I've been going to Yes auto services for a few years now upon the recommendation of a friend. I did a poll on Facebook and yes auto came up multiple times, and when I did a comparison with the other top answers in asking for quotes on services, Yes auto seemed to be the most affordable. I was able to text Daniel directly to be able to tell him what I needed done, and they have pretty good availability, usually even same-day. From what I've gathered over the past few years, they're honest and don't do unnecessary work nor do anything fraudulent to plan you having to come back to them. There was one time I got my brake pads and rotors replaced and I noticed them squealing again pretty soon after the service, and Daniel said I could bring it back in for him to look at, no charge. Turns out they were squeaking because of moisture on the rotors. Today I got my rear brake pads replaced and also got some power steering fluid, and the total was $148. I also need new tires soon, and though they quoted me for my tires, they also told me I could (and should) get them for cheaper at Costco. As someone else has mentioned, it's a modest garage, nothing big like a dealership or anything. They are in a strip of other garages, including one that is Vietnamese ("high tech quality repair" is the name of that shop); this one is Korean-run, but no need to be xenophobic or worry about not being able to understand them or anything, as they speak great English. I have been coming here for 10 years. These two gentlemen are the most honest, generous, knowledgeable, and caring mechanics I've ever met. I drive nearly 40 minutes from Arlington just to have them service my vehicle. If I ever needed to tow my vehicle, I would still do the same. The peace of mind I have using these gentlemen and the savings in cost would likely MORE than make up for the extra towing mileage expense. I recommend Yes Auto to everyone looking for a mechanic. Went to see Mr. Yeo today. Yes Auto is legit. My check engine light was on. I had called yesterday and he said, just come in at 9:30A. Drove right in. He did a quick diagnosis and while I was there, I decided to get the oil changed too (I brought my own oil and filter, so he only charged a bargain $20 for labor). He is a very nice man and his shop very modest. Their rates, candidly, are a bargain and he could probably charge more and still be less than other bigger, fancier setups. You should know that there is a little bathroom and a little customer area with a little TV, but Mr. Yeo is Korean and the place clearly seems to have some Korean clientele. However, DON'T let that stop you from patronizing him; I'm not Korean, and it was perfectly fine. I should note that it's a bit dingy (it's a small private auto shop), so it's not like a dealership where they have a super nice customer area to wait in while your car is fixed, but they do have wifi (password is in the customer area on the wall), and the chairs were nice enough that I was totally fine sitting around waiting. I'm totally coming back and he's getting all the business of the cars in my family for the forseeable future, mostly because I feel like he's highly trustworthy and I don't have to wonder if work he's recommending is necessary. read more

This place is amazing. I took my father's 2008 Honda Accord EX-L V6 there for an Oil Pressure Sensor. Very Important part for a V6 Eco mode and Gas Mileage. I bought the part online and almost went to another shop that couldn't fit me in and wanted to charge 5x the amount. Yes, Auto was across the street and was available. They changed the part in 15 mins, restored my gas mileage and warned me about the V6 Timing Belt!!!! Also known as the 105k service by any V6 Honda and Acura owners based on how it was running, the oil leak (Head Gasket) and what problems that were developing due to the leak. Let me tell you I will be back, honest work, install customer parts, and reasonable prices. Worth my drive from Baltimore, MD!!!! I will be back with all of my family cars!!!!!!! Took my Mercedes ML 350 for overhaul of all brakes and spark plug replacement as suggested by my local MB dealer. Then got a phone call from Daniel within 15 minutes of drop-off to ask if there is a specific reason I need the brakes fixed - because they still have about 10,000 miles of life remaining, based on his inspection. This postpones the overhaul by at least a month and really helps our cash flow! I really like these guys - no drama, no excuses, no misleading comments. I've been going to Yes Auto Services (Formerly Than Q Auto) for over ten years to service my 12 year old Honda Civic, and I fully recommend this place to anyone. The mechanics at Yes Auto are skilled and honest. They always charge fairly, and will warn you about things going bad in my car. They usually have quick service, and are the cheapest oil change that I've been able to find the the DMV area. I moved to Maryland, but I still bring my car to Yes Auto because I trust their quality service and fair prices. I've gotten electrical repairs, timing belt, pumps, spark plugs, brakes, hardware repairs, and engine repairs at Yes Auto and I am extremely happy with the results. A few years ago I had an engine overheating issue that I had diagnosed by two other mechanics that failed to solve the problem. Daniel was able to diagnose my car's head-gasket problem by conducting thorough tests that the other mechanics failed to do. He replaced my head-gasket - a difficult job - for a super reasonable price. I think if I had brought the car to the dealership or another mechanic - the repair price would have made the car not worth fixing. You can even trust Daniel to install parts that you buy yourself. I recommended Yes Auto for brake replacement on my friend's 2015 VW Golf, and Daniel did a great job upgraded using brakes and rotors that my friend bought online. Mr. Yeo is the owner of Yes Auto. He is an honest man. Being an honest man as a mechanic has probably not made him rich but it has made me a loyal customer. I've owned multiple vehicles from American cars to foreign cars and time and time again, Mr. Yeo does a great job with whatever work needs to be done and saves me money. He always gives me an option for parts (OEM or after market), he always gives me an estimate of time (how long it will take) and always delivers. Yes is the best. We've been taking our cars there (2005 VW and 1987 Mercedes) for four years and have had consistent, reliable service at a fair price. When I bring the car in, they are able to explain what's wrong, what needs to be fixed, how much each fix will cost, and how important each fix is.
