was not the fault of the shop. I kept getting false updates because the dealership that was ordering the parts failed to let the shop know that the expected arrival date wasn't accurate and that the packages didn't even show as in-transit and lacked tracking numbers. Then came the part that really irritated me. They called me to let me know I would be able to pick up the vehicle within the week. They let me know that all the parts had finally come in and that they just needed to install them. The day I was supposed to pick up the vehicle, they let me know that their inspector neglected to inform them that I had a coolant leak coming from a specific hose on my radiator and that they would need to order the part. I begrudgingly accepted what they said and waited. A week and a half later, I called and was told that my part was still not there and that they did not have an actual date to provide me with as the package did not have tracking service. I was very frustrated at this point and offered to source the part myself to speed up the process. This prompted the owner to go to one of the other lots that the company owns to take the part I needed off of another vehicle that they were repairing. The entire process ended up taking two months (7/16/21-9/17/21). When I picked up the car, I was more focused on the repair than the cleanliness, but on the way home I realized they never cleaned out the coolant that had dripped all over my engine and other components. When I got home I noticed that the rear of the car was completely coated in dirt and sediments, there was a lot of tape under the vehicle, and the grill looked like it hadn't been touched which is interesting considering that they advertise that they return your car to you spotless which is even in their call queue. I will say the only good parts of this experience was the customer service provided by Darrell and the seamless paint work. I must have called that shop twenty to thirty times during the process and he never seemed irritated to hear me and did his best with the information that he was able to provide. That's the only reason I'm leaving this review with two stars instead of one. read more

I bottomed out on the way to this place, while taking my friend to pick up her car (which also received excellent work). The gigantic plastic under casing of my new Jetta was flapping all over route 50, and I was freaking out just a little. Compounding the stress was the fact that the shop was10 minutes from closing. I didn't expect them to fit me in without an appointment, but I asked anyway. To my delight, Mr. Lee graciously fixed up the car in a jiffy! How cool is that? The staff was so nice and understanding, and didn't hassle me about extra paperwork. I just paid their reasonable hourly rate- no extra unnecessary replacements. Had work done on the front end of my car after a collision. Some of it mechanical. After paying for the job I found that an important part of the mechanical work that I was charged for was in fact not done. I then had it fixed by my car dealer of which I paid for again. Seems very shady and is certainly wrong. I will never use northern Virginia Autobody again. As a matter of fact they didn't re apply a hybrid placard which they also charged me for so I will do that myself. read more

I can't say enough about this company and the quality work they provide. This is the second time I have engaged their services...first an insurance claim on my Lexus SC430 and most recently with a couple of disturbing, self-induced deep scratches on my Tesla Model S rear fender and rear bumper. The owner (Kenny) gave me an extremely fair price on the repair and painting along with a one day estimate for completion. I dropped my car off the next morning and as promised the work was completed by 6pm that same day. However, Kenny indicated that the repair required more paint and more hours to complete. He then showed me the repair and it was gorgeous! Could not be happier. On top of that, the owner stated that the price was the price and I was good to go. In the auto repair business it is always great when you can find someone you can trust. I will trust this organization for all future auto body work and you should too. I picked up my car today after having damage repaired from a rear end collision. I was stunned by the fact that the whole car was polished outside and looked like new, and the entire interior was immaculately cleaned and looked like it had been detailed. The estimator, Kay Kaizen, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and polite and handled the entire process very professionally. Having body work done is never pleasant, but this was as painless as it could get. I really can't think of anything this shop could have done better, and if I need body work in the future I will not even bother to get estimates at any other body shop. read more

I had minor damage to the exterior of my car after it was stolen and then recovered. The inside, however, was a mess. Filthy and ashes everywhere, reeked of weed, and the sunroof was broken. Mr. Park assured me that they would do a complete detail of my car once it was repaired, and they charged State Farm $200 for a complete detail. While the body repairs are done very well, I couldn't be more disappointed with the way I was treated and the condition of the interior of my car when I went to pick it up today. The car is still filthy, stains and ashes still in car, not vacuumed, and absolutely stinks... reeks of urine. They insist they performed the detail and I was treated like a piece of dirt who doesn't matter when I spoke up. My satisfaction was not at all important to them. Their only concern was running up the charges and getting as much money as they could from insurance -- over $4700 and they couldn't even do what they were supposed to. I now have no confidence that any of the other mechanical repairs were actually performed and don't trust that my vehicle is safe, and I have to go without my car again and pay for a detail out of pocket. I feel completely violated. BEWARE!!! read more
